Quality craftsmanship on their products. The guys that came to deliver and set up the crib sets we're super nice, professional, and knowledgeable. This will be my baby's first crib and wouldn't go anywhere else to get a crib set from.

It's hard to find a custom baby/kids furniture place. They carry high quality lines. None of this box/assemble/veneer stuff from big box online retailers. It's the last store of its kind left around here. You can see the samples/finishes, see the merchandise and get personalized service.

We received excellent customer service from the moment we walked in the door. Ron was patient and used his years of expertise in helping us select the perfect baby furniture. While very expensive, the quality is like none other. During delivery, the team was kind and helpful and provided us with thoughtful tips. As new parents, we couldn't have asked for more. The furniture is beautiful and great quality! They are very helpful with any questions you may have and kept great communication while we waited for our order to arrive. The delivery men were also very knowledgeable about the furniture and explained everything we needed to know about caring for and cleaning it as well as converting it as our baby grows.

They also have a wide delivery range which was a blessing for us since we live in Champaign. I was very happy with the whole process and definitely recommend this family-owned business to anyone looking for high quality and personalized customer service.

My mother and father in law were gracious enough to spoil our unborn son with this amazing furniture. To be honest I was a little hesitant to go here because of the price but the quality of the furniture it unbeatable. It is extremely high quality and I now understand why it is a little more expensive. I know this will last our son basically.forever!

We did have to wait about 12 weeks for the furniture, I was happy that we went to look so early, just a tip for planning because it was well worth the wait. The two men who delivered the furniture were outstanding and so helpful. They moved stuff around for me so that I could see different angles and also had suggestions for how it could look better with the space that we had. I highly suggest getting your kids/babies furniture from here, our little one is already so spoiled! **I will attach a pic when it's all done

We didn't go to the store, because I found the furniture I wanted online and just ordered through Lil Deb n Heir. But we had a great experience with delivery. Jason snd Ron came on a Sunday and were incredibly careful and attentive to detail. We had a very difficult stairway for them to take up a large bed frame and they spent tons of time planning and trying things to get it done without damaging the furniture or our home.

They helped us get just the right set up in the bedroom and were very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. They made a second trip out the following Sunday when the final piece of the order was delivered. Great service!

Best place EVER! I feel like I got the BEST for my baby - without paying a lot. Everyone there had SO much knowledge of all of their products and also how it compares to other products out there and why. I am so excited. They really listened to us and answered all our questions before our first baby came. They really care about their customers individually. There wasn't a question they didn't answer of mine and they were so patient and caring. The quality is incredible, and their products are very unique. We love it there!

It's awesome to find a small store like this where everybody is so nice and helpful. Shopping for baby furniture can be very stressful with emotions and expectations very high but Li'l Deb-n-Heir made us feel great and we left the store very happy. Had not placed the order yet but they do have a lot to choose from. Highly recommend

I made my first purchase Li'l Deb-N-Heir the first time I went in there. We spent over an hour with the lovely lady who helped us. It even went past closing time. She educated us on the different brands and options. Never pushy to make the sale. She was so patient and gave great advice. We came in just to "look" but was so happy with the great service and love the nursery we picked.

Knowledgeable staff. Great assortment of high quality furniture. My daughter's bedroom set will be hers for years to come.

Period! Now let's get to the service. It goes something like this.the time is around 6 pm. I am converting crib to twin bed. A piece of bed was missing.

I notice that store was closed but decided to call any way. Store manager was working late and actually answered phone. I explained my situation. Without hesitation he finds an extra piece in back of the store and 1 hour later he is at my door personally delivering it. Oh yeah. I forgot to mention.it was Sunday night around 8pm at this point! I was hesitant to shop here after reading some mixed reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. I've been here a few times in the past few months to prepare for baby #2. The staff was helpful, prompt and courteous. They were great with communication - following up quickly to emails or phone. The furniture arrived and it was perfect and - more importantly - on time!

Their selection is quite large and we found something in our price range (which was much lower than what we spent at another local store for baby #1!). Overall, I was really pleased and would definitely go back.

I'm really happy to see another great review on Yelp for Li'l! We almost didn't even stop in because of the other/older reviews that show up on Google. We drove out to Naperville from the city primarily to visit another much larger store in the area (super disappointing btw!) and figured we might as well swing by Li'l while we were closeby.

As Heather said, gorgeous, quality furniture, hence the "expensive prices" mentioned in other reviews. My husband and I visited several other stores (a total of six), however, and Li'l is highly competitive pricewise with the manufacturers they do carry, they just carry more high quality (and again, costly) brands. If you don't want to pay more for a high quailty crib, I'd recommend going with a more affordable store or a chain store.

