Sleep-Rite Mattress & Futon

Very disappointed with expensive furniture I've purchased from this business. The website claims that the furniture has a one year warranty but it's a lie and they won't honor it. I bought an expensive pull out couch that had issues with one of the couch cushion's Velcro causing the cushion to lean forward and feel very uncomfortable to sit on. I attempted to fix the Velcro myself but to no avail so when I asked Boston Bed Company if they would fix this with the warranty their suggestion was for me to fix with supplies from the Home Depot.

The point is this should have never been an issue in the first place. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this company with how expensive the furniture is and with Russian roulette quality and then not honoring of the warranty.

This place is a total scam. Sold me a frame with the wrong installation instructions and wouldn't accept a return even though I brought back the frame which was unused. GO TO MATTRESSFIRM FOR BETTER QUALITY PRODUCTS.

Thank you Boston Bed for actually having beds in stock! This pandemic has wreaked havoc on supply chains, and big companies such as IKEA and Macy's are unable to supply beds. Even another local firm quoted me a 6 month lead time. I walked into Boston Bed in Stoughton having lost all hope of actually having something to sleep on, but Wayne quickly found me a great bed and a great mattress, and arranged for delivery four days later.

I paid for the delivery guys to assemble the bed, which was money well spent - they did it in a flash, and saved me probably an hour's work. The bed looks great, the mattress is incredibly comfortable, and I am a very satisfied customer.

My Daughter moved to Boston for grad school where her rented apartment came with mixed size bedframe and too large mattress for the frame. Landlord removed it all, by request. Got her a new bed with storage and NEEDED a mattress. Wayne to the RESCUE! He graciously answered my questions and concerns over the phone (I'm 1,200 miles away) and welcomed my D to the showroom to help her find just the right one for her needs. Mattress was selected, paid for, and delivered the next morning!

The delivery men were fast and TRUE PROFESSIONALS! INDEED, the stars aligned to meet a very special person placed in our path to help. Angels DO exist! Heartfelt thanks to Wayne and his team!

We had the greatest experience with Boston bed company from start to finish. Wayne was incredible and made moving my son to Boston so easy. I highly recommend using this wonderful company for your bed needs.

We originally thought this was the best place to buy a new bed. We went into the Stoughton Store and the manager was very nice and friendly. We bought a Cobblestone Mattress with an adjustable frame. When we left the store I noticed he charged us $100 more then we should of been. The king mattress was 1799.99 we were charged $1899.99. Once we got that issue straightened out the bed was delivered.

Within the first couple weeks one side of the mattress gave out. We called the store who turned it over to the factory. Andrew came out looked at our bed n said he needed approval for a replacement. SUPPOSEDLY, he got it and they gave us the wrong mattress. One that can't support the adjustable frame. They were making a new one that would go with the adjustable base.

This has been going on since June 10th and I was promised a new mattress. First it was being made, then the factory staff was short handed due to July 4th Holiday. Now he doesn't return my calls. My mattress is collapsed now and we are out a large sum of money. DON'T SHOP HERE. THEY PROMISE YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR AND DON'T DELIVER! Should of known how this would go when we were overcharged in the first place! They DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I recently graduated from college and was going to be moving into my first apartment all by myself. One of the first things I needed was a mattress. I had such a great experience looking around and the employees were extremely helpful and funny. They first asked what kind of bed I preferred and was able to narrow the endless options, down to around 3 mattresses.

I quickly was able to find the one I liked and that was that! A couple weeks later, I had the mattress delivered to my apartment. The guys were very professional and made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this store to anybody that needs a new mattress, bed frame, or futon. I love my mattress and tell my friends they should go here to get one!

They were nice. They delivered the futon frame and mattress that I had bought on time. Then I discovered that converting the frame into a bed was much harder than advertised. I suggested to them that they take back the (brand-new) frame, if I bought a smaller frame AND a less heavy mattress from them. (I understand they can't take a mattress back once it's out of the package.) They said no, they couldn't do.

