Wilcox Furniture

Poor customer service! Horrible experience. I walked in and not one employee standing in the central walkway offered to help me. It wasn't till my husband walked in and they (salesmen) quickly offered to assist. The Caucasian salesman (not wearing a mask)that approached could not give me concrete information concerning availability and pricing. He kept questioning everything I asked as if he did not understand what I was asking. He did not return with appropriate information and began helping someone else. The salesman did not make me feel welcome nor did he want to authentically assist.

Went in late October to look for some badly needed living room furniture. With salesman's help we found a sofa and love seat that checked all the boxes. The last in-stock set was recently purchased so we were told it could take 3 weeks for ours to arrive, with a slim possibility it would take longer. We paid cash, as well as for a protection plan that I hoped would serve as goodwill.

It is now January 23 and we're still waiting. Salesman and the manager have asked us to be patient as COVID is delaying stuff from manufacturer. We're trying to keep our patience but also hope we're not being played. We've bought from there before many years ago and had good experiences. Hope that ultimately holds. 1/31/21 EDIT: Our furniture arrived yesterday.

Didn't have much advance warning, but they did call us to let us know it was on the way. And the delivery guys helped us get our old furniture out the door and onto a pickup truck to dispose of it. Add one more star.

This is a large store with alot to choose from. My sales person Jim was so helpful. He looked through the computer to find things that are in stock now. With his help I found the perfect living room furniture and it was delivered right away. I would look here first when you are looking for furniture. They are awesome!

Walked in on Saturday and nobody greeted us, but a white man walks in right behind us and gets greeted! Next we walk the whole bottom right side of the store, all the way to the back, passed the counter with more salespeople & nobody acknowledged us! So I decided to walk back to the front & up the stairs, maybe I'm wrong, THINKING maybe salespeople upstairs are different? NOPE, NOBODY IN THE WHOLE STORE SAID A SINGLE WORD TO US. On top of that, not one salesperson that we saw had a mask on I definitely will shop elsewhere. I ended up finding something really nice at Ashley's!

LOVE.THIS.PLACE. but one of the best things I can say is about the employees. As soon as I walked in, i thought I would be overwhelmed because the store is quite large and so is the selection BUT I was pleasantly surprised. Out of a group of employees waiting to walk around with you, Alan was the employee who showed me around per my specific needs he was able to help me stay at my budget. Alan was phenomenal!

I had to bring my kids with me and he was engaging with them and of course, with me. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. When you go in, ask for him! You wont regret it! After walking around and choosing the furniture, he walked me to the cashier to introduce me to Elaine. She was very helpful and sweet. There was a problem with their payment system but Elaine and her boss were able to figure out the issue and help me get on my way.

You know how frustrating computer problems can be! They remained cool, calm and collected! Another HUGE bonus was after some research, I found out that Wilcox is the ONLY company who has a local warehouse enabling you to pick out your furniture on one day and have it delivered the very next day! Every other place was 4 to 6 weeks out. So when they delivered the very next day, the gentlemen were fast, efficient and very nice! This whole experience has been wonderful! I would recommend Wilcox Furniture and especially ALAN, at the Sunrise Mall location.

My mother has been buying furniture from Wilcox for years. She moved to a assistant living apartment and needed new furniture to fit her smaller living space. As always the furniture is very good quality, with name brands you can trust. The sales people are very helpful, but not pushy. They went out of their way to accommodate my mother's wishes. I live in New Braunfels, I wish we had a Wilcox near me, they have the best selections I've seen. Keep up the good work Wilcox!

I love the furniture we bought! Blyth is an excellent sales person. She let us look without hounding us which I appreciate it. There is nothing worse than a sales person following you around the store. We have excellent credit so buying was not a problem. The delivery was timely and they called 15 minutes before arriving. Extremely polite delivery guys. Made sure to take care and not bump walls or other furniture while moving in. Overall very pleased. We will shop there again!

Met with Allen, very friendly & helpful guy! Awesome customer service & so far a great experience. (He asked what we were looking for, directed us which levels to see, gave us time to look around with out hovering). We really did have a great experience purchasing our sofas there!

The saleswoman was very knowledgeable about their furniture and courteous and very helpful. I also must say her patience was phenomenal. Initially my husband and I were very undecided on the look of living room furniture and she was quite understanding and gave us our space as we hashed out our preferences. We will definitely recommend you to all our friends and family. Wilcox also gave us quite a discount because we were Harvey victims! What a show of compassion!
