I went in to see what they had and was horrified at the prices they are asking for anything! Even the artwork is way overpriced. I guess there are suckers born everyday but I have been looking at both new and used for last three months and finally got some beautiful items from It's New to Me at a fraction of what a couch alone would have charged at Four Hands. It's also like a warehouse, dusty, dirty, too packed with furniture.
The sales people were poliite. To be noted; Yelp for unknown reasons, publishes all raving, positive reviews, so go into the ones at the end, which are all the negative reviews and get the whole story. I guess you can't trust anyone/website to be totally honest. Don't be fooled into all those complimentary reviews. Go in and see for yourself if you don't believe me. Take your business across the street near Taco Bell called "It's New to Me". They carry only quality, high-end furniture sold as coinsignment, some from model homes.

LOVE Four hands retail. First time at the outlet and. it's just Awesome! The furniture is displayed in a way that you don't feel like it's just full to the brim like most other outlet retails. Customer service was great. Austin owned! We will definitely be back! Michelle was SO helpful and has great energy.

Prices are great and with excellent customer service. Michelle goes above and beyond to keep at an eye out for pieces you are looking for. If something comes in she even takes the time to send photos of the piece so you can see any possible damage prior to going to the store. The guys at the loading dock are also super friendly. Can't beat the prices or customer service!

Came by this weekend to check out items for our new house. We were looking to make some potential big purchases, however we were completely put off by the lack of customer service. It looked like there was a team of 5-6 employees who were just hanging chatting about their weekend / what they did last night. Nobody even acknowledged that we were there, or greeted us when we walked in, or asked if we had any questions (we did), and didn't feel comfortable or welcome.

I love this place! Great prices for quality furniture. There's not a ton of local places you can find high quality, new furniture especially when you need something same day or in a pinch. The guys at the loading dock are always super accommodating and I just love seeing what I can find here for a steal!

Four Hands Furniture was introduced to me by a great friend of mine who quickly got me in contact with Kenneth Huerta. He is one of the BEST consultants I have ever worked with. Very helpful throughout my furniture buying process and even provided suggestions on how to tailor my home without being pushy, something I really cherish. He was more than happy to sit down and go through multiple pieces of furniture that I was interested in.
I had an issue come up with one of my chairs that I selected and with out missing a beat, he provided a remedy to ensure I was satisfied. He has done this quite a few times! I hate being "that" person but when I reach out to Kenneth with any issue, he answers promptly to ensure I'm taken care of. Kenneth is leading the charge when it comes to how you treat customers. This is a great place to find quality furniture at a bargain price, and the staff is extremely helpful. Pro tip - call ahead and see when their delivery is going to be, and try to come in shortly after a delivery so you have the largest possible selection. Once we made our decision, Michelle made sure to secure our pick while we looked around at a few other things.
While they don't do delivery, then can recommend some local delivery businesses and get a quote. She even called the delivery guys for us! Also, as of today they are still requiring masks (which I am grateful for!)

It's a pleasant surprise to find a mid-tier furniture store with an outlet in Austin. Deals are hard to come by in this city for this level of quality furniture. Most of these deals are 50% or so off. I've found some pieces that was worth a look at 90%. Stack these with sales (most recently pre-Xmas at 25% off) and some of these will look mighty attractive to those wanting to furnish at a time when furniture orders are being delayed for months across the country.
The selection is quite wide but expect to find dinks and damages on many of the items (hence the discount). I don't think it's a big deal because furniture gets easily damaged anyway so I think it is worth your time to visit this store frequently to find the right deal if you are a fan of this style.

SUB PAR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMNET Placed an order for dining table, chairs, and outdoor dining table in April 2021 and informed us they would get back to us about delivery dates. A month goes by and we hear nothing from our sales rep so I decide to email him about an update. After several days of no response I decide to call and check in.
To our surprise, 6 of 8 of the chairs were in stock, the other two would would not be in until late June, dining table mid July and they didn't have an ETA on the outdoor dining table. But of course, no one had called us to let us know. I informed them to hold the chairs until our dining table came in mid July and they said ok. One month post 1st conversation, they inform us that the 6 chairs that were already in stock were no longer in stock and next shipment wasn't until mid September! THEY SOLD OUR CHAIRS TO SOMEONE ELSE.
Apparently the first rep failed to tell us that all furniture had to be removed within 7 days of arrival. Please read the other reviews on their customer service. They're not just one offs.

UNDERWHELMING CUSTOMER SERVICE & SUPPLY CHAIN MGMT: Ordered a media console in mid July 2020. The item wasn't in stock and I was told it would become available early September (reasonable 1.5 month lead time) due to COVID delays in supply chain. Late August, the expected availability had pushed into mid October. After a multiple iterations of this, we are now in March 2021 and the item just became available.
Clearly no control whatsoever of their supply chain as its now been EIGHT months after purchase (paid in full) and SIX MONTHS late. During the entire delay process, the only bit of information I received was that they were confident in the new target date and I was first in line when the item finally became available. Obviously, after the first couple of times it happened, they lost complete credibility.
After multiple requests to get some sort discount or compensation due to the extreme delays, Four Hands has not done anything to rectify this and all they do is hide via emails and point to" pandemic delays". I understand the world we live in but their peers are living in the same reality. Within this time I have also ordered from Crate & Barrel, CB2, West Elm, RH and NONE of them have been anywhere near 6 MONTH late on an order. If anything it has been a couple of weeks to a month. In those instances, they have made it right as customer service means something to their competitors.

First, I love the furniture - the design, quality, and craftsmanship are outstanding. The pieces are made to last. The outlet makes it affordable for me to purchase high end furniture on a budget that can't afford that kind of luxury. The sales people I've met, Sarah, Gary and Michelle, have all been incredibly helpful without being overbearing and I think they represent the brand/store really well.
They've also given me good decorating ideas. And Michelle made sure I DIDN'T buy bar stools when I really needed counter stools and that saved me from a costly mistake. Lastly, there is a kiosk for Pickupnow. com at the store and I use that to get my furniture delivered and set up in my house. It's easy and affordable and I can get my purchases delivered the same day (to Dripping Springs!) by veterans and delivery men that I am completely comfortable having in my home.

We bought a "Caminito" queen size bed frame here. It was on sale for $413.14. That includes tax. Delivery by a service called Pickup Now was $100. I've seen the bed online go from $1136 to $1320. The thing to know is that furniture is the highest marked up commodity in the US. You can bargain with stores. Too afraid to bring it up? At Louis Shanks, I really wanted this sleigh bed for my daughter.
When the lady showed it to me, I told her I was only planning on spending a certain amount (I don't remember the numbers). She immediately said that they could meet my budget. I think Four Hands might be hit and miss. You might go in there one day and not find anything you like. On the other hand, you might find a gem at a good price. Don't forget to ask for a discounted price.

I am a big fan of this brand and have been scouring the outlet to pick up pieces here and there. I understand that these are outlet seconds but I was annoyed when the guys loaded my dining table onto my trailer, and then slammed the trailer ramp gate and chipped the table. They said nothing because I'm sure they are trained to have no liability but I wish that they let me close it myself or were gentle about that.
The sales people are helpful and will text you photos of available pieces- but be sure to call and ask that they confirm drawers are working or that there are no major scratches to save yourself the trip when you live 1.5 hours away.
