Item was delivered today.the driver said he had to "take an imprint" of my credit card. Ya know, like the 1980's. Keep in mind I paid with the credit card three days before, over the phone, and the charge was already posted 2 days ago to my credit card. When I told the driver the numbers weren't raised on the card, he said, "yeah, that's pretty common, so I'll just write the number down, the expiration, and the three digit code on the back. At every turn, there's an issue with this company. To whoever's grandparent is running the accounting department, it's time to come out of the 80's.

Never ever buy the warranty or 5 year repair/replace plan at Sheely's. They lie about how it works. I followed the protocol and process perfectly and it was denied claiming "we will not fix this damage". I called Sheely's and they said they won't do anything about. Never pay for the warranties. You're wasting your money.

Went on to get a new dining room set and walked around for the better part of an hour without being able to find anyone willing to help us. When I did find what I was looking for I had questions and still couldn't find anyone to help me. Eventually we left and the girl at the front door looked up from her phone to tell is bye. not a great experience. There is a fine line between giving the customer space and downright ignoring them. Either way not a great experience.

July 2018 we bought a mattress and power base from Sheely's along with the five year extended warranty. The power base died with the head of the bed inclined about two months ago. I've spent the past two months online and on the phone with Montage, the company handling the extended warranty Sheely's sold us. It took a month of online applications, messages, and phone calls to finally get a tech out here to ID the problem, confirming that the motor died, and the issue is covered.

I've spent the second month trying to get Montage - or someone - to actually fix the bed. I've talked to Sheely's about this problem, but they just tell me they don't fix power bases and not their problem. I do understand that my issue right now is with Montage, but Sheely's sold me the bed that died after about 3.5 years of light use and the what's-proving-to-be useless extended warranty - two bum products they are not standing behind.

Great selection. Prices are at market. The sales service was very good. I would caution any customer though if chosing custom fabric. The color of our furniture is no where near the color we selected. We checked the order color code and we received the correct color code but it is no where near the picture we took at the time of our purchase.

Went to buy a washer and dryer. Salesman worked there for over 30 years. Very knowledgeable. Free delivery and set up. Dryer was a tough install but they did a great job.

I just got off the phone with a man in appliances, called about replacing a Maytag dishwasher, stainless steel tub in the color bisque, almond, beige. The man said Maytag discontinued the color. I asked about another brand in the same color. He said "they all discontinued that color" - now, I didn't want to call him a liar but there's lots available when I shop online.

I told him that and said I was just trying to shop local. This used to be a great store, this isn't the first time I've been lied to. I wouldn't recommend Sheely's.

Sheely's came highly recommended to us from a number of friends and family members, so we made the drive out to Ohio to see them. But we simply couldn't get them to call us back (for weeks on end) after we found what we wanted. The representative who gave us their card just never responded to our calls or emails, and the store did the same. We were looking for a particular configuration of a couch brand that it turns out is sold elsewhere (and also much closer to home), so we ordered it through this other store instead.

It's a shame because we'd have been happy to give Sheely's the business since they took the time to walk us through all the options in their showroom, but you can't expect to keep customers' business if you simply ignore them.

I bought the extended warranty for furniture. Waited 4 weeks for first service man to come. Chair broke a second time. Waited 7 weeks for this service man only to be called on day of service delaying it yet another week. Neither Shelley's nor U.S. "Quality" Furniture Services cares. Never buying from Shelley's again, nor buying any extended warranty again.

The buying experience was ok. My salesperson was knowledgeable and patient with me as I limped through the store. However I explained that I needed my recliner by Jan 13 because I was getting a hip replacement and had to be elevated. They committed to Jan 28. It's March 5th and they just put me off again until the end of March. This wouldn't bother me so much except that I went to every furniture store in Warren & Niles before Sheelys and all of those stores said a piece of leather furniture would take until the end of March so when I went to Sheelys I told them that and wanted to be sure I could get the chair in January.

They said Jan 28. In hindsight they probably knew it would be the end of March like all the other stores, why would they be different? They wanted the sale and said what I wanted to hear to get it.

Absolutely terrible terrible service! Do NOT purchase anything from them. I'm an out of state interior designer who came in town to help my stepmom furnish with her new place. We placed a very large order in September 2020. They said the latest she'll receive the items would be December 2020 due to Covid. Which is understandable, so we said we'll wait. December rolls around and now we're told it'll be pushed back even longer. It's now February and they're pushing back yet again! She's been in her house with hardly any furniture at all. She's been waiting patiently for months. It's absolutely the most ridiculous situation I've ever experienced in my years as a designer.

Very very disappointed. Do not ever promise someone a delivery date then set it back multiple for weeks on end. That's a sure way to loose a lot of money. Also, having worked at one of the bigger furniture stores (Pottery Barn) for 6 years, we would have immediately compensated somehow. They won't do anything at all. We will never again buy anything from here and will get the word out not to support this business. Don't waste your time.

Dean and the rest of the staff will lie, cheat, steal, and do whatever else it takes to close a deal, especially if it means screwing you over. They did not have the fridge I needed in stock, so they lied and said that another model had the same dimensions. When it came time to deliver the fridge (after a sizable wait), their lie was exposed, but they didn't care since they already had their money.

The fridge they supplied wasn't even close to being the correct size! They made no attempt to own up to their shady practices, and were going to add massive charges to replace the fridge with one that would actually fit in my kitchen. Do not shop here! If you have to give them business, get every single thing in writing. Even if you do, they'll probably still find a way to take advantage of you.

Horrible service. Ordered and paid for furniture including a lamp that we have been waiting for almost 4 months. Kept calling to see if it was in yet and they said any time now. After all this time my final call to them and the sales person said oh they discontinued your lamp. When we called they kept saying someone will get back to you before the store closes. Will not purchase from them again.

