Casual Dining & Bar Stools

We've been looking all over san diego for some dining room chairs that would match a custom table. All the stores have the same types of furniture and we were really discouraged that we might not be able to find some thing suitable. Then we stopped at Casual Dining and barstools we were greeted by John who has fantastic knowledge about the materials and the construction of their furniture.

It was really a pleasure to speak with him! Needless to say we purchased our chairs and we can't wait for them to arrive! We were so happy with the service we received and selection within this store! Thank you John for all your help!

We walked into Casual Dining & Bar Stools and immediately we were greeted by John. We showed John pictures of our kitchen, so he could help us select the perfect barstools for our kitchen island. John showed us different types of barstools that would be a great addition to our kitchen and he was very patient with us. John has a good eye, when it comes to color coordination and has the experience to know what type of barstool, would compliment our kitchen.

We stopped by my many different furniture stores, but John's customer service impressed us. We purchased the barstools and it took about five months to receive because we selected a custom colored fabric, but it was definitely worth the wait. The barstools are made with great quality fabric and material. While you are waiting for your barstools, John offered temporary loaner barstools until ours arrived.

Thank you Casual Dining & Bar Stools for the temporary bar stools! We returned to Casual Dining & Bar Stools to purchase a dining table. We selected a table and wanted different chairs for our table. John took the time to take the chair we selected and arrange/place the chairs and bench next to the table. We wanted to make sure that the bench and chairs, were going to match our barstools and compliment our entire kitchen.

We purchased the table, bench, and chairs. There is about a five month wait, but it is no fault to Casual Dining. We had selected a custom colored fabric for our bench and chairs. Thank you again John for you outstanding customer service and we'll be back again!

Our visit to the Miramar store was excellent! So many bar stool to choose from and you can customize many of them. We worked with John and he was very helpful with designing the stools! We highly recommend this place!

We purchased kitchen chairs with wooden backs. Our grandson kicked one over and smashed the top wooden back. We went to the Miramar store and John Grimm was able to contact a company that made a wooden back ( the original company was out of business). He ordered it and it was delivered to our home. matched perfectly. Great customer service!

My wife and I were out shopping for a dinette set and a couple bar stools and stumbled upon Casual Dining & Bar Stools. Go figure! Well when we walked in the store, we immediately realized we'd hit the jackpot! Everything we looked at we liked, which had not been the case in the many others stores we'd been to. Either their inventory was too expensive or reasonably priced, but were of poor quality or we didn't like them. Casual Dining & Bar Stools has a wide variety of dinette sets and bar stools that are both reasonably priced and are of high quality!

In addition to the high quality, they also have the option to custom design your furniture to just about any combination one might desire. John helped us design our dinette set to both of our complete satisfaction. He was patient, knew what he was talking about and wasn't overbearing. The characteristic I personally liked most about John was that he didn't patronize us, he actually gave us his honest opinion, but was very professional as he told me that my idea was a bit off the mark, which was very refreshing to me.

If you're in the market for great quality and exceptional customer service, you'll be pleased with this diamond in the ruff! I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family! Once I receive my furniture, I'll be sure to update my review, good or bad.

We ordered set of glass top table and 6 chairs from Canadel. Table was delivered cracked and some chairs have defects. We complained about it and top and chairs was replaced. Great service was provided! Thank you! Highly recommended this place.

Purchased a beautiful kitchen table with chairs and bench. John was extremely helpful with design thoughts and knowledge of products. The table we are replacing after 25 years was also from Casual Dining. Great selection of table shapes and finishes for custom order at reasonable prices.

TIJUANA offers a better shopping experience/products! I shopped around for barstools for a few months. After enough time went by, we ended up going with this business because price and quality seemed to be a good deal. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Our 4 custom barstools were around $1300. We were told it would be 2 weeks, even though on the huge sign in the front of the store, they advertise it being in under a week (Smoke & Mirrors).

They offered us loaner stools which I agreed to and would just drop them off the day they told us they would be ready. It took almost 2 months to get the final product. When I purchased them, I was given a specific day that they would be ready and marked it on my calendar. I scheduled my work in that area and waited for a call. About 3 o'clock rolled around and they never called and I had to leave the area.

I finally called them and they told me they were not going to be ready for pickup for another couple days. I had the loaner stools loaded up in my truck and had to drive back to Miramar during rush hour traffic to drop off the stools, which costed me lost work time. Note to Managnent, don't tell customers that the product will arrive a certain date if you don't know when it will arrive yourself!

