Weisshouse

My design partner chose Weisshouse for replacement carpeting. The carpet was burber style with a small square pattern. In rooms it was wall to wall and the stairs had bound edges to show stairway woodwork. I cant say enough about the quality and care of the installation. The team was fast, conscientious and meticulous in attentionto detail. Every edge was beautifully aligned to create a flawless look. I constantly get compliments. Working with both sales and customer service was prompt and professional. Highly recommend them.

We bought a rug from them this winter for our new house. They had a fantastic selection of rugs with lots of different styles and price ranges. The salesman did a great job of showing me rugs that would fit my needs when I described what I was looking for. I didn't feel pressured at all to make a quick decision. They also let me take home sample pieces to help me decide which color would would fit best in our house.

Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely buy from them again if I needed another rug. They also have a few unique furniture pieces which were interesting but that's not what I was there for at the time.

I had been looking for an area rug for two months, learning about the alternatives and my personal preferences along the way. I visited fine rug shops in Washington DC and in Pittsburgh, and I made one big mistake. I should have gone to Weisshouse first!

Weisshouse is an extraordinary store with truly unusual and unique furnishings. Stan is the designer I worked with and he is an absolute dream. So knowledgeable and sharp with great suggestions. I can't recommend Weisshouse enough. Run, don't walk to Weisshouse for your next furnishing project.

The team at Weisshouse is the best. Especially factoring in all of the COVID-19/Supply Chain delays with home goods right now. Weisshouse was the only vendor I have worked with this year who set very clear expectations for delivery and managed to deliver ahead of schedule! Their selection and quality of rugs/carpets are the best you will find in any city. 5 Stars!

Wow! They know what they are doing. This is the kind of place you wish that other business's were regarding service and selection. It is customer centered and backed up by designers who have an eye and a passion for design. Betsy has worked with us most consistently over the years and has been terrific, I have also had great experiences with all of the designers when I have dropped in to look around or ask questions.

The selections on the floor are unique and eclectic with an uncompromising eye towards quality. You will find some standards and also a variety of pieces to make a space sing. I appreciate the use of sculpture and art peppered throughout the showroom. Their selection of floor coverings are in plenty and varied, we purchased all of our wool carpets over 20 years ago and they are still like new. Most importantly, they will work with you to find what fits into your aesthetic and comfort level. Highly recommend!

Fantastic! We were looking for some unique pots and found some on their site. I emailed some inquiries and received such a quick response from Cyd the following day and she answered all my questions with attached pictures and product descriptions. I ended up purchasing all of the pots they had available as they all looked amazing. I called and placed a phone order and Cyd was incredibly helpful and kind.

Just received them the other day and they all arrived in perfect condition and SOOO beautiful. Just wanted to say thank you to Weisshouse and Cyd in particular who helped us find the perfect little pieces for our home. They definitely have such great selection and wonderful customer service too!

Weisshouse is always my go to for carpeting and area rugs - they have a great assortment of styles and make everything easy, from selection to install. Betsy is wonderful and understands what you need immediately. The store is always so well merchandised with a variety of styles - a fun shopping experience every time!

I cannot say enough good things about my Weisshouse experiences! I originally bought a beautiful sofa from Weisshouse 20+ years ago. The cover finally wore out - the sofa had not. When I contacted them, they not only had my order history available, but worked with me to find just the right replacement cover. I now have a new sofa at a fraction of the cost! So excited. Quality furniture that really lasts with fabulous service. I'm so grateful.

They have an eclectic selection of interesting furniture and rugs and outstanding customer service. I was unsure if an 8x10 rug would compliment my space, and Todd brought it, along with a few other samples, to my house to try it out. It made choosing the correct rug SO much easier! Betsy specifically has such a great eye and a wonderful, down to earth manner. I'm not sure what my house would look like without her help.

This upscale home-furnishing store offers a huge selection of many things that you only wish you could place in your home, and their website does a great job of cleanly displaying most of their selections. I noticed a few things about their in-store selection: Chairs - recliner chairs, reading chairs, kitchen chairs, sofa chairs, office chairs, chair chairs (their selection is endless.) Rugs - probably a good 1/3 of their second floor is covered in rolled up rugs just waiting to be unrolled, admired, and stepped on! Tables, lamps, paintings, office furnishing, lots of artwork tastefully displayed throughout.

I had the opportunity to come in right before their closing, and a store representative was kind enough to offer any assistance although I mentioned I was only browsing. Later, after a brief conversation about my interest in home furnishing, she enthusiastically and generously offered me around 8-10 catalogs of their selections so I could learn more about their selections, and she topped it off with a complimentary Weisshouse chocolate candy bar (which was so delicious!).

One of their designers was also working in the back, and he kindly introduced himself to me and taught me a little bit about where/how they go about finding and selecting their furnishings for display. Overall, I had an overwhelmingly positive experience just browsing their store and learned a great deal from them about home furnishing!

Everyone makes you feel like family. You truly feel welcome from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. The owner is not arrogant and engages the customer in conversation. Business seems to be booming because the location expanded and moved from its initial location. I have no complaints. This store specializes in wool carpets, so if you have allergies be wary. The valences are intricate and the designers are affable. You will be impressed with their selection.
