I called before coming in to make sure they had replacement bulbs for my tree lights and they sure did! The gentleman that helped me knew exactly what i was looking for and he explained the sizing and everything. Really great customer service and helpful tips. They also have such a huge variety of trees, indoor and outdoor decor. Definitely recommend coming by!

Hubby and I have been looking for a new patio umbrella, did our research and went shopping. Our first stop was at Mil Green, they had a tremendous amount of quality inventory of both umbrellas and all things patio related Alan was extremely knowledgeble about their products, answered all of our questions and pricing was more than fair. First time dealing with Mil-Green even though I had known about the store for many years. We had our original purchase from Wayfair delayed by 2 months. My wife decided to stop in to see what they had. Well, we went in and bought all new deck furniture. it was delivered in 2 weeks. Many thanks to Alan and Scott who were very helpful. Just left this place for the over priced furniture they had atleast show better customer service, we asked for help and felt like the guy didn't care to help us. We liked a floor sample he said it was sold! I asked do you have anything similar? He replied well go look around! We felt discriminated against and left.after noticing all white people were being helped and followed around by a sales person. Never coming back again.

Needed to get a new Christmas Tree, and love to support local businesses & stopped in to look. They have an incredible tree display. Lit & unlit trees. Alan helped us choose our tree and explained all we needed to know to set it up. The customer service here is top notch. They even brought the tree outside & placed it in our car. It literally took me under 10 minutes to unpack and set up. I highly recommend this local store.

This is an update to my review of 9-21-17. Based on comments from the store, all my multiple emails may have gone to the junk folder. They did send me the pieces free of charge and I appreciate it. In order to avoid this issue in the future, may I suggest that you update your standard operating procedure to review your junk email box regularly.

I worked with Scott to pick out new furniture for my bluestone patio. We selected a teak set, Breezesta andirondack chairs, a hammock, and a grill. Scott spent so much time with me answering questions about everything. And he really helped me nail the color of the two tone andirondack chairs; check out the pictures they look amazing. I can t say enough about Scott's service both before and after the sale - truly first class and he's a great source of design advice.

Carefully read your receipt at Mil-Green - I was overcharged and then treated poorly when I questioned the associate (and part owner?) Alan Arden. Walked out feeling horrible yesterday when I returned 4 patio furniture covers I had purchased 2 weeks earlier. In making the return, I discovered there was a charge of $27.99 for a 5th cover (I only have a 4 piece set and needed only 4 pieces - Alan was also the person who helped me select these pieces 2 weeks ago and he saw the pieces and their dimensions in a photo) and another $0.99 charge for something else on the receipt (this store has nothing I can see that costs $0.99).
I do realize it was my responsibility to check what I was being charged for initially.something Alan Arden told me in very direct terms. When I commented that he overcharged me, his reply back was gruff and something like "so why is this my problem." His tone and reply definitely got me angry and as I got a bit more heated about the 2 charges, my credit card was thrown on the counter back at me once he processed the 4 items I brought in for return.
So I am stuck paying for the mistake that was made, but more importantly left feeling lousy. While this was a small transaction and $30 isn't going to matter, I hate to think what others who still might decide to shop there and plunk down big dollars will encounter as far as service is concerned. Seems like this sort of store should differentiate itself with superior customer service vs. the big box stores that sell patio furniture at significantly lower prices, but that doesn't seem to be of interest to Mil-Green.or at least to Alan based on my experience yesterday.
Others have also taken the time to post their own stories of dealing with Mil-Green. I guess that's what makes Yelp a good forum for keeping people informed. I tried to keep this fact-based and keep my emotion from coming through, but hoping that those who read this will take notice and consider alternate options (Norbert Pool & Patio is less than a mile down the street).

Maybe ok for items that don't require service. For BBQ they will refer you to a person who can install outdoor BBQ but this person does not show up. you wait & you wait. for ever! If you can install the BBQ yourself, great. If you want service, look elsewhere because you cannot depend on this store for service after sales.

Not sure about the complaints of rudeness people have made about this place; maybe there's some surly employee who is there sometimes. But we went in to browse patio furniture, the two guys there were perfectly friendly, asking us if we needed help, not following us or pressuring us or anything. We didn't end up getting anything, but I'd definitely go back.

I'll keep it nice and simple. Beautiful furniture but the worst customer service ever. Bad Attitude and rude behavior. I had one guy stand in my face and ask what I wanted as if I was gonna Rob them or something. Well screw them. I spent my money elsewhere. And to top that all, they are expensive as hell. At least give someone a reason to spend that much money in your store.

In the past I've bought outdoor furniture at big box stores. While the price has always been reasonable, the quality has been sub-par. Last year I went to Mil-Green and picked up a replacement patio set and WOW - what a difference! Last summer my friends kept asking me where I had gotten my new table. I pulled it out last weekend and it looks just as good. I'm looking forward to many more compliments this summer!

ABSOLUTELY RUDE SON "JOSH"! My mom and I went 2 weeks before thanksgiving looking for some help with fireplace doors. Being new to shopping for that type of thing I looked to the co owner for help! He told me what type of doors I needed and how to go home and measure! Once I did that, I called back with measurements and was told about a week to get them in and 2 weeks to be installed! (It took 4)!
When the doors came to my home with installer they were NOT the correct doors for my fireplace! I was told they would reorder the correct doors! And again.the wrong size for what I needed thanks to the guidance of JOSH AGAIN! 3 weeks later after calling and returning doors, I was told THEY COULDN'T HELP ME! This went on from nov.12th to jan.13th! Terrible attitude and bad customer care!

My husband and I spent weeks going from store to store, trying to find the perfect artificial Christmas tree. Finally, we found one that we absolutely loved, but we learned it was out of stock. I got online and, fortunately, found the same tree at Mil-Green--and it was the ONLY place I could find that had the exact same tree. So, I called to verify that the tree was in stock, and it was.
I ordered it on a Sunday, it was shipped the following Monday, and it arrived at our home in Texas on Wednesday afternoon. From start to finish, the guys at Mil-Green (Brian and Josh) were amazing. They were so helpful and friendly. Josh even called me on Monday to tell me that the tree had shipped and to let me know that he had sent me an email which provided the tracking information. Super customer service, and the tree is beautiful!

After a experience purchasing an outdoor furniture set from a lesser competitor that rusted the same week we purchased it (ack!), we checked out Mil-Green. Although they had some more reasonably priced items, I decided not to skimp this time and went more for the mid-grade. their prices were competitive when I compared apples to apples. We took delivery of the table, chairs and umbrella.
Found a scratch a chair after the delivery guys left. Within a a couple of days they had it exchanged out. Hardly a question asked on their part. Great service and we couldn't be happier.

If you are looking for patio furniture, a grill or grilling equipment, and you want good prices and wonderful service, this is the place. As a new owner of a house with a yard, the husband and I have been scouring the city an surrounding 'burbs for patio furniture. We wanted something nice, sturdy, and didn't want to drop $2000. Luckily we found Mil-Green.
We stopped in this afternoon, and much to our surprise found they were having a sale. A nice sale, not the 10% off crap some places try to float. We had a fairly large selection of patio gear to chose from in a variety of prices, and wound up getting what we needed and more. The staff was friendly and happy to assist. We learned that in November they switch over to holiday decor sales, so between now and then all their patio furniture will continue to be discounted.
