Love my new gas fireplace. It was a new installation with venting to the outside. I believe install took 3 to 4 days. One of my favorite things done in my remodel. Looks original to the house. Everyone was nice and professional from the very first time we walked into the store until the final project.

We had a great experience with Northwest Metalcraft. Their prices were very reasonable and the fireplace we chose looks beautiful. The installation took three days, during which every member of the team was professional, easy to work with, and very meticulous. The brickwork and mantle look exceptional, and You wouldn't believe the fireplace came with the house as opposed to being added on. It is a direct vent unit. We could not be happier. Highly recommend.

Scott at Northwest Metalcraft did a great job refacing my fireplace. There was a little hiccup in the process where materials did not arrive after the job was started. They installed a temporary solution and when the materials arrived, they returned and completed the job. I've been getting BBQ stuff from them for years, but this is the first fireplace experience.

High quality workmanship, and stood behind their project to make it right. In the service industry how you recover from a problem is what separates good from great. This company is great. Would not hesitate to recommend them to friends looking for a new or replacing a fireplace. I almost never post reviews, but when you get great service, great products and pricing to match, you can't go wrong here. Thanks again.

Mark and I have purchased a few things from Shane and had a few repairs done by Brian (a broken rib on an umbrella) and Vince (a few squeaky patio chairs). Dan listened to our concerns and made sure the little things wrong with a recent purchase were addressed. We always feel welcome in the store and know that everyone working there strives to communicate with us to make the experience enjoyable.

We've used Northwest Metalcraft over the years for all kinds of things such as patio furniture, grills, mailbox, etc. We've always gotten quality merchandise at a fair pice with great service. Most recently we purchased a patio conversation set, fire pit and new Weber grill. As always, Dan and Shane were great to work with throughout the process. We highly recommend Northwest Metalcraft and will continue to give them our business for all of their products and services.

Purchased a smokeless fire-pit for my husband for the holidays. Everyone was friendly and knowledgable during the process, providing helpful tips. Brought the fire-pit home, used three times and were not satisfied with the product or results. I first called the manufacturer to see what could be done. They explained that they would accept the return, so I called Metalcraft and told them the situation.

The owner called back, and without hesitation, simply said to bring it back and they'd issue a full refund. And that was that. Could not have been an easier process! I perused the entire store when I returned the fire-pit and gotta say, this is a great store with loads of options! I had no idea how huge it was. Will definitely keep in mind for future purchases. In the meantime, I sincerely appreciate them making the return so simple!

From browsing the show room to installation, 5-star experience all the way around. Ron installed mantel pieces and a new glass door to really upgrade the look of our fireplace. Highly recommend.

Our experience at Northwest Metalcraft was very positive. We ordered a table and 6 chairs for our patio, and from the time of the sale to delivery, the service was prompt and attentive. We didn't feel pressured while walking the sales floor, and really felt like they wanted to work with us and get us a set that was the right fit for our budget and space. When we had a slight issue with one of the pieces delivered, they got us a replacement, no questions asked, and did so in a timely manner. Wonderful store to work with!

Worked with Shane in the showroom on picking out a new gas log set, custom doors and new mantel. He showed us all our options and suggested a kind of door we didn't even think about that was higher quality at a comparable price to the ones we were looking at originally. Ron came out to do the initial measurements and walked through mantel size options, he got everything exactly as we wanted. John and Kevin then came out to do our gas line and log install.

They were so quick and efficient and walked me through the changes they made to our existing gas line. Ron came back to install our doors and mantel once they were ready and once again, was very professional and efficient! Everyone we encountered was always friendly and helpful. They gave us their professional opinions as well as took into account what we were looking for to execute all pieces perfectly.

Not once did we feel led astray or taken advantage of, we only wish we would have upgraded our fireplace sooner! Very happy customers and will not hesitate to recommend to our neighbors for their fireplace needs.

We were very pleased with everything about NW Metalcraft. Prices were less expensive than other stores. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in picking out our patio furniture. We love our tropitone furniture. Would definitely recommend to anyone shopping for outdoor furniture.

These guys are amazing. Stopped in for a fire pit. The owner personally helped me and ran to get me a new one out of the warehouse so we could have it before noon same day. Highly recommend.

So I'm cheap. I've has the same patio set for 28 years. And it was well past time to refinish it. My wife thought I was crazy. Why not just go buy a new one at the end of season but I ask you- what could I buy for under $1,000 that would have lasted 30 years yet alone another 30 years? Problem is no one in Illinois carries much in terms of patio materials so I was forced to buy off the web.

Which is fine but I don't know what I'm doing and so I ended up with a test purchase where I found the rivets were too big! So thankfully, I found this place. Wonderful! They have two floors of patio furniture and grills. The biggest collection I've seen. AND they also have a small inventory of parts and GREAT customer service! See I still wasn't sure on the parts. Not like I could match what I needed from a catalog. They lent me samples and gave me a very fair price. Thank you guys! Brian in particular!

Got suspension frames from our outdoor furniture re-strapped. Brian was responsive and helpful on the phone and gave me the price and explanation of what they do. I love fixing things if possible, and he fixed it! Great work and we've got perfect outdoor seating again. Highly recommend!

Worked with Zac S. on quoting & installation of a grill in the Chicagoland area. Zac was unresponsive for extended periods of time and to be frank down right rude and unprofessional. I would take your business elsewhere, dealing with Zac isn't worth your troubles.

