About Us Report

In 2001, Cindy Bontrager and Angie Campbell were working at Designs West, a well-known and successful seating company, when it closed suddenly. Cindy, in a leap of faith, purchased all the patterns and some necessary equipment from Designs West, and Superior Seating was born. Cindy and Angie started in a 600 square foot space in Goshen, Indiana, near the Old Bag Factory, with 4 other employees. Within two years, the business had expanded into its current location, two large buildings in Elkhart, employing 25 talented and dedicated people.

To say that I'm extremely disappointed would be the understatement of the week. I've waited for 2 months for this seat. Ryan assured me that all I'll need to do is to disconnect the base and install new seat on top of the old one. I informed him that I currently have Legacy seat and it is made by Seats inc. So today I drove 2.5 hours to pick up my new seat.

I brought the old one with just in case Ryan said that they do not install anything but it would be fine. Also looking back at the time I've ordered mine he repeatedly said that "there is no returns and no refunds" because each seat made to order. Well guess what - it didn't fit, it didn't fit with base and it didn't fit without one either! So I'm just stuck now with useless truck seat that I've paid $1300 for. How great is that?!

These people build a chair worth paying for. I have an Excalibur seat in my truck and 2 years later it still sits like new. Armrest are still both good as new, no elbow wear or ends coming through the cushion. They are a little pricey but you're not buying a custom chair not a box brand

The seats are good, but they didn't fit. Bad advice from Ryan. Cost me thousands to make the seats fit. No restitution. They take no responsibility that they will work in your truck. After $3000 on installation, now my air-bags no longer work, and Ford will not touch it. Stay away from this outfit unless they guarantee fit and work.before you pay.
