3 years we bought a leather recliner and couch which we spent over $3,000 for both pieces. We were told that this was very good leather by the sales person. There is just my husband and I that use this furniture and once in a great while guests. My husband sits on the recliner and I sit on the couch. Well the leather is cracking on the recliner part of the couch which by the way is NOT where I sit.
Two portions of the couch the leather is fading and another spot is actually peeling. I called and was told to text pics. The response I received was that the leather only has a 1 year warranty. Hansen's offered to give me the number of a leather guy for repairs. PLEASE don't believe a word they say about how good the leather is. We have now spent over 3k for furniture that didn't even last 3 years with minimum use. Save yourself your hard earned money and go some place else to buy your furniture. Very disappointed.

3 Saturday's ago (mid Nov. 2018) I purchased a very nice $1300 recliner at Hanson's, all electric, massage, heat, lumbar and recline unit. Once I got it home and in place and powered up, I noticed the Lumbar would not stay in the position I would set it to, made a few different attempts to get it to work and problem persisted. On Sunday (the next day) I called and let the gentlemen who answered know about my problem, it seemed like he did not believe me as he said you probably are not using the remote properly a number of times, I assured him I was (and I was) after this he did agree to have the person (theirs or the person they use) that makes house calls call me and set up a time to come by the house and check it out.
After 2 weeks of waiting for that call and of not using the chair I called again, this time the Woman I talked to did not know anything about my previous call or problem and could not see if I was due a fix it visit, however, did say she would have the person that does the home visit fix stuff guy call me and set up a time to come by. again! Well that was a week ago.
So after 3 weeks and $1300 for a high end chair that does not work properly I still have not received any calls or visits. The sales Woman that sold me the chair mentioned numerous times while I was looking at chairs that Hanson's "stands behind the items they sell" Well, I beg to differ, they do not! Glad I put it on my Credit Card as Will probably contact my bank and see about getting my money back!,, Update- Jan 10th 2019 someone came to fix (I thought) the chair, no he looked at it for 5 minutes, then told me he would have to order the parts and that would take 4-6 weeks Update- JAN 21st he came back installed new parts, and guess what? they did not work, he left and I do not know when he will be back.
Stay tuned. Update, repair guy came total of 4 times and still did not repair my chair, I did contact my Bank and was pursuing a purchase dispute, much to my surprise I then received a call from Don the owner of Hanson's, he offered to let me come back to the store and choose a different chair, which I did, they delivered it and picked up the lemon chair around the end of May 2019. I now have a chair i'm satisfied with after 6 months finally.

The prices seem to be very fair for the quality of the furniture, has a very large selection also. But I am taking the 2 stars off of what would of been a 5 star as the "tall" sales representative was following my wife and I around without saying anything. Gave off a very bad feeling and unwelcomeness to the store.

I went in to the store today looking for several things. I felt like I was greeted like a family member. The furniture was extremely high quality, and it was different than other stores - they actually get some of their woodwork from Pennsylvania made in Lancaster from the Amish people who love there. I may be biased because I am from PA, but I just think that is amazing.
