My new STL Full to Queen Conversion Kit Lowered Rail Bed Frame Converter DRCV1L arrived within a couple of days of placing the order. The package and contents were in good order. The frame assembly was easy, and the bed frame was very stable, even with only the center cross brace. The box spring and mattress are well supported, and stable with both me and my wife aboard. The bed is in a guest bedroom and has not yet been used, but have every expectation that it will serve its function.

Pros: Probably the widest selection of different mattress types in St. Louis from latex to foam to spring to hybrid. Owner (Doug) is knowledgeable and eager to help you. Cons: Really difficult to have a straightforward conversation with Doug about mattress quality. He loves to talk about how a mattress is hand-made, regarded as "luxurious, " capable of withstanding the forces of a hydraulic press, made of "organic" material, etc.

I don't see how any of these factoids is supposed to help me judge the comfort or material quality of a mattress. I asked Doug to educate me about the foam density and spring count of his mattresses, but he would not give me specifics. He just could not stop talking about how many pounds of wool were in the mattress cover. Ultimately got fed up and bought a mattress somewhere else.

I ordered a bed frame support from Walmart and got a call from Doug asking me about my bed to make sure I ordered the right thing -it turns out I did not, and he was very helpful finding the right parts for me and explaining how to install them. I'm so happy I found them because they were so helpful!

We purchased the full-to-queen conversion rails. Delivered promptly, easy to set up, and works properly. Very satisfied.

I called inquiring about a metal bar frame in replacement of the wooden slats and pegs that came with this set. Not only did Doug sell me a quality product but he gave me instructions on how to install it myself. From the materials I needed down to the exact measurements. Nowadays you dont come across this outstanding level of customer service so easily.

I was looking for a full-to-queen size bed frame conversation kit. I ordered the product on-line from STL Beds. Doug actually called me to confirm the product ordered was right for my bed. I confirmed the measurements of my full-sized bed per Doug's instructions and STL got the frame in the mail almost immediately. Thank you.

Doug called me the same day order was placed (Fri), verified the order and explained I missed fedex for the day and it wouldn't ship till Monday night. Doug called me back ten minutes later and said he called the driver and they came back for my order. Great service Doug and Sydney (delivery driver). It arrived Sunday night.

I have an antique bedroom suite that belonged to my wife's grandfather. As expected, full size bedframe and headboard/footboard that gets hidden by today's high top mattresses. Plus, I don't understand how two people ever found room to sleep on full sized beds? The full-to-queen drop frame conversion frame corrected both problems, and was simple to install.

I had trouble with FedEx delivery. STL Beds shipped the day after my order! The unit arrived at my city's distribution center two days later, where it sat, and sat, and sat. After eight days of sitting at the distribution center, I contacted Mike at STL Beds and shared my problem with FedEx not delivering my product. Two days later I got a replacement.

I couldn't be happier with the product, and equally important, STL Beds' prompt handling of a problem that was not their fault. Can't say the same about FedEx shipping and support.

The level of customer service at STL Beds is absolutely amazing! I received a phone call from the owner, Doug, on the same day that I placed my online order. He went over all the details about the mattress that I ordered and asked me many questions to make sure that I was getting the best mattress for me and my husband. He also went over all of the shipping details with me.

I can honestly say that I have never received such a high level of customer service from any other company! We received our new mattress yesterday and it is wonderful! The quality and craftsmanship are top notch and it is very comfortable. My husband and I both love it! I would highly recommend STL Beds and will definitely purchase from them again in the future!

STL Beds misrepresented the manufacturer's 25 year warranty on the HD 3500 mattress. We have owned the mattress for 5 years and are now stuck with a bed that we can't sleep in.

I bought a bedframe for an antique headboard and footboard. DRCV1L. I have had ALL kinds of trouble with it (not their fault). The shippers ripped the box open and STL sent replacement hardware RIGHT away. I didn't buy enough crossbars because I have a split box spring so it was falling through in the middle. Another order sent like lightening. Now the hook won't stay put in the headboard slot and it's wobbling. "No problem!

