I ordered a custom sandbox cover from this company. I wish I would have read their reviews before ordering. They ask for very specific measurements which I thought was reassuring at first but the finished product came significantly off from what I asked for. Like others have said, there is no response after multiple calls and messages. They also rip you off on shipping costs, they charged $60 for something that could have been sent for 1/4 the cost. I'd stay way from them.

Wow. I cannot recommend enough going elsewhere. This is the least respectable business I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. Seriously. Don't do it. There are dozens of retailers online that offer the same products as these guys, and you'll receive what I did not here: service, communication, follow up, and respect and appreciation for your business.
Only after I sent a couple emails (their voicemail box is full and has been for well over a week.), the last of which was 13days after my order, when I suggested they please reply or I'd take my business elsewhere, did they charge my credit card and begin shipping my order. No response. No tracking information. No appreciation for the amount of money - hard to come by money during the covid outbreak - that we spent there.
Just read receipts on the emails I'd sent. They don't care. They won't care about you. They won't care about your concern for their disinterest in communication. They certainly won't care about providing order updates or tracking information. They definitely want your money, though. That, they care about. Don't trust them. Don't patronize them, and spare yourself a completely miserable experience.
I suspect if you live close enough to the actual retail location, and can confront them in person for their palpable disdain for the people who pay their bills, you may receive some type of customer service, but I'd not hold my breath. Look at all the online reviews of this company.and judge for yourself.

Placed an order in early June. Approximately 6 weeks passed so I emailed them. No response. Tried to call. No one ever answered. Emailed them again. No response. I sent another email canceling my order. Still nothing. In August I received a package. It was not what I ordered. Didn't need what I actually ordered as I purchased it somewhere else and received it within a week for $50.00 less. Junk company.

I ordered a pool liner from their website March 23rd and never received a tracking #. I have called several times and sent numerous emails and still no response. I will be calling my bank in the morning to put a stop pymt on my card from this company. They should be removed from Google as a suggestion to buy from bc their apparently fraud! I'm so tired of online scamners taking hard earned money.

Ordered a slide on 7/1, and still no slide on 9/5. I have left a voice mail and 2 emails. Out $959 and no slide. happy to update my review if the slide shows up or the company reaches out with an update. Update: the slide did show up in November. The quality of the slide is great. Obviously, everyone has had supply chain issues due to Covid so I will assume that was the issue. They never did respond to my calls or emails though, so for 4 months with no slide and no contact I assumed it wasn't coming.

Yikes. Thank goodness I read the other reviews on this company. I was looking for a slide - called and called and called but no one ever answered. I emailed and no one responded. And now I look at the reviews and they are total scammers! So pathetic that companies even exist like this after all the terrible reviews.

STAY AWAY! Company is fraud. I don't know how legally they are still online. Another fraud is how google still brings them up on search engine knowing this company is fraud. I ordered a pool liner weeks ago. The product never showed and you can not get thru to company. No one picks up phone or returns call. They don't return your emails either. If only I looked up this company reviews before hand. It's a shame to put trust in google thinking they will bring up the best most trustworthy sites in your search

Ordered two brackets on 7/18/20. The website stated the brackets were "in stock". Order would be received within 5-7 days. On 7/23/20 I had not received a status that my order had shipped yet. I reached out via there "contact us" on the web page. At this point just asked for an update. After three additional business days with no response, I started calling the phone numbers listed on the website.
Phone has an automated answer that a representative will be with you shortly. Then the prompt says no one is available. After 25 calls and no communication nor email follow up on 7/30/20 I decided to reach out to my card company to have them dispute any charges that come through from Backyard City. I have also sent Backyard City another email letting them know to cancel my order.
I understand with all that's going on businesses are short staffed and thus can delay orders getting out however, it doesn't excuse any follow up over two weeks. Wouldn't suggest ordering from this company.

Recently called and spoke with Trey about how much shade fabric I needed for a 20 x 16 percola. He told me how to order and that I needed 19 yds. The fabric is folded double on roll so is actually 10ft wide. I trusted Trey as an employee to give me the correct amount to order. Once we put up fabric, we still have a roll of 5 1/2 yds by 10 ft wide plus left over piece of 16' by 6ft.
The left over piece of 16' by 6ft is to be expected. We have called and emailed Back Yard City numerous times wanting to return the excess as it was Trey's error in calculation. Backyard City does not stand behind it's employee's decisions and allows this to happen. I would not use this company as they are not dealing with the issues they have and the customer ends up with more fabric than they can use and paying more.
