We bought a Miles Talbot couch ( over $4,000) from Sedlak's The comfort is nothing like the what was in the store. We contacted Sedlak just under a year still stiff uncomfortable ( sore back). Neither Sedlak or Miles Talbot are will to do anything. I would not step foot in Sedlak's again or buy anything by Miles Talbot. I was told by Sedlak it takes time to break it in Haha. What a joke.

I would give this store less than one star should it be available. I have struggled with this store from the very moment I purchased my furniture. I was called insulting names and have a defective bed. I was told I was speaking with "one of the owners" to resolve my issue but learned she was just an office person. An employee repeatedly calls me an offensive name and I can't even get an apology from an owner. Still stuck with the defective product. This store is a disorganized mess.

Best possible experience starting with the salesman who listened to my phone questions and by the time I arrived at the store 45 minutes later had researched appropriate chairs and presented a wonderful selection for trial comfort. Jim is a consummate professional, gentleman and went over and above to make sure we had every opportunity to find something that fit our needs.
Delivery was 2 days later and the crew, Jim and Eric were professional and friendly. The even helped us relocate our oud chairs for piclup by a charity that was recommended by the store. Will buy our next household item there for sure.

All super solid, high quality stuff. In general it is NOT cheap, but if you look closely, there's some killer deals. Don't get scared away by the first price tag you see! I also dig how the sales people aren't commissioned, so they leave you alone unless you need help. Another big benefit is that you get free delivery within 60 miles. The two guys who showed up were total pros. Had to remove a door and navigate three tricky turns, but made it look easy.

I called requesting assistance in furnishing several rooms in a new house we're building. I spoke with the owner, Jan Sedlak, on a Monday who took my name and number and said an associate would call me back. I decided to walk around the store that day to start to get some ideas. I saw a custom table I was interested in exploring options of and not one person offered me assistance even though they were not busy at all.
As of Friday I had not received a call so I called again. The person who was supposed to call me back was not yet in so I explained what had happened thus far and asked for another associate my builder had recommended. They weren't in either so they gave me her voicemail and I explained my needs and requested a call back. I was told she would be in shortly.
After several hours I decided to reach out to the maker of the table company directly and spoke with the owner. He was concerned that no one was helping me so called the store direct and had the salesman he worked with reach out to me. He did within 30 minutes. Help at last! I went in to the store shortly after that to meet with him about the table I had seen and discuss options.
Before we even got to the table he was already steering me towards a different brand. He didn't show me finishes or give much help at the table I'd come to see but went on and on about another manufacturer. He took me to that table and was suddenly pulling out finishes and options. Talk about horrible allegiance to the original table manufacturer I was interested in.
I wouldn't have even been there if he hadn't arranged it and now this guy was sending me a different direction. I plan to spend a lot of money on furnishing our new home. And Sedlak's will not get one cent of that. I will never set foot in that store again.

The gentleman we worked with was very helpful and professional. The shopping experience was positive. Delivery crew was friendly and also professional. We selected matching recliners. While they seemed comfortable in the store, they are the absolute most uncomfortable chair I've ever owned. No one will sit in them for more than a short time. Sadly, after only 6 months, once we feel it is safe to shop again (Covid), they'll be replaced. Not a purchase that should be replaced so quickly.

E bought two Lazar sofas from Sedlak. One of them (flirt sofa) is in great condition, the other curved sofa had a different fabric & start peeling like skin after a year. It began as one small area & we ignore, to the point that last year it was everywhere. We barely use this sofa. We have no pet or small kid. I contacted Sedlak last year but they told us there's no warranty for fabric.
Who is responsible for this. Our other sofa looks brand new with different fabric. The curve one has a patterned faux leather fabric & the pattern cause peeling. For spending 6k You would figure somebody will stand behind our product

Nice people, huge place and variety, but nothing there reflected current trends to us, and the prices seemed too high for no better quality or style than places like Arhaus, Pottery Barn, or Restoration Hardware. The people working there believed in what they were selling and that's what was good about it, but unfortunately nothing there for us.

For quality and selection, I would give them a 4.5. Service gets a 2. And the 2 could be a one except for I received a nice greeting. I came in with my infant in a stroller.no help at the door and the entryway is cumbersome. Out of the 7-10 salespeople that I saw, only 1 halfway asked if I needed some help. Would I back? Probably so because I saw a few interesting pieces. However the service is a strong deterrent.

Stay AWAY! Ordered patio cushions for another sofa and they came in the incorrect color.the owner Jan refused to take back and reorder correct color.will not even call us back.she is rude and told us to come and pick up our cushions. The WORST customer service ever.we buy alot of furniture as well as our neighbors and believe me, we will tell everyone about our experience.

