Can not recommend this store enough. It is truly the most eclectic place in town. You can find anything for anyone. I always find unique gifts for my parents and friends and family. Everyone that works there is super kind and helpful. Be sure to check out the second floor while there. I have been going for years and never realized there was an upstairs.

I was excited to come back here as I was visiting my mom who lives in Louisville. I have bought merchandise here before and I was looking forward to buying some art work for my new home. Went in yesterday- Monday. We were the only ones in there and there were 2 people working behind the counter and neither one would speak, I waved my hand to the guy when I came in with no response, we were even 5 feet from both of them and neither one could say hi, no smile, do you need any help, nothing- zero acknowledgement.
Very unwelcoming. The young woman was zero help to my mom when she was asking about some items and if they had them at their other store. I really wanted to buy a painting they had but I can't bring myself to spend money at a place where customer service is nonexistent. So to the owner- I know good help is hard to find, but we went to other businesses in your area where the employees at least acted like they enjoyed where they worked and had proper customer service skills.

Walking in, you expect Red Tree to be a small boutique store, until you realize that there are multiple rooms, outdoor and upstairs to explore. And explore I did! They offer everything from handmade jewelry from local artists, furniture, decor, and even garden decor. My favorite was a beautiful Gargoyle. I wish I had driven here - he would have come home with me.
I was actually looking for a gift to take home to my friend who takes care of our pets when we visit Louisville. I found a cute little hand-painted bowl and some colorful bracelets. Just the cutest little gifts for her. Did I walk out with trinkets for myself? I sure did! Hand-made sugar skull earrings, a little mouse made of metal, and a Robot Christmas decoration. The store is just chock full of gorgeous pieces and is just a delight to walk around.

Red tee furniture is a massive multi floored furniture and home decor shop located in the popular and quirky Nulu neighborhood of Louisville Kentucky. Very thug about this shop is artistic and stands out. From the Nulu wildflowers mural by local artist Liz richter on the side exterior of the building, to the well placed and lovely decorated interior and finally to a wonderful alley that has not only more goods to shop for but a magical looking umbrella alley.
The shop itself has a wide variety and is very cluttered but in an organized way. They have mainly home goods and furniture. Pricing is all over the place as they have lots of goods and lots of high end merchandise. Overall very cool store to shop at or just stop in and browse and pose for a few awesome photos ops. You could legit take family pictures or senior pictures for a school here. Great shop and a perfect placement for the Nulu neighborhood.

Super cute store! Unfortunately terrible customer service. My husband and I stopped by on my birthday after lunch, wanted to check it out. Like most of Kentucky, no one was masked except my husband and I. We have both been vaccinated, but know of many breakthrough cases, and due to my recent travels 6 countries in 10 days. I knew that I had a higher then normal chance of contracting the virus, plus I had a cold.
All was going great until we finalized our purchase. Out of the blue and for absolutely no reason except to be snarky, The salesman asked us if we were both doctors because we had our masks on. We both travel for a living, he a pilot me a chef/Flight attendant on private jets. Because we have to travel internationally and mostly on commercial aircraft we feel we are being responsible by taking Covid-19 precautions. Will not be going back.

What an awesome find while walking around NuLu. We were intrigued by the window and walked in to find a two level store with so much stuff packed into it we list track of time. If I had a car I would've bought a lot of stuff and if I lived near here I'd be a frequent shopper. They have everything you can imagine. Great place to find gifts (I did)! Come on in, you too will think it's fabulous! Check in on Yelp gets you a 10% off perk that I totally forgot to do! Btw. pictures do not do it justice.

We had some time in NuLu and stumbled upon Red Tree. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and encouraged us to explore the space and the courtyard. They have amazing things spread across many rooms and two floors. There is also custom furniture with lots of color options for customization. The items in this shop are so inspiring, I immediately wanted to redecorate my place! A must visit if you are in Louisville!

I visited Red Tree last Friday & I had the best experience. A lady named Keisha welcomed us with open arms. She was so sweet & personable & absolutely brightened up my day. I always receive good service at Red Tree, but I couldn't help but leave a review about her. As always, Red Tree had some wonderful & unique finds for home decor.

One of the coolest boutiques in the Nulu area. Every time I'm in the area, I love to come here and browse at all the cool items. There are items ranging from trinkets, to books, furniture, and so much more. Staff is always so very friendly and welcome you upon entering the store. There are current COVID precautions in place and sanitizer upon entry. There is plenty of on street parking. Overall, I will continue to come back here over and over. If in the area I definitely recommend checking this place out.

I am OBSESSED with this place! It was absolutely beautiful. And then in the back they have the most gorgeous garden. I could've spent my entire paycheck and they're easy. I got two really cute pieces that are so one of a kind. I will definitely go back down and visit next time I'm in Louisville again

I didn't buy anything while I was there and just window shopped. The outdoor section is a must see! It's very peaceful and calming. They truly did a spectacular job decorating this place. It's located in an old Louisville building and it has a very "hipster" aesthetic to it. I didn't buy anything since it was mostly (overpriced) decor, but I very much enjoyed looking around.

