Made an account just for this: we had the most horrific service here today to the point of being comical. 6+ workers all laying out with their feet up on couches on their phones. We had been in the store well over an hour and done several laps and not 1 person said a word. We had to walk to the front of the store to ask the group for help and 1 man said he'd come help but as we headed over to the piece we needed dimensions of, he sat right back down!

Only on our way out as we were commenting about purchasing from another store did 1 lady put her phone down and rush to us. Even then as she helped us, the rest of the workers quite literally sat on their butts and stared. She was apologetic and offered us a special discount for the rude behavior but still it was the most bizarre thing I've ever experienced shopping. it was like I was being pranked!

My wife and I where very disappointed in the service we received at South Dakota Furniture Mart. We are doing a remodel and purchase a new sofa in August of 2021, the sofa was in stock. The week before delivery we where told it was unavailable and they had given ours to someone else. I am changing my rating to one star if I could I would give them a 0.

They are not conducive to the working population when I scheduled my delivery I requested in the morning delivery and took the morning off work. Now I receive a text 2 days before stating they will be here between 12 and 3. Evidently you need to take the whole day off to get your furniture. Worst experience byuying furniture ever!

Walked in the door and turned the corner. The saleswoman started yelling at we from behind. My back was turned to her and she could have been talking to anyone but she just yelled louder and louder until I turned around to acknowledge her. Then she asked why I was in the store like I wasn't aloud to look around without a tour guide. I will not make the mistake of going back.

What a excellent experience we had today with Kathy Mcquade. She helped us enough but left us alone so we could look ourselves. Kathy also did some magic with the prices and gave us a great deal. We walked in on Sunday at 3:30pm and ALL of the sales people were sitting in a circle gossiping while potential customers walked around the store without a proper greeting. When we walked through their circle they all stopped talking and it was my husband who greeted all the employees first. They in return were not friendly or welcoming AT ALL. In exchange we got the hypocritical smile of " hi, you interrupted our conversation but, hi".

As soon as we felt that energy we turned around and walked right out the store to spend our money elsewhere. To the management of this company, I hope you know your employees are costing you money by deterring potential customers with their awful customer service. First impressions are everything and we will not be returning.

People at the store were nice and helpful, but their extended warranty is an absolute joke. I filed a claim in August and have been going back and forth with the warranty provider (Guardian Protection Products) for the last 4 months, with no resolution in sight. They tell me that they will fix the furniture, then they tell me there are no techs in my area to fix it.

Then they tell me they will replace it, then they tell me they are denying one of couch claims, then they go back to saying they will fix one of the couches, even they don't have any techs here to fix it. It's clear they just give people the run-a-round until they give up, so that they don't have to honor their warranty. Furniture Mart isn't too bad, but their warranty partner is absolute garbage.

WOW! First time I was in this store and its huge, beautiful and has what anyone is looking for. I was greeted right away and taken to what I was looking for, a counter chair. There were so many great options. I only needed one chair, which I was able to locate and it was just the chair I was looking for. I was also given an additional savings for my purchase. This is my place from now on to get furniture. Got 2 of their recliners super good quality and nice blue color, they recline back nice.
