Carol K. Courter started Techline out of necessity when she started building her own home and needed an organizational solution provider. With her zest and skill for organization, Carol opened Techline Studio in 1991 as one of the first non-architectural firms in the country able to be a distributor using the Techline name. In 1993, Jerry D. Couter became Carol's Partner & Vice President of Sales, changing the company name to Techline Furniture & Cabinetry. Jerry came directly from Techline USA factory in Wisconsin, where he served as the first-ever factory-direct sales representative for the company.

For 20 years co-owners Jerry Courter and Carol Courter have provided the DFW Metroplex with expertly designed furniture & storage systems. With special training in each area of residential or commercial design, Techline's space planners create detailed plans with 3D images of each design. That along with an experienced in-house installation team, you can trust that you will receive an efficient and beautiful system that meets your specific needs.
During your complimentary design consultation, our designers will personally visit your home or office to take detailed measurements and discuss custom solutions for your cabinetry or storage needs. Noting every outlet, switch and window sill means no surprises later during the installation process.
We downsized from 3400 square feet to 1400 and could not have done it without Jennifer and Techline. She designed stunning storage and an entertainment center for us that is the envy of our friends. We carefully evaluated the cost of Techline versus traditional furniture/storage and Techline was competitive and much higher quality.

We chose Techline for an extensive remodel of our home, including a complete kitchen, several closets, office cabinets, and a home office / guest room with a wall bed. The quality of the work was matched only by the level of personal service. Jerry was able to work with our design vision, configure some tricky spaces, keep track of many moving parts, and work directly with our contractors.
