My objective is to build beautiful, solidly constructed furniture that will survive day-to-day living, and eventually be handed down to your grandchildren. I make each piece by hand, just for the owner. I specialize in modern interpretations of the Arts and Crafts furniture built 100 years ago. Elements such as vertical lines, square motifs, corbels and broad, over-hanging tops are evident in my work. My designs showcase many wonderful features depending on the piece: dovetail joints, cast brass hardware, inlays and accents.
Commissioning Sandhill Designs custom Arts & Crafts furniture results in the assurance of working with a master furniture maker. Bill is deeply involved in every single detail, from concept and design, through production and finishing. Bill Bale is an award-winning woodworker living in Western New York.
