This has been by far the worst consumer experience I've ever had. While the store employees did all that they could to assist me, it's clearly a poorly ran organization. The communication between the store, warehouse and Corp is awful. I even left a message for the owner to call me so I could discuss my concerns with him. But he never called.
We paid for our furniture in full in June and was told that we would get the furniture in August. We ended up getting an incomplete order in September after making numerous calls. Most of the time we were promised call backs and never received them. When we did get them they were still empty promises with poor follow through. While I understand there have been delays with deliveries due to Covid, But this was totally unacceptable.
We decided to support the community during this time instead of going to a big chain. We thought it was the right thing to do. But It's sad to have a store of this size to sit right in the middle of the city and to treat its customers as such. I will never shop here again. Frugal showed me exactly what they thought of me as a customer. They simply did not care. PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE! They have to do better and show people that the business is appreciated. So sad.

The customer service is good but the quality of the products is not good at all and its over priced.i bought a bedroom set from there and it hasnt been a year and my headboard is loosen from the rail.the mattress was squeaking the day after i got it.i wouldnt shop there anymore just my 1300 hundreds dollars that i lost.

I was moving into a new place - and wanted to start fresh with a new bed by replacing my platform bed/mattress. I was looking for a queen set and had been to 2 other stores - found similar mattresses within a hundred dollars of one another. Both had good service. I came to Frugal Furniture for first time and tried out a couple beds - similar in pricing and quality. Salesperson was great - she had tons of info, not pushy - simply helpful.
I was on the fence about which mattress - then was shown the tempurpedic- i think that is how it is termed. I had slept on a tempurpedic before and this felt similar and the price was really low -- get what you pay for but for a queen set plus mattress cover and taxes all came to $720. happy:.:

The worst customer service at this location. It takes 3 weeks to get a furniture delivered. So, I went to the store on a Sunday and was grudgingly met by Claude. Actually I had to go to him at the desk. I had already handpicked 3 possible bedrom furniture I was interested in. *Customer service is NOT OR EVER Claude's strenght. So, I ended purchasing a bed and we set it up for delivery on the 4th august between 9am-12pm.
I stayed home, that Thursday and waited until around 11:30am then I called them to find out what's going on. OMG! my bed had disappeared. *NB ( I had received phonecalls since the 28th of August that my furniture had arrive and I would say to them" well I had made arrangement for it to be delivered on the 4th August"). After that it was back and forth all day.
I have omitted quite a few parts if not I will be writing a thesis on this store. Anyway, the warehouse got involved and a bed was dispatched to me by 3pm. The gentleman who came to assemble the bed was very nice, especially hearing that I had just moved to Boston and was in need of my bed. Also special thanks to Vernel at the warehouse (forgive me if I spell your name wrong:)who was just so nice.
He kept me informed and called after delivery to find out if I was satisfied. NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE please teach those people at the Mattapan shop some. Thxs in advance.