Here comes more hardware as a stop gap!". They got on FaceTime with me to see and advise, answered the phone while the store was closed, popped back emails within minutes, remembered my name, and treated me kindly and with a sense of humor EVERY time. This is the way service should be, but you NEVER find anymore. One bed frame doesn't make them much money, I'm sure, but they treated me like I ordered a thousand mattresses.

So so helpful as a person trying to do this on her own. You are in great hands here! PS. Watch the instructional videos they made! Posted pics from first incarnation. Frame has adjusters to make a double bed fit a queen mattress.

Ordered a steel mattress support to replace the slats on my wood frame king size bed. Used their website as I live in Florida. The info on the website was very descriptive. The item described was exactly what I needed. It arrived as stated on time. Their web site contained a instruction video for assembly which was very helpful. There was also detailed instructions included with the product. Totally happy with my purchase.

I ordered a handmade insert mattress for my super single waterbed frame. It was a great piece of furniture and I wanted to keep it. The mattress was to be shorter than the length of the frame and 1 in shorter on the sides so you could tuck in sheets and blankets. When the mattress arrived and I put it in the bed frame it was very tight on the sides of the frame, with no room to tuck in bedding.

It was 2in too wide. I talked to Doug and spent quite a bit of time discussing the issue with him and sending him a lot of pictures to document the issue. Finally they decided to send a replacement mattress made to the correct dimensions. It arrived and fit perfectly. Doug was always helpful and worked hard to resolve the issue. The mattress manufacturer will now measure these mattresses before they are shipped for quality control. I was happy with the outcome.

Wonderful frame and made in the USA! Caring company that calls to check on service and contentment if the product. We ordered a king bed full frame and it made our room from ordinary to hotel luxury sleeping with a sturdy frame!

After doing our research on beds and what we were searching for, then came the research on companies to provide this service. We chose STL Beds do to their customer service and prices. We decided to contact STL Beds. Our first contact was Joe (and continued to be Joe) and we quizzed him like we were studding for a final exam. We asked it all and he was patient, attentive and most of all knowledgeable. Ordered our bed and arrived earlier than advised. Joe was on top of our order and kept us in the loop. STL Beds had many videos online to get assistance on set up.

It was easy. We were concerned about the weight of the bed (total 223 pounds) on pallet. This broke down to manageable pieces and was easy to move in ourselves (both 65 years old). Had a slight issue with the zipper and Joe came to the rescue. He did not have the answer for this question and got back to us in just a few minutes. Self repairing zipper.

Love the construction of this bed. All thru this process Joe was on the job! He gave us little hints and tricks to set up. Joe is a real asset to STL Beds. We now know why STL Beds has such a great reputation. The bed is just what we wanted and are very happy with this whole process. We are both retired Customer Service managers and know what it takes to be THAT company that has it all. You guys are the best and we will tell everyone who asks. This is a great bed frame! My son came to live with me and he is tall and large, he bent the leg on my bed frame so I went to a mattress store and got a new one that was suppose to hold his weight. After a week it started to bend in the middle so I got on line and found STL beds. Ordered a fantastic bed frame, more legs and great middle support. My son said you can feel the support when you are on the bed. Thank you STL.

I happened upon StL Beds while searching for an organic mattress. Why organic, you ask? I am trying to eliminate/avoid toxins that I can personally control. Many of the materials in mattresses are cause for health concerns-do your research. The organic brand I purchased is by "Savvy". It consists of 3 seperate layers of dense latex foam that are soft, medium or firm.

You can mix these 3 degrees of firmness to your comfort. What I love about this is each side of the bed can be customized. We purchased a King size bed; my husband liked his less firm and chose to layer his side of the bed with firm on the bottom layer, medium in the middle and soft on top. My side of the bed is more firm; firm, medium, firm. Another great thing about StL Beds- it is a family owned business.

