Walked all the way through the store and not even so much as a hello from anyone. I was actually excited to visit the store. But now I will never go back.

We love this store! They have great vintage finds, as well as new products from Gus and Bludot (our favs). The store team is always kind and fun! We have ordered a few different pieces over the last year and the company has been so good about communicating delivery updates. We have only encountered minor delays and have been pleased with all the products we have gotten there.

If you're in Denver and into vintage/mid mod furniture, you MUST visit this shop. Not only did I come away with some stellar pieces of furniture, but I had a ton of fun working with Craig (owner) and John (team member). They are extremely kind, knowledgeable, and were an absolute pleasure to work with. They even helped me load up my truck. I can't say better things about the shop and my experience there. I'm sure I will be back very soon!

Sleek and functional furniture in an amazing space right in the middle of a really cool stretch of Colfax businesses. Helpful staff that know what looks good.

I love this place, and most of all, I love Craig Troyer, the owner. He not only has a great eye and good design suggestions, he is the kind of person you want to invite to your newly-furnished place to sit on your mid-century modern couch and drink martinis.

This store has the BEST mix of vintage and modern furniture. I purchased Blu Dot outdoor chairs that are the most delicious color in addition to a scrumptious outdoor couch. The service at Mod Living is the best in Denver; Craig is hilarious and fun to work with! It's a great store filled with knowledgeable and passionate people. The only thing that could make this store better is if they added a bar in the backroom.

I placed a weborder of BluDot barstools with Mod Living. At every stage of the transaction, the entire staff with whom I interacted (by email and phone) were incredibly responsive and helpful. My items arrived in Illinois a week from placing the order. A more proactive and motivated team could not be found.

Really cute stuff! Wanted to ask about the price on a cedar chest as I have been in the market for one however the gentlemen in his late 40s working there was not wearing a mask and he was walking around the store on the phone so this was enough to scare me off as we are in a pandemic, oh well guess I'll have to keep looking. There was an older man who was very sweet and masked properly however the younger guy working there not wearing a mask was enough to make me leave the store for my own health and safety.

Mod livin' is the coolest shop! Jill has been amazing helping us pick out furniture (couch, rug and dining chairs) and getting it shipped to our new place in NYC! She always responds quickly to email and it's a complete joy to work with. Customers for life!

After a fruitless day of shopping for a couch for my new apartment, my boyfriend and I stopped into Mod Livin' and found exactly what we were looking for. Love love love this place! And Jill, the owner, is an absolute treasure. Even though we live on the East Coast now, we've still been ordering most of our furniture online from Mod Livin' because of how amazing this store is. Some examples of why we love Mod Livin' so much: - They're the only store to offer free shipping on certain brands like Gus - Jill will tell us of upcoming manufacturer sales, and she even gave us money back (when we happily paid full price!) because there was a sale the following week - The customer service is truly amazing. Jill even provides helpful advice and hunts down delivery companies on our behalf when there's any issues If you're looking for great prices and great customer service on modern furniture, I can't recommend this place enough! And pro tip: there's way more stuff online than in person, so definitely check that out too.

Great place! We went there with my husband, we had morocco appetizers and couscous. We shared one couscous because it was too big for us, but it was really good! They offered us mint tea after dinner. The place is lovely, and the waiters were attentive but also gave us privacy. Loved it!

I use to come in this store long before it became an uptight enclave with highly pretentious staff. Having a staff member almost immediately make a quick judgment then essentially infer that I should leave as I'm not going to be able to purchase anything therefore why should they provide any courtesy or service to me. Little do they know. I have a number of items I'll be looking to purchase but will make it clear this staff member will not be the one I'll be working with on those purchases.

I have been to Mod Livin' a few times! Love the site but the customer services needs some help! I'm always so enthusiast when I go in but left disappointed with the lack of customer services!

Service was lacking. Furniture was way over priced. Even the bargain area was overpriced and it looks like things we're thrown down there before they headed to the dumpster. Most of the items looked cheap and definitely not worth the price tag. Can get way better made and vintage items for less.

