Services
In the late 1940's, Teddy Barrow began selling quality furniture from a string of buildings in Red Level, Alabama. Soon, the business gained quite a reputation for being "the place" to buy name brand furniture at tremendous discount and customers flocked to Red Level from all over. In 1979, Teddy sold the business to Tommy Northrop and Will Hall who over the years expanded the business to four locations in Alabama and one in Florida. At Barrow, we have always understood that what a company stands for is far more important than what it sells!
We will load and secure your merchandise to the best of our ability. Since we have no control over the type of vehicle or packing materials for self delivery, we do not accept any responsibility for damages incurred after the merchandise leaves our loading area. We will make every effort to meet a reasonable time schedule, generally providing a two hour delivery window.
Each piece is unique and variations in grain pattern and finish coloration, along with random distressing is expected and provides character to the piece. Wood furniture is susceptible to excessive moisture, severe cold and dry heat. It is best to keep it in a climate controlled space. Be sure to use felt pads on any surface that comes in contact with the surface of your wood furniture. Use cloth placemats rather than plastic to avoid damage. Never use harsh chemicals or any kind of abrasive on any wood furniture.

Great shopping experience, great quality! Bought several furniture items & the sales gentleman named Mr. Charlie was so helpful & kind! There was several months before getting my items due to backup & COVID "but" he never failed to keep my informed every time I reached out to him about any date changes! Also delivery was on time & the older gentleman that was the head of delivery was so friendly as well! Great place to shop! Plus 5 customer service from Mr. Charlie at the Barrow Fine Furniture!

We love our couch from Barrows! We went to so many places locally to find the perfect couch and Cindy helped us find the deepest and most comfortable couch for the best price of anyone else locally. The delivery guys were also great with communication and getting the oversized couch through our entryway. Plus there was no 3-8 month wait that most other places had.

Cindy at Barrows provided very fine customer service. She sent photos to me of the items we were shopping for before we made the drive to Mobile. She is a professional, lovely person and the store is well managed. We are pleased to have found our selection at Barrows. I highly recommend for good, old-fashioned customer appreciation and respect. The store also has a beautiful, soothing environment.

When they say "fine furniture" this time it's actually true. I have been out all day going from place to place trying to find something worth spending money on and this was definitely the place. The showroom is beautifully appointed. The furniture is very high quality. The prices were surprisingly very affordable for the high quality offering. We spoke to Fred, the moat adorably friendly older gentleman who was very helpful and endearing. Overall a wonderful experience. I intend to return for many more pieces from Barrows!