The customer service has been wonderful - we're spoken quite a bit with Dawn, who greeted us immediately upon arrival, was very knowledgable/helpful, and ultimately the one that placed our order, as well as Trish who fielded a lot of questions from us throughout the process and has been in contact with us about our order status. We placed our order before President's Day and they kept in close contact with the manufacturer to ensure we still received the holiday weekend sale deals.

Another huge factor in our decision to go with them is the extended warranty they sell - for a very reasonable charge you get a 5 year warranty that covers all sorts of stuff - accidents like your child deciding to use the crib for teething, one of us leaving something on the dresser and staining it, etc and it is a per order charge not per item (brilliant!).

Oh and paying less in taxes by getting the heck out of the city was a nice plus too! Our furniture will not be delivered until next month but I am confident that the rest of this process will go as well as the start and wanted to write a review now before I forgot! If you're closeby or considering the drive to Naperville, I'd highly recommend you checking out their store!

Gorgeous furniture but you do pay for it. Having said that the reason for writing is customer service after the purchase. Outstanding! Unfortunately I had a issue with the stain on our crib and dresser. This was like 6 months or so after delivery. The pieces started turning a blue color! I called and Trish asked me to take a couple of pics which I did and she promptly sent someone to take a look.

We ended up replacing the dresser and part of the crib. It did take a long time but I am very happy with the results. I was never given a problem and they could have given me plenty of excuses as to why it was turning blue. Thank you Lil Deb-N - Heir! Bravo on a stellar performance!

My husband and I stopped into Li'l Deb-N-Heir yesterday. Upon our arrival there were two employees at the counter talking to another couple. No one greeted us so we helped ourselves and browsed the entire store. We finally decided to leave and still did not even get a "goodbye" or "thanks for stopping in" from the two employees standing right by the entrance/exit.

I do not believe it took two people to help the other couple but even still a "hello" or "I will be right with you" would have been okay with us instead of being completely ignored. With that type of service, we will shop elsewhere.

We stopped in here while visiting family in the area and were really impressed! It's hard to find stores these days which carry higher end items that you can touch and feel before shelling out the cash. Since we know we want a really sturdy, long-term crib that's made of all-wood and not overseas, this place was a treasure for us! Yes, the prices are expensive, but the quality, artisan goods justify the price tag.

For what they sell, their prices are totally competitive. We have a similar store near us in WA and the difference in the attitude of the staff was remarkable. There's one nice lady at the store here, but the others are a little rude and you get the feeling they assume everyone is a browser and not worth their time unless you're decked head to toe in designer labels.

The staff at Li'l Deb-N-Heir was 180 different, they were incredibly helpful even though they knew we were from out of town and not going to buy anything that day. We were there for at least an hour testing out gliders, reading up on cribs, etc. and the staff was really attentive but not at all pushy. We are actually contemplating ordering our crib from them to be shipped here if the price is at all comparable from ordering through an online retailer. Customer service matters, and this place gets it right!

This place can be your worst nightmare (pricing) but it certainly can lead to some very sweet dreams. I purchased my children's furniture here when the store was in Berwyn and now back for (YIKES) grandchildren's. They really have some outstanding collections and items you will not see at other stores. It is very QUIET and I can visualize grandpas sleeping away in the comfy gliders while decisions about how his money will be spent are being made.

I did not have the same experience as the other reviewers. The staff are rude and not very helpful. A very disappointing experience given their beautiful products. Even though, they had impressive merchandise, I was hesitant to make a purchase. Mostly because I was not confident that if I'd happen to experience a problem in the future that I'd have a satisfactory customer service experience. Anyway, I went home and looked them up on the Better Business Bureau website. I was right to think twice before I purchased from them. Take a look for your self.

Beautiful, yes. Pracitcal, possibly. Affordable, not at all unless you are a Fortune 500 exec. Seriously though, we went in here when my son was born and they make you feel like you have stepped into Parenting Magazine, or Better Homes and Gardens - sure why not with an iron vintage inspired crib that with fittings was $3000?

The most gorgeous children's room decor in the universe, and a pricetag to match, but check it out if you have the means. They've got the cool-looking old-fashioned buggy that is not practical at all. The staff are so helpful, and they really don't mind browsers. The furniture is high-quality, and the bedding lovely. Although. I shudder somewhat when I see the "Financing Available" sign in the window when I drive by. The image of apartment dwellers making payments on a $5000 nursery comes to mind.