What could have resulted in a huge disaster ended up turning out so much better than I had imagined. Weather caused our fireplace to turn into a giant fish tank (don't ask). Removing it without disgusting water spilling out which would damage carpeting and the floor was obviously the preferred outcome and would have been difficult for anyone, but Scott and his team managed to pull it off perfectly.

Not only that, the fireplace was taken out without damaging the wood surround, even though I was prepared to have it rebuilt. Communication was good and they worked around my crazy schedule. I couldn't be happier with the result. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience from start to finish with Northwest Metalcraft. Shane was easy to work with and promptly returned my calls/texts. The delivery men had quite a job bringing a large fire pit up 3 flights of stairs to my roof deck. They did so efficiently and without any damage to floors or walls. We have been shopping at Northwest Metalcraft for years. Family owned, knowledgeable/informative/courteous staff. There is plenty of patio furniture and fireplace/firepit options to choose from. Competitively priced. This year we added a set of comfortable wicker furniture and 13' cantilever umbrella. and replaced the cushion on the Kingsley Bate glider we bought from NWMC in 2004 too!

Can't recommend NWMC high enough! We went in just to see what the cost would be to change our woodburning fireplace to an insert. Were pleasantly surprised at the price. Scheduled us within 3 days to come install and clean our other direct vent fireplace. John came out and called when he was going to be early. Did a great job of keeping everything clean, and the insert looks GREAT!

He was very professional, and after cleaning the other fireplace, it too looks brand new! Couldn't have asked for a better experience both in the store and in our home! John even took the information from our direct vent fireplace so that if we ever have any issues with it, they have the model and brand written down so that they can help! Even though they didn't originally install that one! Thanks so much John and NWMC!

ACTUAL MIRACLE WORKERS! Where do I being to sing their praises? If you have ANY fireplace issues, CALL THEM! I had 23 year old Heatilator gas fireplace in my L.P. Townhome that wouldn't hold a pilot light. Every other fireplace repair wanted to charge me $135 just to come tell me Heatilator doesn't even make the part for that older model any more.

They all said I would need a newer gas fireplace for thousands of dollars. Not Metalcraft! Nicky said to me, "our guys are geniuses, if anyone can fix it we can." She was right on. John came and took a look and told me he would try to see what kind of part might exist out there. Didn't charge me. Came back a few weeks later, having gone to big box store, looked at furnace parts, and created a way to use one in place of my busted thermo coupler.

He made it work and in minutes, I had a working 23-year old fireplace again! Total was under $200. Can't compliment these guys enough. Honest company that works hard for you as if it were their own home. Totally reasonable pricing. Don't be fooled by competitors who tell you there's nothing they can do but take your money. Metalcraft, you and Nicky and John are the BEST!

I was purchasing logs for my wood burning fireplace. Gas line was already there. They were efficient in scheduling things the technician Kevin arrived when they said he would. He was very professional in completing the job and explaining how to run the fireplace. The only downside I thought they were expensive but worth it for the excellent customer service.

I was VERY happy and impressed. I needed our gas fireplace serviced, and after calling a few other places that never answered or called me back, Northwest Metalcraft scheduled me for an appointment right away, the tech was right on time, and he was very knowledgeable and fixed our problem right away. I highly recommend them!

Came out to service our Weber Grill. Tech was super friendly. He knew what he was doing. Worked quick and efficiently. Have used them in past years and they never disappoint. We purchased our grill from them about 10 years ago. Great service!

Re: gas insert. My wife and I were looking to plug our oversized fireplace opening with a gas insert fireplace, which seemed to be an issue for a variety of companies. However, Scott and the rest of the team provided us with a variety of options tailored to our situation. true professionals. From the initial in home visit through the installation, everything was seamless and pleasant. Given another opportunity, I would skip the fuss and head straight to NWMC.

I just moved into a new home and wanted to upgrade the 20 year old fireplace that was missing a bunch of magnets and screws for the door and screen. After finding paperwork and realizing that it installed by Northwest Metalcraft, I called over and asked if there was any way to replace these parts, rather than buying a whole new facade for the fireplace.

I stopped in and talked to Shane, who was awesome, and explained to me what I needed to do to identify the pieces for him. Went home and got the info back to Shane and he ordered the missing parts for me. Best part was when I went in to pick up the parts there was no charge! Super nice guys there and SUPER HELPFUL. I would imagine most businesses would just try to up sell a new facade, but Shane not only helped me with the tedious job of finding new screws and magnets of a old model, but helped pay it forward for this single dad!

We were building a new house, and unfortunately builder didn't have the stone we were looking for the fireplace. We asked the builder to install the firebox but hold off on the stone. We shopped a number of places, ultimately selecting Northwest Metalcraft to provide the stone and installation. It was a two day job, with three people. Pat Shogren, with help from Tom and Chris did an excellent job and we were completely satisfied. Highly recommend this company.

I just had my old fireplace doors replaced. Northwest Metalcraft did a fantastic job. I was at there showroom in Jan. They sent a technician out to my house a week later. Ron took measurements to design & install my custom made doors. He told me it would be six weeks to make the doors. Exactly six weeks later he completed the install. He was done quickly & his work was immaculately clean.

I was anxious to get it sooner but they were right on with their time horizon. Price was fair but they won me over by their service. It seems like a family run operation. I'm satisfied
