House Down Town

I visited The House Downtown last week and I was so impressed. The new showroom is gorgeous and the designers said they were getting even more items in over the next few weeks. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and eager to help me with my home design projects. They have amazing taste and great ideas. So excited to get started.!

The sale's person this afternoon was so unwelcoming. She did not show any interest in our entering or exiting the store. She continued her conversation with a person at her counter mentioning how this location did not receive many walk-ins which the company did not need anyway because it is doing so well. I am glad for this store to be so successful. It is however sad to see the most basic respect of another human being being lost there.

For someone new to home design, I thought the process would be intimidating. However, after multiple friends had recommended House Downtown, I finally relented and went in. Stephanie and her team were very easy to work with - they walked me through the process, helped me make decisions, and really went the extra mile to make me comfortable with the process.

They even made some great suggestions on colors that were more timeless, and even found ways for me to stretch my budget further. With an amazing design in hand, work has begun and my house already looks incredible. Stephanie, you should be proud of your team - and you have one more person out there to recommend you to others.
