Copper Fox Antiques Located just an hour south of our nation's capital, Copper Fox Antiques is nestled in the bosom of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Come antiquing in the cozy town of Sperryville in rural Rappahannock County, where there isn't a stoplight, fast food joint or Wal-Mart to be found.

Here, cows outnumber people, and the internationally-acclaimed dining at restaurants such as the Thornton River Grille and the Inn at Little Washington is rivalled only by our spectacular views of rich pastureland, native wildlife and the rugged Blue Ridge.

Wow! Overpriced and not in the best shape. era range and variety looked to be good but my allergy to mold wouldn't allow me to stay very long to browse. I've been twice and couldn't see anything had turned over in the short time I could stay in the building. Shame really.

Went looking for something small as we didn't have much space, and there wasn't much variety, but we also did not spend much time there, I'm guessing you can find some interesting stuff, place is very big

I was struck by the strong smell of mold in such a large place with little ventilation not to mention standing water on the floor. Some pieces had potential but much of the their inventory was in rough shape and priced at a high premium. Anything coming home would need a really good cleaning just to mitigate the smell if even possible. We missed the small mask mandated sign on the propped open door which was our bad, but decided to leave when we where told somewhat rudely we had to wear mask then lectured as we turned toward the entrance about how she had two children at home with autoimmunity issues.

I'm sure they won't miss us, nor will we miss them. My advice to the proprietors of this mess is that good ventilation is the single most effective prevention of mold and the spread of COVID.

Store smells like mold, standing water, overpriced junk. Plus lady there was very rude. Don't waste your time.

Parakeet not well taken care of (large sore on his tail end) and a very uninviting atmosphere.

One of the most idyllic spots ever. The people compliment the spot perfectly with gracious caring service - and the drinks are top notch.

Wow! I'm trying not to use a certain word for the items inside this store. Plenty of furnishings inside this warehouse but greatly over priced and in horrific condition to dare ask these prices. I noticed people entering but no one was leaving with a purchase. I've been a flea market/antique store customer for too many years to mention. Yes, there's cool, good and great stuff that's second hand on the market but this place was a joke.

I knew within 5 minutes of entering that I probably wouldn't find or buy anything. I was right. As stated by other honest reviewers, don't waste your time. I did on Mother's Day. Ain't nothing but JUNK.

Check it out. There's neat stuff everywhere, you just have to find it.

Really cool place for antiques. Everything from the 1800s to today. Barn items, beautiful tables and desks, chandeliers, Asian decor etc.

Stopped by the store to grab a new item for home and a new store. Staff was very helpful in finding items and keeping eyes out for new things, too. Very reasonably priced and friendly staff! They loaded stuff down, too!

I would like to inquire about the well being of the tiny parakeet sitting in a cage way to big, all by himself in a dark corner. He looked very depressed and lonely. Perhaps you could take him home so he isnt there by himself in the dark all night and day.

What a fun place to find all the "special needs" you've been searching for years. Lovely staff and quaint town with much to do and enjoy. Create your own family heirlooms or choices for your special friend. Going back again!

My Significant Other and I just visited the Copper Fox yesterday and very much enjoyed our visit. It was a nice mix between antique and interesting not-so-antique pieces. We had a lot of fun browsing and buying. (I just love my rose-colored Hollywood telephone!) I'm sure we'll be back soon.

Wonderful! Antiques from all eras, including some great Mid-century modern pieces. Furniture, decorative pieces, lamps, crystal, fun pieces.you name it. Such a fun place to explore and the owners are great!

A little junky. Some nice pieces too, but over all better places elsewhere.
