I've been to a fair amount of antique stores throughout the country, but this one rivals them all. The collection of unique outdoor items is unparalleled. The interior section is surprisingly large as well as it feels like you are in a maze with more interesting pieces around every corner. I'll have to admit that I've been trying to go here for years, but rarely find myself in Newport during the week from 10-4, but I'm glad I got to finally stop it.
One of the salespeople, Harrison, was very friendly and informative as well. He also mentioned that Aardvark Antiques will do personal, custom castings as well. Like someone else mentioned, bring your checkbook though. The pieces housed here aren't your run of the mill things.

Incredible collection of large architectural components. Both inside and out. Unusual collection of antiques throughout the interior. All laid out to flow you through the building. Don't forget to look up. Many amazing items hanging from the ceilings. We found a great charcoal rubbing framed picture that goes well with one we already have. This place is not loaded with little trinkets as many other places are.
It's almost as if they followed the "go big or go home" idea. So pick your day, leave yourself some time, and take your time strolling through this great collection. Hopefully you'll find something wonderful to take home!

Very interesting salvage shop, they have beautiful pieces that you can tell were salvaged from beautiful estates. They have: Statuary, wood work, stained glass, chandeliers, silver sets, tea sets, crystal barware, vintage bars, antique desks, antique toys, vintage clothing just to name a few items. There is a surprise around every corner. It is truly a treasure hunt that you are guaranteed to find a treasure of some sort. We loved it, just allow yourselves plenty of time because time flies when you are in there if you are a lover of antiquities.

Beautiful statues and inventory of large unusual items. Not a lot smalls in this shop. It is along trip for most buyers and they don't allow the public access to their rest rooms. That was turn off for me. Truly impressive unique large inventory however it is not what the vast majority of antiquers look for. If you want large statues and never need to use a toilet after a long drive then this place is maybe for you.
