Sorry to disappoint but we're just so busy putting together great things for our clients, we really didn't have any time to sit around coming up with cool stuff for ourselves.

Contacted Barney's to see if one of their technicians could install a new electrical harness for an adjustable bed. I not purchase the bed from Barney's. I had no luck finding anyone else to do the replacement, including from the manufacturer and original store where I purchase the bed: Select Comfort/Sleep Number. After a year of trying to get Sleep Number to assist with this issue, I was told I needed to contact the manufacturer, Leggett and Pratt.
After contacting them, they had no technicians in the Springfield area. This is odd, because they have people that will come and set the bed up when you purchase one. So, once Select Comfort has your money, they have no use for you. Barney's, on the other hand, was able to help, even though I had not purchased anything from them. I had the harness, the technician came out and, after 20 minutes, I had a bed which had not functioned in over a year, now working perfectly again. Very friendly, excellent service.especially since I was not actually a Barney's customer.

The staff is very nice and helpful and the furniture very high class. However I can see why they're going out of business In Springfield. They are very expensive even with the closing sale. It says 40-60%off but all I saw was 10-20% off, if that. It didn't seem like a huge price drop on anything other than small pictures. Even clearance was super expensive. Maybe the smaller thin gas were on bigger sale but I didn't see anything.

Items promised in January not delivered until March. No communication from store - had to repeatedly call and eventually ask for our money back. It was a terrible experience. They offered a discount at the end as an apology for their poor service, which we appreciated and accepted, but we will never do business with them again.

Paid 2k for a couch and loveseat. Both were junk and were falling apart within a year. Called about warranty claim on reclining mechanism and the store refered me to warranty company that told me the furniture was not covered. Paid 200 dollars for warranty that was not worth the paper it was wrote on. Store will not stand behind their product.

My husband and I were in the market for a new mattress set. When we arrived, we were instantly approached by a young man, "Hey folks! What are you looking for today?" I said, "Nothing, thanks." I really dislike being pounced on. Greet us. Say hello. Don't pounce!? We made our way to the bed display area, and weren't pleased to see that nothing was marked with any sort of pricing.
I feel that's pretty shady. What keeps a salesperson from setting any price they choose? This was enough for us. We left, and won't likely be back. It's important to us to feel we're being treated honestly and we didn't feel that at Barney's. Even used car dealerships have some sort of price on their vehicles!

Furniture is very cheaply made. I had my sofa for less than a year, and my friend was leaning against the arm rest, her feet still on the ground, and the wood snapped. I have sat on arm rests with my legs dangling on more than five different sofas and I have never had the wood break. When I called to talk about it the manager was extremely rude and unhelpful.
He kept insisting that arm rests are for arms, and not to sit on them, he even mentioned how this has happened to other pieces of furniture and he had to tell this to other people as well. He insisted his furniture was well made, but a well made sofa has a stable arm rest that can support someone leaning against it. The sales people are also fairly pushy.
I have had some friendly sales people, but other times they were pushy, so the people are a toss up. I bought a mattress that came with a box spring, and the first day I had the box spring the dust protector started falling off. My old box spring of 20 years never did that, so I regret having them take it away. If you don't want your furniture to break, go somewhere else.
