Barbo's Furniture was founded in 1947 by brothers Leo, John, and Charles Barbo in the Massachusetts town of Stoneham, just north of Boston. Three other brothers - Albert, Joe, and Sal - worked with their brothers. Several years later, a second store joined the family in nearby Dedham. In 1971, Albert Barbo and his wife, Mary, moved to Cape Cod after purchasing the existing Whitney Wayside Furniture Store in Dennisport.
Because of the worldwide pandemic; unprecedented demand for home furnishings; unforeseen, extreme weather conditions this past winter; scarcity of raw materials and transportation price increases and delays affecting the furniture industry; not only have lead times for product ballooned to several months but prices have become very volatile.
Choose from over 50 beautiful sofas and living room sets to make your home more comfortable. Shown here is a sampling of what we have to offer. At Barbo's Furniture in Cape Cod, we feature variety of styles and fabrics to match decors from coastal, cottage or casual to transitional, and traditional. Large selection of furniture options including US made products. Good salespeople. One star taken away for the unkempt landscape areas directly outside the store. Other retailers on Main St. make a point of providing beautiful plantings and upkeep. Those are good civic partners. Come on Barbo's - step it up!

Barbo's in Falmouth has two American flags defaced, hanging in the window of their store. It is appalling. Shocking even. Before Trump the American flag was never desecrated like this. Now any old version of the flag is acceptable--maybe even with racist intent? That is not patriotic. It is using the flag for narrow political reasons. Get a different flag for your views Barbo's but don't deface the red, white and blue!

Just a really great local furniture store on the Cape. I love coming in here - rooms of ideas. High quality furniture. More of that traditional and transitional Cape style.works very well for the homes in this area. The staff are all class acts. I'm a huge fan. I love supporting a well run local business! I can see why they have stood the test of time.

Horrible experience! I purchased two end table couple months ago. Went back a few weeks ago to purchase matching tv console and two lamps. Picked up order a week later to find console damaged lamps ( in a brown paper bag) No box? odd. The owner Cory Barbo explained he would have a new one delivered free of charge. Great! Week later piece delivered and yup it was damaged.
This time the owner Cory Barbo was not as kind! I quote" you did not buy the best quality stuff. It is made in China" Bashing his own product! He then went on to say I could buy the floor model same price but I would have to pay a $50.00 delivery charge! Thank but NO! refund my $$$ Good luck to anyone that buys at Barbos in Falmouth Ma

My husband and I recently purchased a living room set at Barbo's. Within one month the cushions had deep indentations with minimal weight. We contacted the store and were extremely satisfied with the response. The owner, customer service and our sales person, Wendy Wollenhaupt were above and beyond helpful. We are awaiting a new set. I highly recommend Barbo's as your furniture choice.

I was looking for the perfect pieces to convert my Cape Cod breezeway family room into a family room that could also serve as another guest room. Corey Barbo was an invaluable resource. It started with an extraordinary email and then progressed through several visits to the showroom. The quality and the design of the furniture and fabrics make shopping at Barbo's a lovely experience. I'm so pleased with my significant purchase, a compact upholstered swivel chair covered in a gorgeous pattern. Corey provided decorating advice, common sense, and inspiration. There's more to come as we continue the transformation!

I can't say enough nice things about Corey Barbo and the entire experience that my wife and I had in buying some new furniture for our Cape living room. The prices were competitive and the customer service was absolutely first rate. Our new furniture arrived weeks ahead of schedule and we couldn't be happier. Corey was a pleasure to work with. He is knowledgable and sincere and totally honest.

They are over priced and their furniture doesn't last. It fades very quickly and it looks just awful. I bought a couch and a recliner. I bought all my furniture for every room in my house from them and I'll never buy anything more from them. I've never placed my couch or my recliner near or under a window in direct sunlight and it's so faded it looks dirty and disgusting and the ironic thing of it all is that I live alone and on a very rare occasion have company.
I hadn't even had my furniture for a year and that's how bad it had faded. The first week of having my coffee table it cracked right down the middle. I called they came out to look at it and they did replace it. But my couch and chairs where only 9 or 10 months old. I called them again and they sent someone out to look at the furniture and after all the money that I spent furnishing my home he said that there was nothing they could do but if I wanted to I could and order new covering for my couch and that it would cost me about $1,500 to $2,000.my dining room set has little pit holes in it.
Everything is just a red hot mess. I'm so embarrassed of living room furniture. You know it's pretty bad when you won't even sit on your own couch. Maybe if they had done something after all the money that was spent I would have given them 5 star's. They aren't even worth the 1 star I gave them. I don't recommend them at all. They're more than happy to help to make the sale to get their commission but after that they have forgotten who you are once that furniture is delivered to your home. There are better places out there to buy furniture. If I wanted Wal-Mart furniture then I would have bought my furniture from Wal-Mart. BEWARE!

I was in this store on the weekend nowhere near closing time and had a horrible experience for a retail establishment. There is a "blond" older woman who works there who was absolutely no help and had a horrible attitude. I've since heard this from several others who have had the same experience. The store is run like it's still the 1970s.
They had no catalogues to offer and told us the web site was for "trade only". They basically want you to tell them what you want, buy it, and leave. They have no interest in assisting you to find or fine tune what you are looking for if you are even a bit unsure. When I first arrived I was misdirected by this woman to look upstairs when what I wanted was more available downstairs.
I had to waste a considerable amount of time wandering through the maze of dusty crap they have on display on the second floor. If there's ever a fire up there I'm sure people will never get out as the Exit signs probably went out of code thirty years ago. That aside, the slightest bit of interest or assistance on their part could have made a sale, but instead I left disgusted. Others in town say they would look there, find what they want, and then purchase it elsewhere. I have no idea why they are still in business.
