Lots of cute items here. The owner is a very nice man too who will even refer you to another store to help you find the right item.

Appears to have recently moved locations but frankly glad it's still in business. Almost all the best vintage furniture stores in Denver have gone out of business or have reduced hours. The store didn't have what we were looking for but was clean and friendly. Would definitely go back.

I love Humphrey and his shop. He is so kind and his new location is gorgeous. No longer the super-cool and funky little hole-in-the-wall that it used to be but charming none-the-less! H&E has just moved to a new location, kitty-corner from where it used to be. You may have to drive around a bit in the parking lot south east of the intersection at Monaco and Evans to find the storefront but it is worth the effort! Humphrey curates wonderful pieces.

Came here during lunch hour of 12:05 and they are closed- out for 30 with no note on when they will be back. Will review better once I can get in the store. Also, they moved so their address is incorrect on Google Maps. Looks cute. Just a bit off putting coming during a lunch break and not open with no notice on their website.

Best customer service. I measured for a couch based on what could fit in my apartment but didn't think to measure the hallway and doorframe. My apartment is in an old building and the couch I bought and had delivered would not fit. Something that was entirely my mistake was dealt with in such an incredibly considerate way by Humphrey. He took the couch back and I was able to come in the store and pick out different furniture.

No idea what would have happened if I bought a couch elsewhere or from someone and the same thing would've happened. In addition, the store is like a boutique thrift. Everything is in great condition and there's such a great selection of items. I will absolutely go back for anything else I need and recommend to anyone who needs furniture or other decorative items.

The owner, Humphrey, was so friendly and genuinely cares about helping people find what they are looking for. I found 4 pieces that I adore at an amazing price. They even delivered them. I'll be back frequently for sure.

This place is great, and Humphrey is the best. He's not pushy. He wants you to buy a piece from him, of course, but he wants you to buy the right piece. And he's taken care to collect gently used iconic and eclectic furniture. I wouldn't be surprised if I wind up with an entire room full of furniture I buy from him.

This place and the owner, Humphrey, are total gems! The furniture is beautiful, the prices are unbeatable, and the overall vibe of the place is awesome. Humphrey even took the time to help tie down the leather chair I bought because it barely fit in the truck of my little car. Definitely will be coming back!

We happened upon this little shop earlier today. We were greeted by who I assume was the owner. They were super sweet and helpful when we didn't find what we were looking for. The shop is best described as eclectic and pulls you into the possibility of creating a more interesting home space. I wad tempted to buy a few really beautiful unique pieces of art but we only had a kitchen shelf in the budget today. Overall, the prices seemed reasonable and the owner has clearly put work into finding really interesting furniture, art, jewelry and clothing. They're moving across the street soon and we're excited to check out their new space and additions to their sales floor.

Lovely little consignment store. Owner is super friendly & willing to haggle too. Make sure to peep the vintage clothing rack & the vinyl records downstairs! Not a huge store, but they have unique, quality pieces at very reasonable prices.

My husband and I came here to browse, with nothing really in mind to buy. We love collecting beautiful things! We met Humphrey (the second generation owner from his father) and he was so kind and accommodating. It's wonderful to meet small business owners who truly love what they do. This is clearly reflected in how well he curates his shop/collection. We can't wait to return again!

So, I visit Denver frequently and I browse and buy frequently and I found this great place. H and E used furniture. I fell in love. The uniqueness in selection(s),b eautifully placed picturesque Vignette style, as though your in your own special cozy room.the owner, whom I met is a professional decorator and displays talent in abundance. And he's nice. I'm buying and having it shipped. well worth it. Fabulous value.

This has to be one of the most underrated thrift/antique stores in Denver. The owner and curator is the sweetest and has really great taste! I found some awesome metal art pieces here as well as some cool tables and smaller table top decor. There were so many cool things in this space it was hard to narrow down what to buy!

My boyfriend and I went there because we desperately needed some furniture in our new place. We went in and there's so much to chose from! I could have stayed there all day. We ended up leaving with a new couch, chair, matching pillows, and a lamp all for under $300. Definitely recommend and will definitely be returning for some more fun items in the future.

This is a must see stop for every treasure hunter. Tucked away on the northwest corner of Monaco and Evans behind Milo's. Mid century modern, antiques, great furniture and great prices and a bargain basement. Check it out!

