Beautiful furniture and very helpful nice people. Good prices too. Love my new couch!

My wife and I bought a solid oak table table, 4 chairs, and a bench from this store 12/30/21. This is the first piece of "real" furniture we have ever purchased, and it is such high quality it could no doubt last for generations to come. Grzegorz was extremely helpful answering all of our questions. The store manager went to great lengths to protect our items and tie them down in the back of our truck for safe transport. Everything about our experience shopping at this store was fantastic! I couldn't be more happy with the purchase!

Funny how when you walk into a store they seem to think that you can't afford what they have in there which is incorrect. I walk through the store and when I was probably almost like 3/4 of walking through the store then somebody approached me ask if they could help me. That should have been done in the beginning that's what customer service is all about. I won't go and make my purchase there.

We had a great experience with Idea Furniture, I had purchased a sofa for my son's bedroom. It looks absolutely beautiful in his room. The store has beautiful European Furniture. Sales person Gregg was very friendly and professional in helping us with this purchase. Thank you again for all your help!

A really great place to purchase sofa bed and sectional with option to sleep. We order sofa bed in washable fabric and sectional in 100% italian leather customized size for special order. Sales person was very professional and designed sectional exactly as we wanted. Furniture arrived from Europe earlier than we expected! The highlight was the delivery team who could not have been more professional. We have been very happy with the sofas we purchased and get so many compliments from our friends and family visiting our new designed living room and guest room.

My whole family and I have been shopping at IDEA for years now. We have a variety of products from the store ranging from chairs, tables, furniture, and sofa beds. Everything is truly the best European quality. Not only are the products stylish and unique, but they are practical, non-toxic, and durable for years to come. We've never been disappointed with any of the products.

Just a few days ago, we've purchased our 3rd sofa bed from them! On top of that, the staff are really nice and accommodating, helping you with anything you need both in English and Polish. Highly recommend this store to anybody.

WOW! Great customer service. I worked with Pawel and he helped me find the right furniture for my living room. The product itself is an excellent quality. The couch transforms into a sleeper; You'd never guess looking at it. Very modern and sleek. He moved furniture around so I can see how the coffee table looks next to the couch I was buying. Then the delivery guys come. 1 was a marine.

They helped me move furniture around so everything was just right. Then he played a music for my family on our piano before they left. Such great customer service. Such great people. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Great customer service. We were very indecisive about what we wanted, but the team of workers made decision making a bit easier :) Also: the store is very dog friendly;) Highly recommend coming here for all furniture needs! Update: We received our new couch from Idea, and we absolutely love it. It's very spacious to fit everyone comfortably, and it's an overall comfortable couch!

As you can see by my second picture, our four legged child here agrees! I think it's safe to say he is the biggest fan of our new couch. He tested it out in stores (first picture) when we shopped (which they were more than welcoming to have him in as a little customer) and loves it even more now that it's in our home and he can call it his.

Greedy and rude store management, overpriced and over advertised products. Paid almost 4 grand for the furniture but wasn't provided with free delivery (to local address). My expectations expressed to the store manager ended with rude response lecturing me with F.O.B. type of statements like: ".this is the U.S.A not Europe.etc". No respect to customer whatsoever.

I should have give up this purchase. My mistake I didn't and swallowed all of this. I just wanted to buy what my wife liked and make her happy. My store stuff experience was fairy positive up to the moment when I started to feel like I'm getting ripped off $$$ on the product I'm trying to order. This is because my (marginal) furniture customization requests started to be priced too high ($$$).

In addition to this, store stuff become to contradict herself while presenting the product features. Proudly advertised retractable "sleeping function" had been quickly renamed to "foot rest" when I indicated it's design flaws. The furniture was described to me like "space industry product", which always look excellent, resistant to daily use, stains, water washable, scratch, cut, sunlight, kids proof.etc.

Basically whatever I asked for I was answered, that it's proof of :) Once I took decision about placing an order, they were trying to sell me extra ($$$) furniture cosmetics to remove stains, discoloration or keep furniture in some impossible to describe logically, superior condition. Why I should need all this stuff when this what I am buying is resistant to everything I can think off? :) The furniture, which I finally purchased (w/o custom changes and cosmetics package) become not so excellent in the reality.

In the 2nd year of daily use the mattress deformed from the original shape, upholstery fabric worn unevenly and changed color. Sleeping function retracting mechanism started to stuck occasionally. All the failure symptoms are typical for European mid range class furniture products (IMHO). They just here receive all the hype and blessings for the supernatural product :) I don't think I'm going buy there ever again. I've learned my lesson already. For sure their competition take advantage of this.

