We specialize in touch-up and repair. We make chips, dents, dings, and scratches disappear. Touch-up always costs less than refinishing. Our expertise extends to all woodwork, commercial or residential. Many moving companies use our services to touch up accidental damage to pianos, bedroom furniture, and dining room sets. New furniture stores use our services to repair items that have arrived with shipping damage.
We have been doing custom refinishing since 1978. Our repair firm was chosen to restore many of the antique furniture pieces in the Utah State Capitol building for the Capitol's Centennial Celebration in 2008.

I had our dining table and chairs refinished by Classic Furniture in November 2021. Every time I look at my table I am in awe of the fabulous job that they did. My table is more beautiful today than when I purchased it. They did an amazing job and I am so happy with the results. Susan was my customer service rep with Classic and she was wonderful.
The guys that picked up and delivered the table were professional, pleasant and careful with my table, the walls, etc. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with everything. They are the best. Thank you so much for giving my table a new look.

This place saved me! My friends had just moved into their new place and furnished it with all new furniture and I accidentally ruined their bedside table (that took three months to arrive). Learned my mistake real quick- don't ever put a bottle of leaky nail polish remover anywhere near wood! My friends are extremely particular and so I was nervous about color matching and thought about just replacing the whole table which would cost me close to $500, but the shop assured me they were confident they could do the job.
Upon pickup, I couldn't tell which was the one that was repaired. Side by side, the color of the bedside tables looked completely identical- not a single shred of evidence that it had once been stripped of its enamel and color! I asked if they had painted both, but nope, just the one that needed repair, and they somehow matched the color perfectly. I was so relieved and impressed. Thanks again!

I had a solid cherry dining table that had sustained some damage over 30 years of serving as the place for all family projects. I loved the table but was uncertain if the damage could be repaired. Martin was able to come to our home for an evaluation and recommended that he take it to the shop. Less than 2 weeks later, the table was returned to me in like new condition.
I would not have believed that it was possible for the table to ever look that good again. I highly recommend their services because of their extraordinary skill, fair prices and honesty.

We have an oak table that had a whitewashed finish. The table was still in good condition but definitely needed to be updated. We took the table to Classic Furniture and worked with Steve. I wanted the table pedestal, legs of the chairs, and the backs of the chairs to be painted white, and the table top and seats of the chairs to be stained. Steve was very knowledgeable about refinishing oak and his workmanship was impeccable.
He invited us to come to the shop throughout the process to make sure we were happy with the progress. Steve did not just have us choose the stain color from a chip sample, he actually took the time to stain a portion of the table so we could make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Finally, before he sealed the table, we were invited back to ensure we were pleased thus far. We are beyond pleased! It looks like a new table and we are thrilled! We highly recommend Classic Furniture Services for furniture refinishing or repair!

I am beyond pleased with the work and service provided by Martin and his team at Classic Furniture Service. They made the process seamless when emailing, scheduling a pickup, offering a (very) fair price, and dropping it off. They had our couch re-webbed and added a new dust cover and touched up the wood trim, all in 24 hours! I was shocked at how quickly (with such high quality) they had it picked up, fixed, and delivered back to our house. Plus, they referred me to a trusted upholstery cleaner.
The couch they fixed is a family heirloom, and I am so happy with how it turned out. Now it can stay in the family for many years to come! If there is a waiting time in hearing back from Classic, DON'T WORRY. They'll get back to you. The service and end product is well worth any wait.

My sincere thanks to this group of talented people for their dedication and commitment to excellence in their craft. Martin, Shane and their craftsmen did an incredible, almost impossible job, reproducing intricate carvings for a severely damaged mahogany dining room set that belonged to my grandmother and grandfather. The set is c1920s and was damaged from Hurricane Harvey (Houston).
These pieces sat in 18 of water causing many of the carvings to break off and warp. Some pieces were completely missing and the wood finish was damaged from humidity. Somehow they were able to recreate these missing pieces, restore the damaged parts and bring back the life and luster to these precious pieces. I can't tell the difference between the original and reproductions.
This is the 2nd time they have been able to save damaged furniture. The first time was restoring a severely damaged and delicate antique English curio cabinet and an antique farm table with a broken leg. Here are some before and after pictures. The blue line shows the water level. Look at the refinished chair back: ones side is original and the other is a reproduction because that side was completely missing. Can you tell the difference?

We had a cabinet and cedar chest refinished/restored. Both turned out beautiful and we could not be more pleased. We live north of Salt Lake City and they agreed to pick-up and deliver and they furnished two/three strong men to do the heavy lifting. We were also asked if we would like to come to their shop in Salt Lake City to verify the stain color after they had completed the sanding phase and it was interesting and helpful for us and them. Martin, the owner, and his crew love restoring and repairing wood furniture and you can tell by the craftsmanship they show.
