Amy has a background in Visual Merchandising and a degree from Jacksonville University in Graphic Design. She came to us from the fashion industry-overseeing window displays and interior merchandising-with the hopes of expanding her artistic and creative talents in home furnishings. To date, Amy has been certified as a Design Consultant through the Interior Design Society and has furnished several model homes and condos.Amy enjoys helping her clients turn their "house into a home." Laurie comes to Bethany Resort Furnishings with 30 years of design experience.

When designing a Living Room, always purchase the largest pieces first, whether it's a sofa or a sectional. This will then dictate the rest of the area.
Bedrooms are the primary place of relaxation, where we all retire to take a good sleep and refresh, away from the world and worries. This furniture gallery has a good selection of coastal themed delights. I moved to the area about a year and a half ago, visiting this store on numerous occasions with my partner looking for furniture for our new home. On this trip, we purchased a lovely couch. Our saleswoman was a delight to work with. Unfortunately, due to COVID and shipping problems, our delivery was delayed. We were happy, however, that our sales representative worked diligently to keep in contact with us and then, followed up with a call when our couch finally did arrive.

I've been visiting Bethany Beach for over 30 years multiple times a year. Imagine my disappointment when I walk in to this store that I've driven by for quite a few years and the older woman who was sitting at a desk never acknowledges us? I'm speaking loud enough for her to realize I'm looking for a bed to finish my coastal- themed master bedroom and she completely ignores me and my companion.
We are a friendly couple and after realizing she's not going to offer assistance (she was working with another couple when we first came into her presence but she had bid them a great day and was now free) I said "good afternoon". She mumbled (without looking up) "good afternoon" and went back to shuffling papers not asking us if we needed assistance.
It was awkward and unusual in my experience but she couldn't have cared less. Another staff member had come into the area after overhearing the exchange and rushed in to cover her coworkers' insubordination. She was very nice and helpful. I wish I could remember her name. I found the exact bed I looking for that I'd seen in a magazine years ago! It was priced within my budget and she gave me delivery options.
Unfortunately I decided they don't deserve my business. The first staff member we encountered was upbeat and very pleasant to the couple sitting with her when we arrived and she gave similar energy to a gentleman and his daughter after we walked away. We realized that we are a minority in Bethany but in 30 years we never felt anything but welcome in EVERY establishment we've patronized.
We love it there. So I will find my beautiful new bed at another retailer as much as I want it now because this company needs to do some diversity training or give someone a pink slip. Either way, they don't get my 3K.

I ordered some furniture back in March. I was made to pay in full. I NEVER received any follow up on delivery so I called them and was told my order was on a truck from North Carolina and would be in soon. Again. weeks went by and I never heard anything. I called back to set up delivery and was told there was a 'miscommunication' and they were hoping my order would be in by mid-September I received no apology, no true explanation, and no offer to help remedy this problem or my frustration.
Not worth it to shop here with so many other local and big box stores that are reliable and trustworthy. The fact that this has gone on for months is infuriating! Take your business elsewhere.

Ordered six dining chairs on Nov. 2, 2019 for the holiday's. Cindy our sales person said it would take six weeks for delivery. We thought we had a couple weeks cushion. Turns out the chairs won't be in until the end of February now. : My holiday guests will be sitting on the floor! I couldn't post this unless I selected at least one star. ZERO STARS!

HANDS DOWN. ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE E. V. E. R. HAD TO DEAL WITH. Nearly a year after purchase and issue caused by their delivery driver remains unresolved. Details too lengthy to go into here. While things happen, it's their cavalier attitude that really sums up my experience from purchase onward!