Idea has some really interesting and unique furniture designs - if you like a sleek, European aesthetic or are short on space this place is worth checking out. The showroom has a good amount of items to consider but know that there are also catalogs with tons of other choices if you don't see what you want. Most items get ordered from Poland so be prepared to wait 8-12 weeks in some cases.

There are lots of different levels of quality and price points - that said, I thought prices were pretty reasonable. One thing I especially liked is that their items do not contain added chemical flame retardants - it's not required in Europe and the chemical off gassing is bad for you (trust me on this one, I work in the industry). Anyway, the staff here is super nice and not pushy at all.

If you have a minute, let them explain/show you features that night not be apparent at first glance. A lot of items have hidden storage, sleepers or adjust in ways that typical American furniture doesn't. We're considering a bedroom set up from them and I seriously covet one if the rugs they have. I'll be back.

Wonderful selection of European furniture. We had a wonderful experience with our salesperson. If you're looking for something unique and well made this is the place. Like Room & Board and RH, IDEA has high quality, design focused furniture. However, IDEA's look is more unique. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, modern and practical european furniture of great quality. There is no other store in the city you can find this variety of sofa-beds, dining sets and bedroom furniture. Tried other " Italian furniture " stores and they don't even compare to this one. I found the service very friendly and informative. Definitely coming back.

My initial experience at Idea Furniture was a bit unpleasant, but the manager did remedy the situation. They delivered me a defective sectional (there was a piece of broken particle board on the base). I contacted them immediately and was informed that they could either replace the sectional or give me a $50 store credit towards another purchase. Obviously, I opted to replace it.

With the holidays approaching, I was told they would get back to me with a delivery date. After about a week or so, I received an email saying that they would like to repair the sectional but they wouldn't be replacing it. This confused me, as we initially agreed upon replacing it, not repairing it. After speaking to the manager, he offered a few solutions: 1) Return the sectional & receive a full refund 2) Accept the repaired sectional "as-is" 3) Wait for a replacement sectional and use the repaired sectional in the meantime I opted to wait for a replacement sectional. Hoping there are no issues with the next one!

Superior service and selection. In addition to store showroom they have very wide catalog selection. There is something for everyone to choose. We bought kids furniture set there and after it arrived we were even more happy than we thought we would be. The quality is outstanding and the furniture looks good. The style will allow my kids to keep it for a long time. I have more furniture I have to buy and I will definitely go back to Idea furniture. Highly recommend this story.

Great Showroom! Lots of designs and unique styles. Beat sofabeds in Chicago! The wife found what she was looking for!

Customer service is really slow and not helping at all. Most furnitures are overprice. They sell some decor which is overprice as well. They even have one vase that looks very similar to the vase at HomeGoods store - but the one at HomeGoods costs around 60% less. I would never go there again.

(I just want to update the situation itself versus giving another rating which Yelp requires me to. Since the previous star rating is discounted and only the newly updated one is counted, I still keep the same rating as I previously rated.) We've made a handful of trips to Idea in regards to the chairs we purchased as mentioned in the previous review, in attempts to get some comparable chairs with any new stock they might have received.

Since there wasn't any new stock the last time we went, the manager tried to situate us with some new chairs of the same price they could order from the catalogs they had on hand. After us flipping through the catalogs for a while and finding nothing we were interested in, the manager decided to offer us a refund. I figure he saw the situation with us would only continue to perpetuate as it already has for several months.

He didn't make us bring the chairs in to receive the refund either which was nice. After three weeks of that last visit, we received a refund in the form of a check via postal mail. It was a prolonged battle to find a fair result, but I'm happy the situation was finally ironed out.

Fantastic European selections, particularly for sofas and living room chairs. Many fabric or leather options. While the staff are not warm and fuzzy, they are pleasant and extremely helpful, providing a great deal of information about the pieces. They are also willing to work with you to help you select the best color and fabric options for your space as well as loan or give you fabric samples to try out at home.

In addition, they work with you on exchanges when your purchase does not work for your space. I recommend this retailer if you like European (Polish) furniture. I will also add that if you do not purchase an in-stock floor model, shipment takes about three months.

Owner trying to sell old, used furniture as a new one. I bought a bed and waiting for it 8 months, when they deliver it to me i saw that bed is the one that stand in the shop for couple of months.