This is a must visit for fans of vintage furniture, collectibles and fun stuff! New lines are available as well as cool one of a kind period pieces. Mid century modern is here! Love the Colfax location and on the weekends, you will often find Jill(proprietor), Craig or Beth-who is terrific and super knowledgeable. I have always gotten great service and love shopping at a place where everyone has a passion for what they're selling you, and it has a story, often times, to boot! Everyone I have encountered has been super to work with so stop by. The fish n chips next door are pretty good too!

Absolutely LOVE this store! Hands down the best place to find some beautiful mid century modern furniture, new and old. Craig is the sweetest and SO helpful! Definitely ask for him when you stop by and dont hesitate to get his opinion if you have any questions! He helped my husband and I decorate our loft in Denver and it is flawless! The first place we've lived that really feels like "us" and always makes us feel inspired. Craig did a great job at making honest suggestions/changes and is amazing at guiding you to find your own style, but helps you elevate it.

He also made some suggestions that I NEVER would have thought of that have made a massive difference in our space. like getting a white entertainment center, saddle colored leather couch, and brass accents. Craig is the best!

I dropped by this last weekend to peruse the latest additions to their collection. It was very near closing time but Craig was extremely helpful and welcoming nonetheless. He even went so far as to share his computer with me so I could view different color options for a chair I liked. The store is laid out well and offers a nice mix of both new and vintage pieces.

Be sure to go upstairs as they have great pieces squirreled away up there. If your tastes trend towards mid-century modern give this store a visit. Both the merch and staff are delightful.

This place is SO cool. Gorgeous furniture. Love all the Blu Dot and Gus name brand. Layed out in such a way that it is easy to take it all in. Ask for Craig. Super friendly and knowledgeable. I could buy everything in this store. Also loved all the cool retro goods in the back of the store. This store is a gem. I highly reccomend going. I cant wait to go back.

Jill and her entire team were absolutely wonderful. We bought several items at Mod Livin' and were pleased with the experience from the moment we walk into the store till we left. Environment is low pressure, friendly and accommodating. They have an excellent selection of both vintage pieces and new modern designs.

Eh. nice set up and cool stuff but way over priced. Why would someone spend $300 on a plastic chair? The couches look like IKEA and cost over $1000. I'd never buy anything from here

With all of the options in Denver, this should the last place you go. They simply have no pride in their customer service.

When can I move in?! This place is the bee's knees. I stopped into this mid century wonderland over the weekend and could not believe my eyes. From furniture to teak serving ware to retro refrigerators, Mod Livin' is a treasure trove for anyone looking for that perfect throwback piece. The main room of the store is full of vintage pieces--fabulous couches, chairs, lamps, etc.

The basement has more furniture (check there for outdoor pieces), shelves, and more. The upstairs has beautiful Danish furnishings (mostly new). Prices are a little high compared to other vintage in Denver, though they were having a 20% off sale when I stopped in. For original pieces from the 50's, 60's, and 70's, I think the prices are pretty fair. Stop in often for new arrivals!

I purchased a new dining table from Mod Livin' and had a great experience. Their large showroom was filled with interesting options since they stock new items and some very cool vintage pieces. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and even helped me to load my purchase with great care into my truck. If you are looking for interesting furniture or already know you love mid century modern, definitely go check them out!

Great furniture! Excellent service! I was surprised to see a great variety of modern furniture. This is one of the few places in town that carries both vintage and contemporary modern-style pieces. Their prices are also very good. I would say the best asset of the store is the staff. They are friendly, helpful and very knowledgable. hands down, my favorite modern furniture store in town!

This is really sort of a secret. Shhhh.(I'm using my whispering voice from here down:) on the last friday of every month, mod livin' hosts a gallery of sorts that revolves around a theme: for example, art deco or eames era. so after they are officially closed, you can go look at museum-worthy pieces and even shop the regular store with a glass of wine in hand. it's all free! just go to the store and sign up for their mailing list to get invited! buy something, while you're at it, so i don't feel bad for letting the cat out of the bag. only tell cool people about this, ok? shhhhh.
