Came shopping for some furniture for my new house and Cody was such a wonderful help! That guy is one amazing worker!

We ordered a sofa, loveseat, recliner and accent chair from Thornton's last Aug and was told it would come in the following Aug due to supply chain issues.we had to pay 50% down at the time we ordered it. I finally decided to call today (May 2022) to check on our furniture and was told that the sofa and loveseat would be in at any time but the recliner and accent chair wouldn't be in until Nov.

I was also told if we wanted our sofa and loveseat when it came in, they would go ahead and deliver it but that I would have to pay another delivery fee for the recliner and accent chair when it finally comes in.so, I asked if I could cancel the order and was told no, they couldn't cancel special order pieces. I was told we would have our furniture by Aug and now I am being told not all of it will get here until Nov.so how long am I supposed to wait for furniture when I was told Aug?

And to charge me another delivery fee? So penalize your customer for the delay? There was zero willingness to work with me. The attitude of the salesman was very flippant and unconcerned when I spoke with him!

Michael always gives me exceptional customer service. He always knows what I would like based on my past visits and quickly leads me in the right direction. He gives his honest opinion to make sure the customer gets what he/she wants. Ask for Michael!

Extremely disappointed with customer service. I was spoken to in a condescending tone over the phone by Michael and another woman sales team member. Neither were eager to assist me in my sofa search. I was hoping to give my business to a privately owned furniture store in Kentucky, but will gladly take my business elsewhere.

We bought lazy boy sectional from Thornton got home it was to big for our space so we had to go back got Greyson lazy boy rocker I absolutely love and lazy boy sofa Cody our salesman was so great to work with I HIGHLY recommend him. I am so excited for our new furniture to be delivered.

Thornton Furniture is by far the best furniture store in Bowling Green. We ordered our furniture during the pandemic and were told up front it could be delayed. We appreciated that they were honest with us and gave us a heads up. Everything we ordered was on time and delivery was quick. The staff was amazing every step of the way and made the experience seamless.

The delivery men were so kind and professional. The quality of the furniture is the best I've ever owned. If you are looking for high quality beautiful furniture, I highly recommend them!

I did not have a good experience with Thornton. I do not recommend anyone them. They are not honest with customers at all and wouldn't do anything about it, you're stuck in the situation. And if you rate them based on your experience they will block you and try to delete your comment, so becareful.

Terrible service, order furniture in Feb- Kelly advised they started making it. Sept- today manager called in- and I was still in line, didn't even start on it. Came in store- and one of the guys, instead of to take care of your customer told me "just cut to the check"- refund! So much for taking care of their customer service! Would never go back in!

Friendly sales people. Nice furniture but the people at pick-up barely covered the furniture we bought and they got wet in the rain. Flippantly said we should have brought our own covering. Seriously, who brings covering for their brand new furniture. It comes wrapped doesn't it? And no one said to bring any.

Excellent staff and excellent furniture. I love all the pieces selected for our home. Great customer service and knowledgeable design experts!

Just wanted to write a review regarding Thornton Furniture in Bowling Green, KY. Hopefully this will help someone not have to go through the same frustration as we've gone through. We purchased a $1,300 chair from them about 90 days ago. The leather has significantly faded. When taking this to the Store Manager, not only was he rude and condescending but my problem was not resolved.

He stated the manufacturer would not stand behind this defective POS. I've taken my complaint to the BBB, hopefully they will be able to right this wrong. I will never purchase anything else from this store and I suggest you do the same. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

You get what you pay for. Things cost a little more than competition, but that's because it's better quality. Mrs. Thornton was extremely helpful and knowledgeable but not pushy. Because of her help, we have new furniture on the way.

Great dining room tables. We also love our wall art we picked up here. Furniture and art delivered in great condition and on time. We would recommend to anyone!

Be sure to read the fine print! We ordered furniture in October of 2020 and were told it would be here by February 2021. Towards the end of February 2021 we called to check on the status of our order and were told that it's on a truck. Great we thought. However 2 weeks later still no furniture and never a call from Thornton's. So I called back (in March of 2021 now) and was told by Ben Thornton that he had no idea where our furniture was nor when we would receive it.

He then proceeded to tell me how awful Lazy Boys customer service is and how they receive no updates on orders they place. Had we known that, we never would have ordered. When I asked if we had still not received our order by the end of March if they would kindly refund our 50% deposit, Mr. Thornton unequivocally said No! I asked why no one had bothered to call us to inform us our order was running late, he said they didn't have anything to tell us.

Even Amazon has the decency to apologize to us when our packages are running late - and offer a refund if it is extremely late I might add. In the end, he just said, "I've got nothing for you." That sums up our experience at Thornton Furniture. Save yourself a lot of time, money and frustration and look elsewhere.

Thornton Furniture has been fabulous over the years. We always enjoy shopping there and explaining our needs and looking at solutions for those needs. I can say that I have never had a situation that we could not find a solution. I have also had a manufacturing issue on a few occasions and Thornton Funiture has always been responsive. They are over the top with customer service.