Took our order and money for a Stickley Morris Chair then days later came back wanting $1000 more because the salesman did not realize the style combination was not part of the Stickley sale. More incompetence rather than bait and switch. Kept our money for 1.5 months until we asked them to cancel the order, which they did. When I wrote to the store manager they went out of their way to correct the situation. They honored the original quote even though it cost them quite a bit of profit. I now recommend them highly.

Poor customer service. Spoke to Jan Sedlak a year ago about my unhappiness with my mattress purchase, disinterested. She took my name and number to research for me a custom made product I never heard back from her. Also, purchased leather chair less than one year later it is wearing on the seat. Nothing they can do. You can get the same quality furniture at Value City and get better service.

Meh. Salesman was arrogant and a bit condescending and made numerous wisecracks. He acted like he was royalty, kind of snobbish. We have been to many furniture stores in the CLE area, and Sedlak's is clearly the most expensive store of them all. If you enjoy over-paying, this is the place for you. Saw a bedroom set for $15,000 and I literally laughed out loud.

Worst customer service from Jan.ordered replacement cushions for our out door furniture to add another sofa.they came and we sent back with drivers as they were the wrong color.after 3 weeks of back and forth she has someone call us and says too bad, come and pick up your cushions. i have never been treated like this. We buy alot of furniture for our Westlake home and for Florida.but will never go back. STAY SWAY.and she is part of the owners family! What does that tell you.wont be in business long with that attitude.i had to give 1 star as you cannot give negative 10!

I bought a sofa from them a few months ago. I love it! The staff worked with me to figure out fabrics, which was great because I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to that stuff. That place is huge, too! Thankfully they have maps to help you navigate, and the sales people guide you along as well.

I shopped for a heated/massage recliner and was surprised at how few choices there were in their huge Recliner Cinema. I hadn't found anything better anywhere else, so I purchased one. A couple weeks later it was delivered, and although it's not exactly what I hoped, it's pretty good. I wasn't sure it was what I had actually ordered, so I called last night and the receptionist took a message for the salesperson to call me back, but she never did.
I went to the store today and dealt with a 60-something or so salesman. Although he answered all my questions and I'm confident what I ordered is what I got, he was creepy. He's one of those old men who think they are funny. If just one or two lame comments were made, I could have ignored it. But it was over and over and over. Never a straight, simple answer. Otherwise Sedlak was ok to deal with.

The minute I stepped through this place I had flashbacks to being a kid and playing in and running around the furniture store. (And how upset my Mom got when she had to find me in such a large place). Lots of inventory here, including Stickley. The kids' furniture needs some improvement. All the guy kept saying was, "This and that retailer are getting out of kid stuff" so it doesn't seem like they care too much about kids' bedrooms.
So be it. If you cannot find a recliner you like in what they call the Recliner Theater (I called it the Price is Right auditorium based on its layout) then you have issues. Grab one of their complimentary yard sticks and start measuring away!

Employee said that the furniture was sold AS IS. The fact was that it was not. It appeared as if a series of pretexts was being used for denial of rightful services. They are not too different than any other store except for the high prices and overhead. Take whatever used car sales talk you hear of with a bag of salt. For very similar furniture at much lower price, try Pummel's Furniture, Fish Furniture, Leopold Furniture, Brian's Furniture.

Very disappointed - went there last month to look at patio furniture. When I narrowed down the particular set I was interested in purchasing, the saleswoman sat me down to review color choices, cushions etc. She disappeared for a while and came back with a few samples of tile for the table top for me to look at but none of them were the colors I'd asked to see.
She seemed flustered and overall just odd. I won't give her name here because I don't want to insult her, but it was a bizarre experience. She disappeared again, and I had to leave soon to go pick up my son. I asked her to write up a sales quote for me with the color/finish/style I'd selected, and to call me with the price details. I gave her all my contact info, but she never called me. 2 days later, I called back and asked to speak to her directly, thinking perhaps she'd written my number down incorrectly or something like that.
She was unavailable, so I left a message for her, saying I was still waiting to hear back from her about the price for the patio set. She never called me back, AGAIN! It was so weird. Very unprofessional. Clearly they were not interested in my business.

High end store. Atleaest 50 employees, not one other than the door greeter said hello! They need more furniture that is "Casual" - sectionals. Very stuffy style - huge store, but not enough variety of normal things. Lots of furniture looked like it came exactly from my grandparents parlor or house. Need to get with the times!
