The young man working there was super helpful help me come up with a couple really cool ideas of things to do when I eventually finish my porch also was awesome about finding out what he can order and what he could not order definitely recommend it I mean the prices are a little high but you basically will get furniture that last forever if you take care of it

Our new favorite furniture store! From here on out I will buy any furniture I need from The Wood Carte! We live about 2 hours away and I was looking for a TV stand. The owner was so helpful and texted me pictures of a few options before we went. When we got there we left not only with the TV stand but with a dining room table set. When we got home we realized the table was too big for our space.

The Wood Carte was absolutely fantastic and let us trade it in for a size that fit our space with absolutely no problem at all. Thank you Wood Carte! My new furniture makes me smile :

We had a great experience ordering bar stools and a large dining table set. The employees are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Helped us wrap up everything so there wasn't any damage on the way back to our home. Waited 4-5 months for our furniture to be made and would do it all over again. I've never heard of a business that is so absorbed with themselves. The owners of this business could care less about the community they're in and actively work to shut other businesses down. I could never support a business that does not stand by their community. If communities and businesses can't support one and other than what has this world come too.

This place and it's owners disgust me. I hope all of you reading this will rethink your choice and go somewhere else! If you can't be there for other businesses in your community how can you expect others to do the same. you've lost me before you could even have me as a customer. If I could give them ZERO stars I would. UTTERLY DISGUSTED!

Outstanding customer service and beautiful home furniture. This place is very pricey but you are paying for authentic handmade Amish work. I highly recommend The Wood Carte for anything rustic looking. We picked this piece up today and it compliments the area perfectly!

I'm redecorating my living room and I have a few pieces from the Wood Carte. I really love the quality of Amish made wood furniture. I usually shop for it in Lancaster, PA; however, on a recent visit to the Lake George area I was introduced to the Wood Carte. Their selection is outstanding. The prices were higher than comparable items I've seen in PA.

For example, I have a log cabin lamp (see picture) I purchased at the Intercourse, PA Farmer's Market for $175. The same lamp was $299 at the Wood Carte. That said, many of the items here are one-of-a-kind. The unique qualities of each pice of wood come through in the finished products and they are very beautiful and well constructed, If you find something you like, chances are some one else will too. Take it home when you see it! I will be returning next time I'm in the area.

My first experience with the Wood Carte was a pleasant one in 2016. I recently purchased a second corner TV Stand for another room. It was ordered in August and was expected the last week in October. We received the call advising that the item was ready to be picked up on November 1st or 2nd. We drove from Kinderhook, NY to Queensbury NY (153.4 miles roundtrip) to pick up the stand.

Please know that the Amish do not believe in packaging material, so you need to bring blankets or something else to wrap the item purchased. Once we got the stand home we were extremely disappointed. The hole that was cut out in the back for cords to go through had splinters sticking out in all directions. I actually got one stuck under my fingernail.

Upon further examination the tops of the two front doors don't line up. I called the store as was told that had I purchased a stand in the $500.00 or $600.00 range it would have been finished better. So, Buyer Beware, at the Woodcarte "Fine Quality Craftsmanship" by the Amish is defined by the price you pay. I have gotten better from Target for a lot less than $412.00.

This item is now selling at the Woodcarte for $429.95. I was told on Monday morning, 11/12/18 that I would get an email later that day regarding this matter. As of 6:30 PM on 11/13/18 no email received.

The Wood Carte sells a lot of Amish made furniture. They have both finished and unfinished furniture for fairly reasonable prices. The Wood Carte 2 next door focuses on outdoor furniture. The staff are helpful and they have a extensive variety of furniture and housewares for sale. Their showroom is well decorated and laid out.

Love this store! The ideal place for that rustic, Adirondack look. Furniture is unique and top quality. Never miss a clearance sale either - can snap up some awesome deals. The polywood outdoor furniture is beautiful and tough enough to survive our mild summers and brutal winters unscathed.

They staff here is super friendly and helpful! And the products are beautiful. Yes can be a little pricey. but your definately getting what you pay for! Great products, great service. need I say more!

We love this store and come home with items for our cabin every time we stop. Service is fantastic and the items are all very high quality. Not the cheapest place around but the selection is very large and diverse in the rustic genre. Highly recommend this store for all your rustic furnishing and outdoor furniture needs.

We were looking for bookshelves that were a specific size to fit next to our stairs. They were able to accommodate our needs. We bought maple laminated. The two bookcases were over $800 unfinished. The first problem was that they arrived in about 10 weeks after we placed the order. They were missing 2 shelves. I called expecting that they would rectify the situation by ordering them and wishfully expecting them to ship them to my house.

The store is an hour away. They said they don't do that, I would have to come back to pick them up. The second problem was that there was a big swath that wouldn't accept stain. Was it glue? I don't know. Needless to say I'm not too happy. They do have beautiful products on the showroom floor.

I've been looking for a new table for our family room for the last few months and decided to stop when we passed the building on Rt. 9. I've seen the commercials and my sister has a cabinet she bought there so I was a little familiar with what the carried. I definitely was unprepared for the grand scale of what they stocked. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for but they had a ton of options.

There was one table that was a possibility and the owner was extremely helpful, checking inventory, discussing the construction etc. There was loads of stuff I wanted but will have to wait for another time.

I love the possibility I see every time I shop here. everytime I walk in I see something more that I want to add to my house. another wish item to put on the list. We have a log cabin and all the wood furniture is perfect for it, you would think I would tire of that much wood but I don't. I have to limit my visits to when I am looking for a specific item otherwise I am overwhelmed and near tears with the selection and my inability to afford EVERYTHING I see and want!

One happy lottery winning day, I will return and buy every item I ever drooled over here, but until that day, I will pace myself and save for that awesome wood table with the root base that is my current favorite!
