I had a fairly poor experience with Joslin's upholstery. They were professional and communicative at first, but the quality of their work is below average in my experience, and their communication is lacking overall. I took my Knoll sofa to them to be reupholstered with my own fabric that I purchased. They accommodated a quick turnaround, but they did not get the style of the sofa correct.
As I had been very clear about the design and provided pictures, they fixed this at no charge, which was appreciated. However, the next time they delivered the sofa it was still not done correctly, and obvious that they had quickly run fabric over the old parts of the design without trying to get it right. When I asked them to correct this, they would not without being paid to do so.
I did not have the energy or time to shop for another upholsterer so I sucked it up and paid them. The sofa now looks correct, but the craftsmanship is poor in places and wouldn't be acceptable for me to deliver a client. Lastly, the quality of their work ended up being quite poor. The seams are misaligned in numerous places, and these have gotten worse over time.
The cushions are also stuffed poorly and have become badly misshapen in two years, which is not normal. I will need to have the cushions re-built soon I am sure. I recommend trying Eidems or HM Duke.