I just bought $1000 worth of stuff from them. I think it's not right for them to refuse to take a brand-new frame back within a day of delivery. I will probably try to sell the frame and mattress privately, no doubt at a steep loss (if I can do it). Then I'll buy a new futon frame and mattress, but of course from a different store. If you buy a futon frame and mattress from them, insist on trying the PRECISE combination that you are buying in the store before buying it. They won't warn you if the combination that you buy doesn't work for your purpose, and they won't help you afterwards if it doesn't.

My wife and I purchased a queen size mattress and bed frame from The Boston Bed Company and couldn't be happier. The salesman at the showroom was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helped us pick out a mattress perfect for our room and budget. We will definitely be buying from them in the future and I recommend them to anyone buying a mattress or bed frame.

Recently my family & I moved back from California in the midst of the pandemic when everything was close. I called Boston Bed & spoke with someone by the name of Andrew & this employee remove all of the anxiety from the experience with a warm, , patient personality.and he demonstrated a wealth of knowledge & professionalism including with products and services that didn't involve his store. Shopping here was an amazing experience made all the better by Andrew. M

If I could give this company zero stars I would, I bought a mattress from the stoughton location which was delivered with a stain and a pungent smell of chemicals. I notified the store immediately and I was told that they where going to look into it. This company does not stand by their products and they continue to stall in rectifying this issue! I paid over $1000 dollars for this mattress I am truly disappointed with the mattress and the company!

I can't say enough nice things about this company. They were incredibly helpful and kind. It's so nice in these difficult times to find a business that was able to get us exactly what we needed (plus free delivery) so quickly. This is why we should all buy local. We had our bed picked out yesterday afternoon and delivered the first thing this morning. Thank you so much, Boston Bed Company!

I bought my bed frame and mattress 3 years ago and both are holding up great! I forget exactly what the mattress is called, but I know it's a firm Therapedic. I had originally debated getting one of those fancy online mattresses, like a Casper or Leesa, but I'm so glad I went with this--it was less than half the price and still amazing quality.

For the first two months the mattress felt slightly slanted, like my head was higher up than the rest of my body, but that issue went away with use. Now it's just fabulous, and the bed has survived two different moves! The movers even commented on how sturdy and well-made it is. I guess my only regret is not getting a fabric headboard. The corners of my wooden frame are pointy, but I'm sure there are ones at the store that aren't like that--there's a huge selection.

Just something to watch out for when you're choosing! Also, shout-out to the blonde woman on the sales floor who helped me out! She was super attentive, funny and informative. I really wanted a mattress that wouldn't move when my boyfriend got out of bed, so we conducted experiments on each bed where I would pretend to sleep and she would bounce up and down next to me on the mattress to see if I could feel it (I couldn't!). We had a great time!

Just moved to the area and got our bed from Boston Bed Company. Love the bed and they were great. Our arrival to the area got delayed and they were incredibly flexible about adjusting their schedule to make our delivery when we arrived. Highly recommend.

In this day and age of getting everything delivered on line. Well do yourself a big favor and go into a Boston Bed location. These guys actually make there own mattresses right here in good old Massachusetts! No pressure atmosphere and most impressive by far the best quality for the price, well because they make them and sell them directly to the public.

I spent about $600 for everything, and it's a supper comfy bed and I've been loving it since it was delivered. So do yourself a favor and and get into a Boston Bed location and start having sweet dreams right away. Stay clear of the mattress Wolfe's that exist in most mattress stores! Thank you thank you thank you Boston Bed.you guys really are the BEST!

I had been putting off replacing my mattress but I finally ordered one online from Boston Bed. Never even tried it out but the price and time was right. This new bed is far better than the old one, which I paid a lot for! Hands down, best purchase I've made in years!

What a fantastic place to do my 1 stop shopping for my new apartment. Purchased a futon frame, queen mattress/platform bed, chest of drawers and coffee table. They had a great selection and the prices were fantastic. I dealt with Wayne who was super pleasant and informative. Delivered everything the next day, right on the time frame which they had given to me. i can't stress enough they're 1 stop shopping. Highly recommend them.