Finally I got a call days later that they were ready, we picked them up, took them home, and opened the first box and the "Powdercoat" was horrible, it was stained and chipped, and the the fabric was cut poorly as well. The glides (pads on each leg so that the floor does not get damaged) on the bottom of the stools were installed by their warehouse and were falling off as well.

We did not even take the time to open the other boxes. We brought them back, they said they would address all the issues and call us when they arrived. A day, a week, a month. who knows? When they were finally repaired by the factory, they were then shipped to the warehouse to put the glides on the bottom of the legs. They again, let them cure for a day which is how long they said the glue needs to sit and dry for, then delivered them and the pads were still not glued on.

One came off and ruined my carpet with a black glue stain (see photo). The delivery guy didn't even care or apologize. Also the fabric was cut poorly showing foam through the seams. They wanted us to keep the stools as is and did not even offer money off! What a joke. We refused delivery and they brought them back to the warehouse and on their 3rd try did it right.

This 3rd time costed me a whole day of sitting around waiting for 2 separate deliveries on a Saturday that I had plans to take my family somewhere for the day. The fact we were not even offered money back really makes me mad. By the time we got the stools it was almost 2 months when it was supposed to be 2 weeks max. They damaged the carpet, and even told me they wanted me to keep them after the original delivery which would have destroyed our brand new LVP flooring. Completely botched our whole experience.

The first person who attended me was too rude when I asked him how long to wait for the product to arrive, he replied that only at ikea could I buy it and take it away. I am a business owner in miramar and for that reason any of my employees could lose their job. the second guy named (KEVIN) was very kind service 5 star Thanks again (KEVIN)

I purchased some stools from here a while ago. The models on the showroom looked great. I was not expecting to ever have any issues because we take care of our furniture. Unfortunate that's is not the case, there have been multiple problems with the coating they put on the metal just flaking off and it would seem this stuff is made in China and resold for massive profit. I would take my business elsewhere if I were you! It's just not worth the risk.

I shopped here in 2014 when I needed some barstools. My friends love this place. Seems like they have bee been shopping for a quality dinning room set for several months. At first I do not realize what the option were. We chose a solid Amish made table. The product advisor helpedDed

We purchased a kitchen table and chairs 23 years ago at Casual Dining and Bar Stools. When we were finally ready for a new set we looked around and again ended up buying from them as we found exactly what we wanted and the quality was really good. We expect this to last a good long time. Joan patiently worked with me as I was pretty picky about what I wanted. She was a great help.

I was shopping for counter stools and had already been to the usual furniture stores. Most of the fixed height stools at those stores were a little too short and they caused your elbows to be too low relative to the countertops. We needed an adjustable height stool and we were able to find a better selection here than at the furniture stores. We found a pair at a reasonable price that meets our needs and can be set to an ergonomically correct height.

Our sales person was informed and helpful. He was able to use the website to our advantage more than once! Friendly and calm is hard to come by and sales but we had a gym of a salesperson.

I had been half-looking for a chair for the office for 6 months. And I noticed the sign "Casual Dining and Barstools." I went there spur of the moment. The representative acknowledged my coming in, asked if I needed assistance, and allowed me the time and space to look at their couple hundred chairs, sit on dozens, and narrow down my choice.without any sales pressure. Thank you! I found a very comfortable chair (actually found 5 that I loved!) and was able to purchase amd walk out with it! Great selection!

While we had a good, then bad, then good experience with Casual Dining & Barstools, the end result was that our salesman, Frank Deissler and the store owner, Clyde worked to make us a satisfied customer. They matched the original price that was provided to us, and delivered the furniture on time and it is beautiful. So, in the end, the store did. what the offered and the product is beautiful.

The Amish table is magnificent. I believe they are the only place in San Diego that can sell these products, and the Amish and Clyde have struck a good balance of price and quality. I would go back to this store again. Clyde has called to make sure that we are satisfied, and this shows he has gone the extra mile to make us satisfied customers.

Nice employees but did not find any deals (although they were having a sale). Selection was decent.

I would give Casual Dining and Bar Stools 10 stars if I could! Yesterday I needed a SUPER RUSH order for an event in Vegas. I called over to John and he helped me lightening fast get the barstools I needed and even got them delivered to a warehouse in the area same day. He and Virgil are superstars of customer service and they saved me so much time and hassle.

Even with a very rushed and complicated request, they were incredibly nice to me through the entire transaction. Please come to Casual Dining and Bar Stools for all of your household needs. The employees are exceptional and the furniture is gorgeous. Virgil even let me know they do outdoor chairs/barstools as well. I'll be coming here for all of my work and personal furniture needs from now on. Thanks guys- you really made a stressful situation so easy!

