I called Treible's just THIS AFTERNOON, at 4-something p.m., to find out if they carried NORMAL sized notebook filler paper that measures 8 1/2" x 11" (remember that paper, folks?), and discovered TO MY GREAT DISMAY that Treible's has permanently CLOSED as of August 31, 2017! It's been replaced by AAA Business Supplies and Interiors!
If you call the Treible's phone number someone will answer "AAA"! AAA Business Supplies and Interiors sells only to COMMERCIAL accounts, and you must set up an account and SPEND a minimum of $500.00 MONTHLY, and each order has to be a MINIMUM of $50.00! They do NOT sell retail! YIKES! SO SAD to see this business, established in 1959, GO! MOM AND POP Treible's, how could you leave us like this? Farewell! Your babies (loyal customers) will always love you!

I have been working with Treible Stationers for the last 5 years. My account rep is Chris and he is awesome. He provides excellent customer service, always gets our orders correct, and will research something if he is not sure about what I am needing. I like to support our local businesses and Treible Stationers is one of the best. They are very reliable and if Chris is not available, anyone else there who answers the phone or helps me always does it with a smile in their voice and they are very helpful.

TREIBLES MAKES MY JOB EASIER! If you're located in the East Bay and want to save your business time and money, Treible Stationers is the way to go. This CA Certified Small Business provides the same name brand supplies as the larger chains, but also carries value brand supplies, and a good selection of generic ink cartridges. (As an added bonus, their return process is quick and easy!) I LOVE that this company also offers a FREE same-day local delivery service, which I've utilized on several occasions. What more can I say? Thank you, Treibles!

I really want to support the local small business but this is the third time I have been to their new store. I walk in, no one on the floor, two people in the office. No one looks up, asks if I need help or anything. Once I find what I need I have to stand at the register for a good 5 minutes BOTH times waiting for someone to come out of the office to to ring me up. The attitude of the people at this store is really not very pleasant either. At least at Staples, they smile and ask me if I need anything and thank me for my purchase.

ALKO Office Supply's loss was Treible's gain, in more ways than one. I was quite sad when ALKO closed. I still am sad that I don't get to speak to Gary once a month or see Sergio the next day. But when ALKO closed, Claudia started working at Treible. We started ordering from Treible as well. I know you probably don't have an office-supply store, but do your office-supply store's employees recognize your voice on the phone? Well, mine do--or at least, Claudia does. She's awesome.
She gets us good deals, looks up product numbers for us, recommends cheaper alternatives, and generally provides excellent customer service every time. Can Staples or any other godawful chain do that? No way. Of course I wish Treible were closer to Berkeley, but they deliver for free, and their delivery person is very nice. He's no Sergio, but there's only one Sergio.
The moral of the story is support the little guy; support Treible. And if you speak to Claudia--correction: you should ask for Claudia. Once you're speaking to Claudia, tell her John from the UAW sent you.
