BUYER'S BEWARE! This company has essentially stolen from me. We ordered an office furniture set that had damage to the lateral file piece upon delivery. the delivery driver's rejected delivering it and hauled it off with them. That was over 3 months ago and after numerous attempts by me to resolve the issue, most of which the correspondence goes ignored, we still do not have the replacement item and no delivery date scheduled!
This is after being promised on a couple occasions that the delivery company will be in touch with us to schedule the re-delivery. Customer service is abysmal at best and I'm still out the $$ with no item. Contacting my credit card company now to dispute the charges.

I called in July and was told the office furniture I wanted was in stock. I paid half down and received an email that it would be delivered in 2-5 weeks. No one ever contacted me to tell me any different. At 6 weeks I was told that the moving company had picked it up. I called today and was told it would be late November before I would get it. Very deceptive practices and would not recommend buying here.

Purchased an end table 5 months ago. At time of purchase was told 6-8 weeks until it would arrive. Called back in and was told it moved out to 16 weeks. Called back in again and they moved it out to 25 weeks to ship. I've been waiting 1/2 year for an end table, decided to cancel the order. They don't pick up the phone when you call. Seems like a shady place.

Originally went to The Dump which is located next door and were so dissatisfied with the prices and lack of customer service that we left and went to M and M! So glad we did because this place is great! The owner is so friendly and professional. Prices blow away The Dump and its more organized and easy to find what you need and want. Lots of styles, colors, fabrics, finishes and sizes of furniture to choose from.
You will find what you want here. We got huge 10ft x 10ft sectional sofa & over sized ottoman (plush soft fabric); 3 Queen size BR sets (bed, dresser, mirror and night stand); 2 Queen size mattress and box spring sets and a cool bird cage lamp for less than 6,900 dollars delivered! We got a nice discount for buying so much which was equal to a little more than the cost of delivery so it's like we got delivery free of charge. That's great! I will go back when I need anything else.

Wow. I thought they were closing? That's what the signs said. Big sale since March or even earlier saying they were closing and "ALL MUST GO." Then for a month it was the "FINAL DAYS." Then it was the "LAST DAY" (.for 2 days). The whole promotional scheme lasted into August. Upon a return visit in September I see instead of it being "Mahogany & More, " now it's "MM Furniture." Same location.
Same phone number on the signs. Same style of signs. Same cars in the parking lot (which tells me it's the same workers). It looks like the same truck that the big banner is on too. Plus, very similar writing in the "About Us" sections of the mahoganyandmore.com website and the mmfurniture.com website. Hmm. People were guessing they would merely change the name, and it appears that's what happened. I'm not going to research it further, but I'm feeling about 98% certain this was a store re-branding and not a store closing, as was advertised for months. Kind of silly. The lesson? The next time you see a furniture store advertising that their store is closing, be skeptical.

My husband and I went into this store a few weeks ago to inquire about a dining room set we had been looking at online for a while. We just bought our house and were working on furnishing it. I was in love with the Jessica McClintock by American Drew furniture and Mahogany and More was listed as a dealer in the area. They are always flooding the area in Oaks with giant signs that make it look like they are going out of business and says "Up to 80% off" so we decided to go there and see what their pricing was versus what we saw online.
They have tons of furniture books in the front of the store by desks where the "salesman" are working. We were never greeted or even glanced at and walked through the whole store and spent about 10 minutes with the furniture books with the associates less than 10 feet away at their desks not even acknowledging us. My husband took the book over to one of the men at a desk and asked him about pricing on the Dining room set (which we know retails for around $10k-$15k online depending on which pieces you choose).
After telling him I already know what we are looking for and we were researching online the associate looked at us and said "you know this is a very high end set" and giving us a condescending look implying that we could not afford it. I said "Yes I know what it costs I want to see how your prices compared to what I found online" he looked at me again and said "you know this is a very expensive set".
Then he started fumbling around at his desk and said to my husband that he would take our number and call us with the price once he "worked out the numbers". It's been in excess of 3 weeks and we have gotten no calls. Honestly I never thought I would encounter such snobbery from a store that looks like the ass end of a warehouse and not a furniture store that sells "very high end furniture". Their building has water stains all over the floor and buckets to collect the active leaks. Horrible, we won't be going back there!