Have you watched any of the Red Tree Nooners? Every day during quarantine, the owner Garwood and his niece Diana have been entertaining us with a saucy depiction of the items in the store. Fifty plus episodes are available on Instagram portraying items from napkins to lamps, home decor, outdoor planters and chimes, to spoons and coasters that speak the truth and can be the life of your guests conversations or the perfect gift for discriminating tastes. Items in the shows are available for purchase on their website.
The store also sells furniture on the second floor. I have been watching the Red Tree Nooners every day during lunch. I purchased several planters including a pink pot with glasses that my daughter says looks like me, a Buddha planter and a lady face planter which put a smile on my face and also provide a little zen. Other mentionable items, are the colorful language kitchen towel that depicts the current vibes, and the naughty leather coasters that not only save your furniture but lift your spirits.
I even found an adorable terra-cotta frog pot that hopped into my bag. Every purchase is tastefully packaged in their signature white bags with red tissue. I have been a customer of the store since I moved to Louisville several years ago. Shopping at Red Tree NuLu is an experience of discovery and wonder. I can always find something that I can't live without like jewelry, art pieces by local talent, and kitchen and bar items to name a few.
If you are looking for an unique gift or piece of furniture, checkout Red Tree in the heart of NuLu or via their website. The store reopens on May 20th, but it is open now for curbside pickup, shipping or delivery. Check out the daily Red Tree Nooners during quarantine, but hurry to check out the full store experience when they open. I am sure going to miss the Nooners! Thank you Garwood and Diana for such a creative outlet!

Where do I begin with Red Tree. This business is by far the most visually appealing place to shop on the planet. I mean, wow. Their unique ornaments and home decor are so much fun for me to shop. They also have furniture, artwork, local jewelry and more. This is also a great local shop to buy a gift. I don't think anything else need to be said. Go here

Could this store be any cuter? I sure don't think so! Located in the heart of Nulu this little shop is a Louisville staple. It's the perfect place to find gifts and knick knacks of all varieties while also enjoying the beautiful architecture of the building itself. The little back alley is breathtaking and the new umbrella editions are worth a visit. I absolutely love this store and recommend that everyone stops by while in the area.

Such a cool store in NuLu! They have tons of unique items for sale, lots of local and handmade items. If you're looking for a Kentucky/Louisville souvenir or a gift for someone this is a great place to look. They also have an awesome little patio in the alley way that they decorate each summer and periodically have wine/beer for people. Check it out!

Very very neat place. I would love to know the history behind the building. I don't even know the correct words to use. There's pieces of furniture that appear to have been built into the room long ago. Several different types of pieces to find here: vintage to modern. several local artist have their items up in the store. My favorite was the candles that were made using beer or wine bottles.
I think the scent was fruit loops. We of course stopped in the famous little courtyard to have our picture taken. They were working hard to add more stuff to the walls when we went.

I love Red Tree. It's a unique home goods, knock knacks and novelty store. The space is wonderfully decorated and filled with whimsy. There are high end items as well as reasonably priced things to be found. Candles, books, cards, art, glassware, naughty gifts, soap, coloring books, towels, pillows, art and so much more can be found here. I recommend you check it out.

Design Elements Extraordinaire! This shop is Creative, Whimsical and Classic! If you are decorating your first home go to Red Tree! Everyone is so personable! Josh, Eddie and JoeyTwoSpikes are such a force at Red Tree! The latest Umbrella Installation is a Classic! On my last visit I purchased 3 of @joeytwospikes digital renderings of Kentucky Bourbon Bottles! So much local talent for purchasing at Red Tree!

Easily my favorite store to shop in, especially during the holidays! When you walk in, be ready to look everywhere! There are paintings on the wall, ornaments hanging from the ceiling, and items that lay out on the furniture that is also for sell. They have the most eclectic collection in Louisville! They often support local artists too! Not just for art, but for leather, jewelry, and other items as well.
Their items through out are great gifts. I love the funny items they have too that are great gifts to lift someone's spirit. My favorite items are their ornaments. The fish and the mermaids and mermen are fabulous! Don't be afraid to ask for help. They are there to help you pick what you need and they have many options for finishes on the furniture! Go Shop Local!

I love this place! Located in Nulu, Red Tree offers home decor, furniture, candles, jewelry, gag gifts, ornaments and more. They have some of the funniest greeting cards ever. The prices are reasonable for most items though a little expensive on the furniture. My favorite time to go is during the First Friday Trolley Hop. They set up a cute little bar and offer beer and wine for $2-5 each. There is also a courtyard to sit and chill.

Really cool store! I've always wanted to go in here. I'm not sure why I never have because I'm always in Nulu and have been to almost every store here. Anyway, lots of people were walking through here just looking around. I honestly didn't pay attention to even see where there was a cash register so I'm not sure where the workers were at. Still, it looked like it was a building that had previously been a house.
There were numerous rooms to walk through and even an upstairs and a little garden and outside area with a small fountain. They have all kinds of things in here. Vintage stuff, cutesy stuff, UK and UofL decor, kitchen things, funny cards, paintings, etc. I would totally come back and purchase something. So much unique stuff! My friend said she had been here before for the gallery hop. Anyway, really cool shop!

We've been fans and customers of the Red Tree for years. They were one of the first shops to land in NuLu and a favorite destination during the monthly trolley hops. Through the years we've bought shelves, leather recliners, knick-knacks and ornaments. It's a fun spot to search for a gift when your friend has everything, or when you want to treat yourself.
There is an upstairs as well, with more knick-knacks and furniture. But, be forewarned, this is an old building and in some spots you see light peeking through the floor boards. It isn't your eyes - those are holes in the floor and light from downstairs. If you can't handle that, stay at floor level. (side note: not one of my purchased items was ever found on the top floor. hmmm) Pricing is truly in the eye of the buyer.
Most items are unique and will be noticed by guests that visit your house. When you visit, give yourself a lot of time to roam. The store is packed full and it's a bit overwhelming. And, while everything seems to make sense in the store, you need to step back and evaluate if it makes sense in your space, far away from the vibe of the Red Tree. If you haven't visited the NuLu area, the Red Tree is one reason to do it, along with several other spots for shopping and great restaurants to catch lunch.
