The people there are really nice the furniture is beautiful anybody who doesn't know about Amish furniture needs to remember two things. Amish furniture is very heavy and very pricey take it upon Pennsylvania girl from Amish country it is worth the money is well made is the type of furniture you hand down for generations.

Update 1/10/20 - Review has been updated to 5 stars as Richard with Amish Oak made contact and sent John out to get this corrected. John was very nice and friendly and explained what he had planned to do beforehand. We are very pleased with the remediation effort provided by Richard and team at Amish Oak in Texas. We purchased the West Point pedestal table and jelly cupboard roughly 2 years ago. We constantly get comments on both pieces of furniture. Nonetheless, the pedestal has a slight defect that drives me crazy. When it was constructed, a number was written on it. I see this number every time that I am sweeping. We had thought about buying additional items and figured we would mention it to one of the sales representative to try to comprehend why this was done or what it even relates to.
The lady behind the counter pulled up my invoice details and had me explain everything to Richard who was the VP. Richard asked me to then email him a picture of the marking on the pedestal when I got home. So, I took a picture and emailed him. I followed up with another email about a week later and have yet to hear back. My wife and I don't currently have kids nor would we write on furniture that we own. With the lack of response/explanation back I don't foresee us buying anything further from you.

Last year I had a great experience at Amish Oak and purchased a dining set I just love with an expensive barn wood table. When I went in for their Black Friday sale this year I realized that the store is under new ownership and customer service is no longer something they value. I fell in love with a bedroom set but everything seemed very shady when the price listed didn't get the sale even though the add said "everything." They took it back to full price and then offered me 35%.
I was disappointed but I really loved the set. When we got to the register we were there for hours and the sales associate could not figure out how to input the sale. We left with the promise that he would figure it out and we would return. When I got a call later all of a sudden the price had gone up $800 because now he was only giving us 25%, and then 10% (which is NOT the same as 35% as promised).
I was prepared to spend over $7,000 for this set but tagging on an extra $800 was the last straw. The associate was kind but the management is horrible. How can you treat your customers this way? If this is how they treat their customers who have previously spent a lot of money in the store, I can't imagine how they treat other customers. I will no longer be giving my business to this store.

This is a very nice furniture store. You can see it from the highway. It's also very expensive. The man who helped us showed us a desk from their website, but was $7399. He said their orders take 10-12 weeks to make. I don't want to wait that long for a desk. They had what seemed like every type of wood you can imagine behind the counter. Also, you had 30 choices on what type of finish you wanted.
The guy showed us a catalog. I told the man thank you, but this is well above what we want to spend. He said they get that a lot. It's worth the money if you want to spend it, that's for sure.

Our oak table top that we had for over 7-years suddenly cracked for no apparent reason. Possible that it was from the extreme temperature change as it happened soon after the snow. Amish Oak in Texas was so very helpful. They had the friendliest delivery/pickup guys. And, while sad that my son's homework imprint was not going to be on/in the table they replaced the top of the table. Customer service was wonderful! We will be back soon to buy another piece of furniture!

We have purchased in this store many times. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME they input the wrong price into the computer and then want to charge us more. Beckie, the sales associate has been unable to help remedy any solution on her own. Today, we've had enough. Unless you can buy something off the sales floor, this store is NOT a good place to deal with. Their customer service rates below zero. Not trying to be mean, just trying to help customers who are will to pay for good quality furniture a headache from dealing with the incompetence level there.

The Roll Butter is Jesus in Amish form. Best butter I have had in LIFE. I never knew amish butter was so good. I tried it at a family members house and had to have some. I cannot speak on the furniture but the butter, ohhh man. Perfection. I will definitely be returning for more amish snacks and butter. A+!

It may have taken 6 months, but on the 3rd try, they produced a table leaf that is passable. It is close to the right color. The delivery men adjusted the leaf so that it would fit. The edge is close, but not quite the same. We are pleased that the table is ready for use. We would buy from them again because the furniture is beautiful and well made. But know that it takes lots of TIME and PATIENCE.