It took me almost three hours to get in touch with a SA and the listing noted online that had been showing as available is now just one piece because the set was broken up even though the site says DO NOT BREAK UP. what a waste of two and a half hours of my day. I guess you are only important if you can drive over an hr to their showroom. Actually both pieces that were listed were not available for purchase. UPDATE YOUR SITE

There's so much going for Sheely's, I barely know where to begin. While it's not located in Pittsburgh, it's SUCH an easy drive to and from that it's a negligible difference. My first visit was a couple of months ago when I was on the hunt for bunk beds. I couldn't find anything I liked anywhere - in-store, online, etc. - until I tried Sheely's.

While nothing in the store struck my fancy, the sales rep showed me a few options in a catalog that were a perfect fit. From the first step in the door through the ordering process, we were treated kindly and quickly. Next, I took another visit on a never-ending search for the perfect sectional. Of course we found it at Sheely's. The selection alone is worth the trip, and I can't think of another store in the area with a greater selection.

Per usual, we were treated extremely well (even with a cranky toddler on hand), and I'm just as pleased with the visit as I was the first time. We'll be back again soon, I'm sure!

Damaged my front door, drivers lied and said they didn't do it. Will never do business with them again. Clearly bringing a refrigerator in larger than the door will not fit. It's very unfortunate when my husband and I spent $15,000 in the last year to support a local business, but they have staff that does not own up to their mistakes. The driver stated that it didn't leave the warehouse that morning with a scratch on it. Called his manager right when it happened.

When the bolts of the door took the steel frame off the gentleman hurried up and took the bolts off with a wrench scratching the refrigerator. Then after bringing 4 appliances in, they decided to take the door off to remove the old refrigerator. Customer service is a joke. Don't shop here if you want your house destroyed.

I was surprised to learn that Sheely's no longer services the products that they sell in Pa. I am right across the state line and was told buy them that I had to call the manufacture. for my new refrigerator.

I went to Sheely's alone last week in search of a couch and mattress. I was so overwhelmed by all the choices that I left without buying a thing. Today I went with my sister and brother in law. We had great help from Taylor who was patient while we looked at many items. Not only did I get the new mattress and couch, I also purchased two new chairs. The prices and quality are great along with free delivery to my house in PA. This was not my first purchase at Sheely's and it most certainly won't be the last.

Just for the record, I find it interesting that Sheely's responds to most negative reviews, but they offered no response to mine. Although what more can they say? If they won't replace/exchange the sofa then any comments would be meaningless.

I gave it two stars but I think that's generous. Typically, we are the people that go out of our way to appreciate people and we love supporting local businesses, however, Sheely's has made this a very difficult task. From start to finish, there have been several road bumps. Initially, our bill for the furniture we ordered was incorrect as they ended up charging us double for one of the pieces of the sectional.

When we questioned the total amount due, we were told the bill was correct and that we needed to put more money down. If we wouldn't have asked for an itemized bill (several times, actually) & caught the mistake ourselves, we would have been paying over $700 more then what we should have. Thankfully our sales person, Barb, rectified the situation & was very sweet.apologizing for the mistake & offering furniture warranty at no cost.

I wish this was the worst of it but unfortunately, the fun didn't end there. We picked out a sectional that was on display in their showroom.same fabric, nothing custom. The only change we made was to switch the chaise to the right side of the couch rather then the left. We were told that the sectional would be in and delivered to us in 6-8 weeks. July 13 specifically is what we were told.

It is now the end of August.we are now at 13 weeks and we still haven't received our sectional. Which means we've been living in our home without furniture for 13 weeks. What makes this worse is that we were NEVER called about these delays. The ONLY reason we knew was because we kept calling and asking, calling and asking.over and over and over again.

Not one person from Sheely's ever called us to let us know that our furniture would not be in when we initially expected. At one point, we were even told that our sectional might not even come in and that we might have to pick out something else. At this point I was starting to think this was all just a joke. I wish I could say that everyone was really polite and apologetic, because I get it.things happen, mistakes are made, furniture is delayed, and sometimes things are beyond our control.but in all actuality, everyone was very rude and entitled (with the exception of Barb).

Not one person was efficient in effective communication or seemed concerned about maintaining excellent customer service. Paul (manager) had expressed to us that as soon as the sectional was in and ready for delivery, we'd be first priority. Not the case. We were told that if we wanted to have a specific time for delivery, we'd need to pay 60 dollars to ensure delivery within a two hour window. Otherwise, we'd have to be home and available during a time period of 8 hours which is just not possible.

Might I just add that we only live 4.5 miles from Sheely's.yet, they are still not willing to work with us and be flexible. We were told that they deliver to people all the time and never have issues. Again.entitled and rude. We only ever felt like we were a nuisance to the employees at Sheely's. All of this to say, we still haven't received our furniture.and we will never order furniture from Sheely's ever again.

My over all experience at Sheely's was great at first they seemed to truly care about their customer and went above and beyond to take care of me. I spend a decent amount of money on new furniture for my living room and was going to buy it out right but I was convinced to use the financing option they had by the woman helping me. I made all of my payments by their due date and when I went to make my last payment I noticed they charged me interest because I missed my date for the promo expiring but payed it by my due date.

I called the bank and they refused to help me and then I called the store and spoke to a manager. She claimed she would try to help me but I never heard from her again. Clearly just like the bank they associate with Sheely's as a company do not actually care about their customers and just want your money. I would highly recommend going somewhere else with your business.

Really poor repair scheduling policy. The company can not give ANY window for scheduling warranted service. Must be available ALL day to schedule a service call. Nice to support local business but big boxes have better prices and more friendly service policies. 30+ year customer saying goodbye to Sheeley's
