Each hide of Moore & Giles natural leather is unique. Within the same dye-lot and even within the same hide, you will find subtle variation in color based on the simple fact that each hide had a different life. Below is an example of how our skilled upholsterers will utilize these slight color differences and natural characteristics to their advantage and for your enjoyment. These leathers are our most natural with color and character like no other. They have the greatest level of variation in color and texture.
Avoid placing your fabric and leather upholstery in direct sunlight, and maintain a safe distance from any heat source. Vacuum your fabric upholstery often to prevent dust and other debris from becoming embedded in the fabric. Use the upholstery attachment to vacuum the surface of your upholstery as well as underneath the cushions.
Dust your leather upholstery periodically with a soft, dry cloth to prevent dust and debris from building up. Never use harsh cleaners or solvents on leather as they could abrade the finish or topcoat off the leather. Any spill or stain should be blotted immediately with a soft, dry, white cloth. For stubborn spills and stains, a lightly damp cloth with warm water should be blotted on the stain to lift and remove it.

We bought two highly priced and supposedly high quality leather chairs manufactured by this company. Within 6 months the chairs faded and so we went back to the retailer to see what could be done. The retailer claimed no responsibility and referred us back to CRLaine. They told us that we had not cared for the chairs properly and stated that we should not have put them in sunlight.
We told them that the chairs are in a north facing room and not subjected to sunlight. CRLAINE then told us that we should have window treatments to deflect direct sunlight. We told them that our north facing windows do in fact have sunlight defusion treatment and offered to have their reps come and inspect. They then went silent and wouldn't respond. So, please please don't deal with this company as you may get burned like we did.

I have been in the furniture industry for over 28 years in both manufacturing and retail. This company is of the highest integrity. Their fabric assortment and their marketing team are held in the highest regard for professionalism and quality of the product. Now as a designer I love their responsive customer service and our sales representative takes care of the very few issues we ever have if they arise. I wish I could give them perfect 10 stars.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend spending the money on this furniture. I was very excited to support a local handmade product, but I received damaged furniture and they handled it very poorly. I have had cheap furniture that has lasted longer. The legs of my chairs have wasted away in less than a year. They have ruined my hardwood floor due to the floor protector they installed snapping off in transit which exposed the nail on three legs. I was very disheartened to say the least. They compensated me by sending me plastic caps for my legs. What a joke.

As a truck driver I pick up from here Monday through Friday. I've met almost everyone from the shipping Department all the way up to the owner Mr. Roseman. This place has a very comfortable atmosphere and the workers seem like a tight-knit community. I would say this is a great company to buy furniture from or work for.
