St. Angelo Gage was established in 1971 when Fred and Sandra Gage along with the St. Angelo family purchased Ducro Furniture, which has been in business since 1852. Fred and Sandra Gage purchased the entire operation in 1982. Flora Gage David came on board in 1994 as sales manager making this a truly family operated business. We have two floors and over 22,000 square feet of name brand furniture featuring such names as Lane, Broyhill, and Simmons. We have the largest selection of furniture between Mentor and Erie.

We tried to buy local as much as we could for our new home 3 years ago. We bought several tables and an expensive Large Lane sectional for our living room. We had trouble with it within 3 months. They did send a nice man out to repair and he told us the problem ( the cushions all bunched up, was a known problem). He tired to fix them and it appeared to help.
Within months it happened again. Unfortunately I hear the man who came passed away. So we had to keep calling the store and they basically said it was no longer their problem. They gave us a name of a new repair guy whom we called 2-3 times over a matter of months. and said he would call and set up an appointment to come fix. We were obviously put on a back burner until we just quit complaining.
Another problem we ordered a dining room table and chairs set. They gave us a price and we excepted. They said it would be 6 weeks. After 6 weeks of waiting we called and they then informed us the price they gave us was wrong ( they didn't add price of chairs in their quote). So they never ordered it and never told us. The owner was very rude when we questioned this after going in person to discuss the matter. I gave the 2 stars because they had 2 nice sales ladies when we first went in to buy from them. Never again

This place is TERRIBLE. My advice to anyone is STAY AWAY. I called two-three times to get them to assist me on a past purchase. Mr. Gage answered first call and hung up on me. I didn't even get a chance to even explain my issue before he hung up. Mrs. Gage returned my call and was also very unapologetic stating we get lots of calls for solicitors. After several attempts they finally "helped" me. I've been waiting 6 weeks for replacements. My advice to anyone is STAY AWAY.
