The Design Center, conveniently located inside Lea Matthews, is the largest design resource center in the Tri-State. It features fine furniture and accessories, fabrics, trims, wall coverings, carpeting, hardwood and engineered hardwood flooring, and so much more. Used by our own stellar Lea Matthews design team and some of the most talented freelance designers in the area, no project is too large or too small. Be sure to tour the Design Center on your next visit!
In addition to fine furniture and accessories, Lea Matthews specializes in designing and creating custom window treatments and luxurious bedding. Our design specialists work closely with you to select the right style, fabric and trims to create unique draperies and bedding. Once the design is agreed upon, we will get to work for you. We have a staff of talented seamstresses conveniently located upstairs above our showroom who will turn your vision into reality.

I recently relocated from out of state and sold my home completely furnished. Recently purchased this beautiful couch from Lea Mathews furniture store. Not really knowing much about couches, they were very helpful with every question I had regarding furniture. The couch we bought was custom designed with performance fabric that removes all stains spilt. Within the first month of owning the couch we unfortunately put this fabric to the test with a full glass of wine.
I was shocked that with a little bit of elbow grease and water we were able to get the entire glass of wine out with no stain! Amazingly soft and virtually stain proof couch is what Lea Matthews provided us in a couch. Very satisfied with our purchase and I look forward to working with them again

I had an unfortunate experience at this design studio, we had purchased a very expensive couch and planned our entire living room around it, after only 6 months the couch began falling apart, the fabric looked horrible, pilling and pulling apart, feathers everywhere, after numerous people took notice of this and told me I needed to get my money back I called the design studio and was told "I was not taking care of it, and to shave the couch".
This couch cost close to $5,000 and I have owned other expensive pieces and have never been told to shave my furniture until this point. After actually attempting this with no improvement I was told they would contact their rep, I took photos and sent them, after weeks of emailing and calling and hearing nothing I received a rude email and was told they could do nothing for us, and actually blamed this on us and the fact that we have dogs, clearly in evansville its very rare for people to have dogs.
Its so unfortunate because we had planned on spending a lot of money to complete our living room, instead we are taking our business to the many other furniture companies that exist. I recommend you do the same.
