We are a full service shop which means we have the capabilities, experience, and equipment to take your project from its conception to completion - design, build, and install nearly any type of interior or exterior element for private or commercial space. We like to start by having a conversation to learn about you, what you are looking for, and what budget you are working with. This way, we can help define the project and create the design that's unique but also practical in the way that it meets all your needs.
We design and build one kitchen at a time. We believe that kitchen is the heart of your home and as such, it is important to us that it reflects your personality, is as unique as the space that it occupies, comfortable and beautiful for you to work and live in. At The Westmount Group we approach building furniture with the intent of creating something that can be passed along in your family for generations.

For my 30th birthday, my girlfriend had given me a double neck guitar kit(that I had been wanting to buy for years). I love working on guitars, but last time I tried staining/clear coating one, it came out looking like someone just dropped a bowl of pasta sauce on it. After reading some reviews on different woodworkers, furniture makers, and local artists whos portfolio is filled with paint focused projects, I chose to give the Westmount group a try. Jeff and I emailed back and forth for about a week. Discussing what I wanted in terms of colors, sheen, and layout of where I wanted the color. Jeff took the time to ensure that he fully understood what I was envisioning in my mind for this guitar.
I brought the guitar in, and we looked on the computer at different hues available, and he showed me the different levels of sheen I could chose from. After about 2 weeks, Jeff contacted me to let me know the stain had arrived, and double checked all the details before he started staining. 3 days later, he emailed me again, telling me it was completed (way faster than I expected).
This morning I went in and picked up the guitar, and it looks even better than I imagined! Jeff did incredible work, and is very kind and professional. I am very happy with his work, and next guitar kit I get, or any other project that comes up that is in his wheelhouse, I will absolutely bring it to Westmount group!

This place is a class act. I''m giving feedback now because I realize I forgot to years ago when Jeff built a number of things for me. a super large table with flat storage for works on paper inside, and a small set of shelves for the teabowls I make. I'm a ceramicist working in the same building. Westmount makes incredible work. Money well spent.

I had been looking all over the state for some replacement parts (sliders) for my decade old kitchen drawers. I got nowhere with the first 5 suppliers I tried. Jeff Carter and the Westmount group proved just the opposite. Not only did he track down the parts, but after they shipped unsuccessfully to his shop the first time, they arrived a few days later at my doorstep in Guilford!
And they were still covered by a lifetime warranty, so there was no charge. You usually rave about customer service when you are a paying customer- to get the type of customer service when there is no money changing hands is another thing- out of this world! Great job!