I'm surprised by the overall rating not being higher, though I suppose people with bad experiences seem the most prone to write reviews. Anyway, I've gone here four times over the years, starting my college days, and continuing on to my time with a family. In fact, my queen mattress lasted me 17 years and was well worth the price. They have a nice selection in-store for both bed frames, mattresses and some furniture as well.

I found the furniture a little pricey, but solidly made at least. The mattresses are great, as are the beds, and the in-store staff has always given me great customer service and let me lounge around trying all the beds until I found the right one for me. All four times I've bought with them, either for myself or for my kids, the delivery men arrived on time, quickly assembled our beds efficiently, and everyone has been happy with their beds. A good local company to support.

We came here for convenience and thought we'd take a look. Ended up buying their allegedly best queen size and a twin same alleged quality. I'm not even sure if the mattresses delivered were what we ordered but here we are now about 1 year later and it has become apparent that this was one of the single worst purchases in my lifetime and I'm 63 years old. Both are pure junk crap. AVOID - you've been warned.

Okay, going backI found BBC very easy to work with. The salesman was not pushy like up in my throat to make a sale. He was very informative, very attentive, was able to make easy but related conversation and broke down to every detail. The best part of this experience was the fact that he knew about other brands and showed me comparable mattresses. I felt so comfortable that I ended up buying my bed frame, mattress, bed sheet and my pillow for a very good price. Thank you Boston Bed Company.

Buyer beware Boston bed company has terrible quality and does not stand behind their products I've had one of their queen size mattresses for one year and asked them to come and see why it sagging their customer Service is not available at all and they refuse to come out to even look at my bed YOU Have been warned stay away

Best mattress I've ever slept on. No more back aches in the morning. Very hard to get out of bed and go to work in the mornings! So glad we came here and the guy was so informative.

I bought a (for me) expensive bed from the Cambridge store. I had serious issues around the quality of the bed. When I went back to the store with photos and an explanation, the woman who runs the place was beyond rude. Almost abusive. Not sure if she's the owner or an employee, but I've never been treated so badly on a customer service issue. Basically told me to screw. I did. Next stop is the Better Business people and the Consumer Protection office for the state. Don't go near this place.

Phenomenal experience dealing with the people at Boston Bed Company. They were a pleasure to deal with every step of the way. I have zero complaints and would not hesitate to deal with them again in the future.

I really can't praise the staff at this location enough. I don't think I've ever had such excellent, genuine service. The man who helped me was named Charlie and he's a great person. From the moment you walk in, someone is there to help you. They ask what you're looking for in terms of size and softness/firmness and then show you some options and let you test them out.

What stands out to me is that--as other people have mentioned--they absolutely do not try to sell you the most expensive mattress just because it's more expensive. They're very upfront, very genuine, and it's clear that their main concern is to help you find what's right for your comfort and budget. This kind of low pressure, honest salesmanship is so effective, because I have nothing but fond feelings for this store as a result.

The mattress I chose is very comfortable given the reasonably affordable price. I've been enjoying it for the past month or so; unfortunately I can't speak to its longevity yet but fingers crossed. The main draw of this location is definitely the stellar service. Every employee was so genuine in their desire to help and so focused on meeting your needs instead of getting more money from the sale.

They gave me the choice between delivery ($70) or taking it home right away (free; plus they carry it out and secure it firmly to your car for you). And even in this instance, it was clear that they wanted me to take the best option for my needs and budget. The staff was even helpful with things that weren't mattress related! Just in making small talk throughout the process, I got recommendations for phone services and the job market! It's the most customer-oriented, genuine service that I've ever received and even after a month, I'm still floored by how positive this experience was.

I thought that buying from a local manufacturer would result in good quality and less false advertising. Unfortunately, the quality of beds from this company are low. Sagging starts quickly despite claims that the bed is firm. Do not buy from here if you want a firm bed that lasts.

Charlie was very helpful. In relocating from nyc, i needed to replace my 10 year old mattress. Even though it was close to closing, he was patient, helpful and low pressure. Everything about the bed (memory foam) is awesome. Highly recommended.