There's street parking that's hardly crowded! Hurry! I believe you get 1 hour of free parking. No meter-- but lots of good eye candy furniture and knickknacks to go around. The owners are very friendly, laid back just as I. We saw lots of coffee tables, paintings, mirrors, dressers etc., that'll look perfect for moving in on a budget. There's another completely separate thrifty antique store right next to this one, so be careful on mixing up the two. The place has scattered of thousands of old collectibles that you cannot miss. I mostly felt neutral with the selection. Antique shops are a rare gift by God.

This is my kind of antiquing -- huge variety all in one spot. I'm so smitten with one particular vendor, that I'll stop in for just 10 minutes to check out her wares if I'm driving by. Of course I'm not going to tell you which one! You'll have to find your soul-boother on your own. :-

Felt like we weren't in the right place since it seemed like we walked into a huge antique store? Not what we had in mind.we went next door the the other store and again, it was all antique-y. We couldn't figure out which store was the right one because none of them said H & E anywhere outside, just "ANTIQUES". Well we found out the second one we visited, the smaller one, was H & E only due to seeing business cards on the counter.

The furniture seemed "ok" and there wasn't a huge variety either. Prices were a little more expensive than what I'd pay for used furniture. Probably won't ever visit again.

I've been here a few times to look for furniture.while I haven't purchased anything yet, the service is always on point. The prices are very affordable (he was willing to let a small dresser go for $45! where else can you get that deal) unfortunately I didn't buy because he was going to be painting it and I didn't have the time to wait.but I'll be back for a couple other pieces in looking for.

What an excellent discovery! I was ecstatic about H & E Used Furniture before I even entered the building. The peekaboo windows outside showed just a small portion of what was in store. We came here looking for furniture, but we found much more than that. H & E Used Furniture is a huge, three story building filled with everything you could ever ask for. Gizmos, gadgets, knick-knacks, you name it and they probably have it somewhere.

From wild, feathered hats and vintage jewelry to spooky masks and ancient swords, they have it all! And if you can't find what you are looking for, they certainly can. And so I was off, suddenly lost in a maze of fabulous treasures. I must have been walking around for an hour just ooo-ing and ah-ing at all the cool stuff. I honestly felt like I was in a time warp, there were things from every era possible!

The sights were wondrously magical. Tucked away in a far corner behind an antique baby carriage and an African mask, I spotted a pair of cowboy boots. I was an unstoppable force of nature as I pulled them on. They were in wonderful condition and had just been polished. Even better, they fit perfectly. It was almost sad to leave as I walked up to the front counter to make my purchase.

What if I had missed something amazing?! I knew I'd be back. Stephanie was sweet and wonderfully helpful. My boots even had a discount, alright! I can't wait to go back and discover more awesome treasures, I friggin' love this place!

What a lovely time I had here. Humphrey, the owner, was absolutely wonderful and very accommodating. I am currently admiring my one-of-a-kind lamp, built by his father, that I recently purchased and just love it. Very reasonable prices and It is great to learn about the item as Humphrey is a wealth of knowledge!

I do a lot of thrift store/antique/vintage shopping these days (because I'm broke), and thus have become very picky about where I do said shopping. H&E is most definitely at the top of my list for furniture (and lighting and artwork, etc. etc.). The store is set up by era and as soon as you walk in you feel right at home. Humphrey I and Humphrey II (the owners) go above and beyond the standard friendly customer service and are always willing to bargain. Have you ventured away from the Broadway antique row? Because you need to, if only to visit the Humphreys and this super welcoming, budget-friendly gem.

Sometimes I keep my secret stashes secret, but in this case I am making an exception. Don't let this shop's name fool you, this is a super secret mid century modern cache. On a mini-antique row on Colfax (across from that more expensive mod shop), is this gem of hip mid modern furniture, glass, lamps, and nick nacks. The customer service is wonderful (they offer delivery!), and the folks here are not only friendly but more than willing to make a deal. (I scored a mint condition bread box and a quality shadow box for an unreal price.) Don't miss this one.

I am posting a few pictures, but every single time I go in there is something new and different. And don't be afraid to pick around, some of the real gems are under other things! Oh, and they have books and records too!
