Very horrible service. Was told guys would arrive between 8 and 9 they didn't show up until 1015. Very slow moving, not dressed for the weather as it was a very cold day. We were only moving 6 miles down the road. Took 6 guys more time to load and unload then it took my husband and brother to move just as much stuff. Whole box of glassware completely destroyed.

Will never use this company again and will not be recommending to anyone ever. Shame on this company for sending guys incapable of doing the job and way over charging. Absolutely ridiculous

Absolutely horrible. They sent a truck that was too small and when I called to voice my concern I was adviced that I told them it was a small move. I will never ever use this company again 792.00 for 4.5 hours and 2 guys. BS. I still have to move the remainder of my small stuff myself. Otherwise I would have had to unload go back and have them load the rest which would have doubled the charges!

I was extremely disappointed in the service and lack of response provided to us recently by Morse Van Lines. After having used them several times before in out of State moves, I thought I would patronize them again in a relocation from Alabama to Ohio on June 28 to June 30, 2021. This time to our dismay, the movers damaged and chipped several items including a dining table, bed frame, a large buffet, and a desk.

They also completed destroyed a file cabinet and lamp shade. In addition, we were utterly surprised that they smashed an electrical cord to a deep freezer, by draping the cord inside the chest and closing the door on it. Having noticed a few of these damaged items before the movers left our home on June 30th, I showed the items to one of the movers, named Mike, who instructed me to send the pictures to a cell phone number, which I did.

Although I expected to receive a customer service call immediately, this being the 4th of July Holiday weekend, I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking I would receive a call early Monday or Tuesday morning. I did not. Therefore, I called them on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 and was informed by the person answering the phone (also named Mike) that both Patty and Pam Morse (who we'd been consulting with) were in a meeting and someone would return my call.

To date, I have not heard from anyone from this company. I cannot begin to express my disappointment in their customer service or lack thereof. After having used them for years, and spending an inordinate amount of money on relocations, I do not think it is too much to ask for a customer service call. Furthermore, I would expect that they would want to ensure that they rectify damages done to their customers property. I will not be using Morse Van Lines again, nor would I recommend their service anymore. Dr. K. Williams

I had Morse Van Lines move my large items to a storage unit when we sold our home and then to our newly built house. WOW! What a professional group of people! The rates were fantastic and they were extremely mindful of our belongings and treated everything as if it was their own! I will definitely keep them in mind for any future needs! I highly recommend them!

This is a review for customer service. I called last week to see if they could do a move today. All was good and got it set up. Unfortunately with the snow storm, the driveways needed to be shoveled/plowed, it wasn't going to happen as we were having a huge snow storm, and I couldn't get either driveway plowed (it was Christmas). I called to leave a message to cancel and no voicemail, on either number provided.

So I emailed them. I figured we would lose the deposit since it was last minute, but I still wanted to reschedule with them. When I scheduled the move, she (can't remember a name) told me that the drivers would call when they left the yard between 8-9:30. I never received a call in that timeframe, so I thought, awesome they got my email. At 10:10, I get a call.here's a snippet of the conversation; (Morse): Our guys are in Madison.

I explain not being able to get the snow removed, the calls, no voicemail, sending an email, and that I was told they were going to call before they left the yard. (Morse with attitude): first of all I did not tell you they would call when they left the yard.what email did you send it to? I'm sorry, whoever I spoke with in your company told me that.

And the email on the website. (Morse): well I already paid the guys, so I'm charging you the 2 hour minimum. I wasn't really nice after that. I understand it being last minute, but why is there no voicemail for a business. And like I said I figured we would lose the deposit, but she didn't even try to help the situation. Trust me I want my stuff moved, but I'd rather lose $100 and reschedule than fight a losing battle shoveling 2 driveways before 9 am in the morning.

This is not how you run a business. There should be voicemail in place or some way of contacting them just for situations like this. Plus, check your email! You're a business! Also, if I received that call on the morning of, I could've told them then. We got a lot of snow in two days. It just wasn't going to happen but not for lack of desire. Lastly, I would've still used them for our move when weather cooperated or any other hiccups were out of the way. But, if this is how you treat your customers, then you lose out on our business and money.

Joe & Anthony showed up on time, they took a look at what needed moved, and wasted no time. Took care in moving my furniture. I chose Morse because they have been in business for years & it is family owned. They do not advertise much because have a solid foundation in the community. When I first called they were extremely helpful. I would use again if ever in need because the prices were very fair and less than I was originally quoted.

