Storkland Juvenile Furniture

Love storkland and working with John. We have bought all three of our kid's furniture here.

We got a cool crib for a baby born niece bought here. The quality was perfect. The people were awesome and very helpful in choosing the perfect furniture you need.

Wife and I custom ordered a glider and ottoman that they said would take 6-8 weeks to get in. That was fine, as we knew we wouldn't need it right away. When the chair came in and the associate helped me load it into my truck, I asked about the ottoman, and he told me that we did not order an ottoman. I was kind of surprised because we had spent a lot of money on the chair and I knew for a fact we ordered the ottoman.

He seemed upset that I questioned it, and we went to go look at the sales receipt. Sure enough the ottoman was on there as paid for. He didn't know what to do and said he would have to talk to his boss. I was frustrated because I had already paid for the chair and it was a custom fabric. I was told that they couldn't speed the order process up, and that it would take another 6-8 weeks to come in.

They called me several days later and said they could refund some of the money, but I feel like they didn't refund enough for the mistake that they made. I will not do business with them again and suggest you look elsewhere.

Absolutely loved shopping and buying here. John was great and after his help we didn't need to go anywhere else to look. Highly recommend you shop here. You won't be disappointed.

It has been a couple of months now, but went in to inquire about a watch battery (which they also apparently do). Employee (maybe the owner?) was with a man and a woman when I walked in. He did acknowledge me and asked what I wanted. When I said "I need a new watch battery" - it was almost like he could not be bothered. Very rude and said "Well, that will be at least 45 minutes or so before I could do that." So, this was my attempt to support a local (probably declining) business - and that's what I got.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience here. The guys were very helpful and thoughtful. They helped us find exactly what we wanted. Worked with us and got the room ready for baby. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We bought our baby furniture from Storkland and it was the best experience I could have ever asked for. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the time we first walked and throughout the whole process. Our baby furniture has stood the test of time with going through two children, and it still looks beautiful. I would highly recommend Storkland to anyone looking for high-end, sturdy furniture for their little ones.

I had a GREAT experience at Storkland today. My husband and I looked all over Birmingham for a crib for our nursery and were very disappointed in what we found. Our friends told us about Storkland and we made a last minute trip to check it out. We didn't make it to the store until 45 minutes before their closing but you never would have known that by how helpful the gentlemen were who helped us. The service was as amazing as their selection! I have finally found some great high quality options for our nursery and can't wait to go back and make a final decision.

Great Experience at Storkland. My husband and I went in 3 times to figure out what furniture pieces we were getting and were pleasantly greeted each time. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. Storkland does offer a moving company to move your items to your home for your- best idea yet!