No high pressure sales here. They are patient and helpful while you test out the different degrees of firmness- and there is a 90 day return policy (not sure about restocking fee). My husband needed to exchange 1 of his foam layers for a softer firmness and they had no problem with that. My husband and I are very happy with our purchase!

Needed a very heavy duty bed frame as me and my partner are big men, We have a memory foam bed which in itself is heavy. I found STL on line and called them. Joe was very helpful on the phone and assured me that the bed frame could support the weight. I got the King Steel Super Duty or Waterbed Frame - K43 K43WB, it was exactly as Joe described it to be.

It arrived in the time he said and it was VERY easy to assemble, took less than 10 minutes. So far it was done it's job, not a single creak or any movement when we move on the bed. I really enjoy the permanente fixed legs with no wheels as this prevents the bed from sliding around. Too bad they are not closer, as I would consider them when I need to buy a new bed!

We ordered a bed frame from STL for an antique full bed. The owner gave me a call to make sure I had measured the bed width and checked the hook system on the bed. I hadn't. He gave me his cell to call him back once I checked. It fit the frame dimensions so he shipped it. Set up was really simple and it looks good. Overall really great service and a good product.

I don't write reviews often, but I was so impressed with STL Beds, I must. Over the years, I've purchased several mattresses -- never quite finding THE one. With able assistance from Joe, we're now completely satisfied and resting comfortably every night. Joe really listened to us, he showed us several alternatives, he encouraged us to test each one as long as we needed to AND he was very polite and focused on us.

When we purchased the mattress, Joe estimated delivery to take place the following Tuesday or Wednesday, and indeed, it came as promised. And STL Beds removed the old mattress and box spring, too -- at no charge. I will sing the praises of STL Beds to anyone who's looking for a great product at a reasonable price from a truly customer-focused establishment.

My bed was sagging in the middle and come to find out, the original wooden bed slats were bending. They were 10 years old and clearly outlived their usefulness. I researched what I needed to replace them and stumbled on the Steel Bed Frame Center Support 3 Rails, 3 Adjustable Legs GS-3XS. I ordered this and it was an excellent and reasonable price of $100 plus free shipping.

It was pretty easy for me to install on my own. I watched the video on their website a couple times when I got a little stuck. My bed no longer sags and bonus, it no longer squeaks with any slight movement. My bed feels solid now. I don't think it's ever felt like this. When I ever buy a new bed frame, I'm installing this first thing! Highly recommend!

Just got my brand new Savvy Rest organic mattress from STL Beds. I stumbled across their website when looking for organic mattresses in the St. Louis area on Google. My wife and I were skeptical at first because several other mattress locations had higher prices in store compared to online. We drove out to Arnold to check the mattress in person. We were happy to find that STL beds' online prices matched their in-store prices.

Bought a bed frame from a local retailer and a month later one of the center support legs had bent and I did not want to deal with the local retailer as they would have just replaced it with the same cheap frame. Went online and found STL Beds, so happy to have found them. I ordered a steel support frame which included 4 center supports and 12 adjustable legs (YES 12 legs!).

I bought a brand new bed from Macy's and the wooden center frame broke the very first night. Well, I was in a panic and searched for something quick to replace my wooden frame. Found this product and seemed to fit my needs. I ordered the frame and in 3 days I had my new frame and it's perfeccccttt! Now my bed is sturdy and I can tell this will last me a long time.

This place is the BEST Place to buy mattresses and other bedding needs! We've had ours for several months and are completely satisfied. Doug, one of the owners, did a great job helping us pick out the exact mattress, pillow top, etc. to meet our needs. I highly recommend you check them out before deciding on buying somewhere els!

These guys have a great mattress selection, the best prices in town ( we looked everywhere). The staff were very helpful and listened to what we were interested in getting. They made several recommendations and did not automatically try to sell us the most expensive model. They were able to answer all our questions on quality and expected life span of the products. We are very happy with the service here.