The sales person, Virgilio was very helpful when selecting the items but his follow up was terrible. We had to keep contacting him every single time to find the status of the shipment. Too bad because the store has great inventory.

John was fantastic! He was very patient and professional. I took almost 2 hours to decide what I wanted, and he never pressured me. The options are limitless here and the prices are reasonable.

Bought a table and chair set here, about $1500 so not the nicest one on the floor but still a good chunk of change. Nice sales guy. I get it home and it stays covered for a few weeks because we're just moving in. We finally get it uncovered and after setting ONE glass of water on the table, ONE, the stain has come off and there is a permanent mark on the table.

Literally after 5 minutes of use. I called the store and they blew me off. Called again and they said they'd have customer service contact me, no call back. Called again and they told me it was made in China. Is that your way of telling me you sold me a pile of crap?! Wow. Never shopping here again, not a penny will I spend. Update- owner emailed me and asked for pictures and order number a few weeks ago.

I sent everything and have received no response about what can be done. Owner never called me back. Cool. Here is a recent picture, we never sit here because the table is a piece of shit. Thanks to the owner for never calling me back.

I love my Murphy bed! It is all that I thought it would be and more! Virgil did an excellent job explaining my chooses and helping me design a bed to meet my specific needs. I had an exceptional experience with Matt when recently shopping for counter stools and can't thank him enough for his knowledge and service! Within a couple of minutes of explaining what I might want, he'd pointed me to a few attractive, really comfortable, durable, well-priced options. He was very patient with me as I reviewed upholstery and. metal color options, going so far as to bring pieces outside in the daylight so we could color match against items I had brought from my home. He was also generous in sharing his thoughts on contrasting vs complementary colors, and ultimately I ended up with two stools that look lovely and function perfectly.

We were looking for a very specific type of barstool and knew Casual Dining was the first place we wanted to look. We were lucky enough to find all the elements we wanted in one particular stool and were also able to customize the fabric and the metal for the legs. We're utterly delighted!

This is a Mom and Pop store with quality furniture and excellent customer service! I took forever making a decision, came back multiple times and Jeff didn't pressure me for a second.patience of a saint! My boyfriend even came back later to add another surprise piece onto my order and Jeff had remembered every detail of the custom table I had been admiring, so the surprise went off without a hitch.

Their pricing is more competitive than the other high end (appearing) competitors down the street and the 2 times I have ordered from them the items came in ahead of schedule (which is a miracle in the furniture world). The delivery fee as well was reasonable and again considerably less than their competitors. Genuine, dependable customer service is hard to find these days. Thanks a million Jeff!

My experience here was a good one. could've been a little better, but the sales associate who helped us was brand new (2 weeks new to be exact) & I won't hold that against him. He was very helpful & polite. He misinformed us about a couple of things, but corrected it & apologized for the mistakes-- no problem. Overall the experience here was painless & quick.

The show room is pretty big. Lots of different dining options from full dinner tables down to 2 person tables. This place had a great variety of tables as well as bar stools (as the name suggests). You can mix and match the dining table to the desired chairs/stools. We bought a 5 piece dining set (4 chairs, leather cushioned seats+table) for only $299.99.

The sales associate had to look at the price tag again to make sure it was for the WHOLE set opposed to just the table price. Such a steal! Delivery is about $89.99 but you have an option of picking it up at their warehouse. Delivery cost may vary by product. Opted to pick it up at their warehouse which is a separate location.

A most positive experience from first walking in and through receiving the bar stools. We were notified in the allotted time frame that had been quoted that the stools were ready to be delivered, at a delivery fee, or picked up at no charge. I drove to their nearby warehouse to pick up, and save the $50-75 delivery fee. Brought the stools home, and we had a significant problem with one, and a less severe problem with the other.

The seats swivel, yet did not "stay" in place after getting up. We took a short video of the problem, emailed it to them, and they agreed it was not to spec, and immediately ordered new stools. A few weeks later they arrived, and I went to their warehouse to exchange the stools. One was perfect, and one had a minor crack in the handle cover. I exchanged the good one, and the manager was able to change the handle cover and redeliver it to my home the next day.

What excellent customer service from all concerned. Alison, our sales rep, Diana, their customer service rep, Earl the warehouse rep, and Jake the warehouse supervisor. I would return for any future furniture needs.

I have been at this store several times over the past 7 years and never had any problems. My wife and I purchased a Murphy bed, a dining room set, a china cabinet and a bar stool. I came here because I heard that there a hundreds of stools to pick from. There were so many, but I am glad that my girlfriend knew what I needed. The staff is great here. No high pressure selling, but just showing anything I asked for.
