Although they have some very cute and interesting pieces, their customer service was not what was expected for a high end accessory store. On the day I went, there were several designers working and only 2 customers in the store. Neither employees were wearing masks and both were coughing ferociously. Houston air sometimes does that to you. However, neither employee asked if I needed anything as they passed me several times. *note.
I rarely, rarely give 2 stars for reviews. As 1st impressions go and as someone who has tried to go here a few times but barely miss their closing hours, I was looking forward to adding things to my home from this establishment. Customer service is a big plus with me and a quick smile or " Can I help you " means alot to me as a consumer. (2 stars for the beautiful items inside 1 star for the customer service.) Also, if you have allergies or possibly Covid, wearing a mask might be considered important as an employee since customers who see you coughing furiously may decide to exit the store.

I was given a horrible design. They were essentially trying to sell me things from their store that didn't sell. It was a wasted $500. I think they're snobbish. I'm just a hard working software developer who wanted to make my home nice. They didn't provide what I needed. I told them what I wanted and they completely ignored me. I was disappointed

Being here a couple of times. This store is delightful, beautiful furniture and accessories in every corner! Yes, some items are expensive but I think well worth because of quality and uniqueness. The silk flowers are beautiful believe it or not cheaper and better quality than the ones available in Pottery Barn. Staff has always being friendly even on those days where I'm wearing sport clothing, without makeup and a cap LOL.

This store heads up the list of my all time favorite place to shop. While I have never purchased furniture here.we are already "over-furnished".after all of my years shopping here I am still drawn to its quality both in design and construction. My home is filled with so many beautiful decorative items I have purchased here over the years, especially Christmas and Easter collections.
They are true heirlooms which I will always treasure as will my heirs. Their silk flowers are the most beautiful I have ever seen anywhere, and all others pale in comparison to them. They do not have the largest collection of ribbon I've encountered, but the quality is exquisite. The sales personnel do not hover, but they are always very kind and very helpful in every way possible.
No matter what I purchase they carefully wrap it as if it were a special treasure. We moved from Houston to the bay area five years ago, and I still make regular trips back to this store to see what is new that I just cannot live without. I never leave empty handed.

You expect to wait in lines for after Christmas sales, but when you get to the front of the line after 40 minutes and realize it's slow only because the ladies are hand recording every item on paper and using a calculator to figure out the sale you're thinking: what is this 1960? Have you not heard of computers? We got some great buys but that was crazy.

This little store has some really amazing one - of - a kind items. After reading so many reviews about the ladies who work here I thought I'd give my 2 cents. These ladies here are very helpful and knowledgeable about traditional interior design, if you ask them for something very specific they usually can find something spot on. They don't rush you at the door trying to make a sale, and i like that.
I have purchased many things big and small in here. As far as price goes, they might be on the higher end due to the brands of furniture are still made in the USA and great quality. They aren't the most expensive store I've been to for home decor but a little up there. Overall I give them a thumbs up, I like local stores and supporting local houstonians in their business.

I had gone in initially just window shopping with friends right before Christmas a few years back and wasn't quite sure what to expect. But to my surprise, It was comforting and welcoming. It was one of my better shopping experiences. It welcomed me in with all the comforts of home. The furniture was beautiful and the smells from the candles were wonderful!
The store is beautiful and I ended up with a great find. I had purchased a gorgeous comforter. It is still one of my favorite finds for my bedroom. I will go to the Accessory Place every time I or friends of mine are looking for that special gift. I know where I can always find it.

I've now driven in twice to try to order a somewhat expensive desk from this place, and been sent away both times. I was interested in ordering a McKinsey-Dow desk and wanted to see samples of the available finishes before ordering. The first time the sales person couldn't find the finish samples, and the person that "handles" these items was away.
Left my name and number, and they did call back, saying that they had samples and to stop by the next time we were in town. Stopped in today. The sales person said that the samples were in a side room, there was a meeting going on in there, and she couldn't go in. She told me to come back tomorrow! What kind of store is this that the sales person is more afraid of interrupting a meeting than running off a potential customer? If this is the level of customer service before a sale, I can't image how difficult they would be after a sale.

This is a very, very nice store full of very, very nice accessories and furniture for your home. I've been coming here with my mom to shop for years. I can afford inconsequential things from here, lol. They are very expensive. I typically buy Trapp candles from them. My mom is able to spend more than I am so she has a good time browsing and buying.
The sales ladies are all nice enough, but they definitely.have a certain air about them. I would definitely give high praise to this store if asked, but even of I could afford a $1500 leopard print fabric bench I can't see myself spending that kind of money when I can find equally nice furnishings elsewhere for considerably less. But hey, it's all relative, you know?

There are some definite pluses for finding unique ribbon and the silk flowers are nice, having said that, bought furniture from these folks, spent about $9,000 for a buffet and matching piece for a specific home, had it delivered and then found some issues with the home and we moved out of the home, the furniture were pieces that only fit that residence.
Within the 30 days as stated in their policy at that time furniture could be returned (not sure what the policy is currently) but nope they did not honor the policy. Furniture had never been used, we thought because it was hand painted they did not want the furniture returned, but lo and behold 30 days later they had the same hand painted furniture back in their shop. Hesitant to ever put $ in their hands again and yes I do take photos when I go in there, have never been asked not to.
Make an annual trip to Canton, the same planters and other decorative items you can pick up in Canton are 1/10 the cost at this establishment, they all buy from the same decor/gift market in Dallas. This is a pricey store! Staff milling around but not overly aggressive.

Most of their things are expensive but really pretty and unique. I just bought a Christmas wreath for my front door from there. The staff usually hangs around the back which is where you pay.they don't walk around to try and assist you unless you ask. My kind of place to not get hounded while trying to shop.
