Super friendly, very informative and has a good price tag for good quality. The selection for trail is great.

Over the summer, I stopped in to purchase a futon mattress, it was only my second time buying a new mattress and I didn't really know everything to look for. Unfortunately, I purchased a very firm mattress that ended up being very painful to sleep on. The first couple of weeks of sleeping on the mattress, I needed ice packs in the morning to lessen the pain on my shoulder.

Because the mattress was so uncomfortable I also purchased a very expensive topper to make sleeping more tolerable and I also bought a 1 coconut coir pad to help as well. The mattress was unusable for more than 2-3 hours each night, because the pain was unbearable and I just ended up sleeping on my couch. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because the mattress cover (un-bleached cotton with natural flecking) was good quality and seemed durable and there was no odor at all associated with the mattress and I appreciated that.

I had a lot of reservations about the mattress though having boric acid as a flame retardant. I brought this up on my initial visit and the owner downplayed it and said it was totally fine, but upon doing more research I learned it can be toxic and cause respiratory problems. Boric acid is listed under the EPA as a pesticide; used to kill ants and other bugs.

In the end, the mattress was not a good fit for me and I recently decided to give it away. Also be aware that ALL SALES ARE FINAL, even if you've never opened the mattress and it's still brand new, inside the plastic bag, fully wrapped. I had to learn the hard way. Since then, I learned to do better research and ask more questions before I make a mattress purchase. Customer service also could have been improved, owner was defensive toward me when I spoke with him about my concerns. Overall, disappointed.

It seems I dropped in to check this shop out a dozen years ago, the guy made these really elaborate bean bag type chairs, I think this was mostly me looking into my neighborhood, By the time I was done talking with him I knew I might not afford the chair or structure I wanted but that what he did was very neat and that I was not the only person who wanted such things, he was very informative and had plenty of history to share. I recall this about twice a year and wonder why I never shared this neat experience.

Great selection and prices. If only the owner would wear masks when talking to customers in person. I would of felt more comfortable shopping here. It's still covid times please mask up!

The products are high quality and reasonably priced. The service is excellent. My nephew (who has autism) still loves his pillow chair I bought 5 years ago. My futon still looks and functions like new after 4 years. I contacted the store recently to ask how to clean a cat pee stain out of the fabric and they responded immediately. Wonderful local business!

I bought a mattress from Robb's about 6 years ago. Called to find out how long it would last. He was great. Said I had a 10-15 year life. The mattress is still great. Just was wondering if it was time to replace it. It's a latex, flip able mattress!

I bought my mattress from Rob 8 years ago, and it's been a great solid mattress. I have loved it. I am downgrading it to my guest bedroom, still has plenty of life left, and getting a bigger bed for my wife and I and am definitely going back to Rob's.

Nice display space, knowledgeable and helpful associates. Good prices. I like the home like setting, much easier to visualize the furniture in your home than in a regular showroom!

Futons are all comfy and he was open on Veteran's Day. Wide range of options at all price ranges; you pay for the quality. Most work is custom, if you live in town you can have products adjusted etc. after purchasing.

We bought 3 big pillows for our son to play and sit on. We used the heck out of them for many years. They held up so well that we passed them on to a second family with small children. They still looked new when we gave them away. The pillows are so well made.

Don't think that everything you see in the front room is all that's there - they have a big warehouse full of so many different types of futons. Happy and humble family business. They deliver and can make custom covers.

Helpful and friendly staff. Met Robb and his wife, they hand make their extremely comfortable pillow seats and futon covers. Reasonable prices and I love the futon frame I purchased. Would recommend my friends and family to purchase from them.

Everything FUTON is here at this store. We were looking for futon covers cuz u know used futons can be sketch and u wanna have it wrapped w/something new, good and YOU. Robbs has it all -- futon covers can be custom made or you can select from a nice selection of pre-made ones. The saleswoman was very very helpful and we had a terrific experience. Rob's mattress design helped my special needs child get a better night's sleep and even the teachers at school remarked about the improvement of my child' focus as a result. This is a dedicated business with heart and soul.

I found a wonderful futon mattress at Robb's. This quaint house on River Road has a nice assortment of futons on display, in addition to pillow furniture and simple bed frames, futon frames, and bunk beds. I prefer a futon mattress to a traditional spring mattress to sleep on. Latex mattresses are nice, but out of my price range. At Robb's, my husband and I were able to test several styles of futons and found one that was very comfortable, had nice loft, and good craftsmanship.

Very affordable prices (compared to traditional mattress sets) and the packaging was compact and easy to transport in the back of our vehicle. Service was casual and friendly. There is definitely the quintessential Eugene local business flavor here. I liked how this business supports and provides autism and special needs furniture, too.