I will blame part of this on myself, as my lack of knowledge of the moving process. I called Morse Van Lines a week ago to get a quote to help move our big furniture. I made it clear I was on a budget, and we could move some of our own stuff ourselves. I wanted help with the big furniture. We discussed everything item by item that I would want to move. Sandy was nice a friendly and seemingly helpful.

I had read a few positive google reviews. Her quote seemed reasonable, and she said with everything we discussed in our 1000 sq. foot house with should be able to finish within 4 hours. So, I paid the $100 deposit to book the date. I placed a follow up phone call today to Morse to make sure all would fall within budget, since my husband had noticed some negative yelp reviews.

I just wanted to be sure it would all be ok. It turns out they charge from the time they leave their facility until the time they return. So, there is no way we would fall within the 4-hour quote. It would have been fine if I was located closer to them. This had not been made known to me when I booked. I am aware I did not know I needed to ask this question, now I do. Also, I had been told they could take apart and reassemble furniture during my first call, but when I called back, I was told that could not happen within the allotted time.

I am not sure why I had to give the addresses and list all my furniture to receive a 4-hour quote that would be impossible to accomplish. The owner Pam was nice and tried to explain it all to me, but the price would not be within my budget. So, I canceled the move with two weeks notice. They seemed understanding of the reasons, but I only received half of my deposit back, because "they had already filled out paperwork." Be smarter than me and know the questions to ask.

I did find three other quotes today that fully explained these details without me needing to ask. The other companies also would refund the deposit as long as 72 hours notice was given. Morse may do a good job, just make sure you get all the details up front. I wish I had been given this information before deciding and losing money.

Just used Morse Movers and they were great. The two men had to get furniture to the 4th floor of townhouse. They kept moving and got everything in its proper place. They even helped me get felt pads on bottoms of chairs to protect wood floors. Cameron was especially polite and helpful. My only complaint is customer service. The gentleman taking the order seemed distracted and kept putting me on hold. Diane called to confirm 2 hours before she left for day.

I was calling madly when I could after a class finishing at 5:45 p.m., but there is no voicemail to let anyone know I called when I could. She was pleasant when I finally reached her the next morning at 8 and got the move confirmed, but the added stress of not knowing if they were going to be available was something I did not need.

BEWARE.If it doesn't matter that they dump or throw away all your family treasures that can't be replaced and Auction off the Antique family furniture and leave you with a TV and your clothes. This is the Perfect Moving Company for you. I'm 65 years old and it's pretty sad that I have to start all over and have nothing to look back on. Donna S.

Morse Van lines moved us from Wickliffe to Willoughby Ohio. Most stressful of all days. The move took 10 hours from loading our house to unloading at the new house. The truck came to us with items for auction so at the end of the day they couldn't take all of our boxes. The movers were polite but inexperienced. I talked to the owner and she was receptive.

They fixed two items that needed fixing and did a great job. We had two missing boxes which went to auction with the other things on the truck. We got them back after two week. I did get a one hour refund. Would not recommend them.

Morse Van Lines moved us from Cleveland to Boulder, CO in June 0f 2012. We couldn't have asked for a more "Class Act" company. So, when it came time to move back to Ohio in the spring of '17, we called Morse again. The service and quality of their work was abyssmal. They "lost" large items like a whole Drexel dining room chair, part of a cherished 50 year old dining room set.

The framework of a classic 25 year old chaise lounge was broken beyond repair. Many furniture items were permanently gouged. They agreed to pack but missed whole drawers in the kitchen. They agreed to unpack, but, upon arrival in Ohio told us that we would have to $55 per hour for unpacking help. We paid because we are in our 70's. The crew, except for one gentleman named Lee, displayed a constant overworked negative attitude.

When my wife, Nancy, phoned them after the move in May, their response was to send a complaint form, which was never going to restore our respect for them. The company had reportedly changed hands from 2012 to 2017 and had no regard for customers at all or did not understand what their job was.

I have done many moves so far and I am not impressed with the service I received from this company. Unlike many other movers that charge you when they actually start the work, Morse Van Lines starts the clock from the time they leave their yard (and they don't tell you this when you ask for a quote!). So, if you are let's say in Cleveland Heights, you have to pay $$, the same hourly rate that you pay for the moving job, for a driver and a mover to get to your place and then get back to the company's location.

Given that they also charge separably for the "truck fee"; technically, you pay them for doing nothing, just sitting in the truck and driving! The driver had an accident on the road and again they included that time in my charges! The movers were nice folks but it was clear they put little effort into the job i.e. talking on the phone several times during the move etc.

I am new to Ohio and the guy on the phone told me he cannot accept checks from banks outside ohio (such as Bank of America)! so, I had to go to bank and get cash for them in advance. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience! Do some search and you'll find better movers
