I ordered a Lancaster Legacy table and chairs from Harold's Oak House. The customer service from Mike was outstanding. He went out of his way to make sure our furniture was ready for us to pick up. The quality of the furniture is also top notch. I highly recommend buying from Harold's.

Harold's has the nicest people working there. They will custom build essentially any furniture piece you want. Take any item on the floor and customize it your way - stain, dimensions, features. Everything is entirely real wood - your choice oak or other. And hand made in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania area.

Harold's is hands down the best quality furniture store, with the best prices, I have ever gone too. I have bought multiple pieces over the years from here and so did my parents. If they don't have what you want in store they can get it custom made within weeks. Highly recommend this place to anybody wanting quality furniture. 3 of the 4 items in the photos below we have purchased from Harold's The tall dresser is on our wishlist.

Beautiful furniture, pleasent, knowledgeable, and courteous staff.

We bought a twin bed with drawers underneath it for storage. Fabulous workmanship. The bed has six drawers. I guess you could do twelve drawes and have a higher bed. The best thing about having a furniture custom made is that you can get what YOU want. I only wish we had this type of bed growing up and moving around the world while Dad was in the Air Force.

All furniture we purchased recently has come from them. Best quality, prices and people to work with.

If you want to deal with extremely rude staff than this is the place to go! Says family owned well you have an extremely rude family. There are so many other nice Amish made furniture all over Lancaster and I recommend to check them out and stay very far from this place.

You could not ask for a better experience at a furniture shop, I have purchased several items from Mike over the past ten years, the quality of his furniture hands down beats anything that I have purchased elsewhere. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me create custom items that he has made. If you are looking for reasonably priced hand made Amish furniture do yourself a favor, forget the overpriced stores in Lancaster and see Mike.

We purchased a oak sliding top table and a custom oak bookcase with doors that is going to be used as a pantry, both in Boston stain. Travel a little from the tourist areas to get a great deal. They truly are a family run business and value their customers. Thank you, Chris and Anna Childs

This is one of my favorite furniture stores. These folks not only do furniture, but they do incredible cabinets as well. Prices are fantastic. I suggest shopping here instead of Lancaster for furniture. Also, for kitchen cabinets, they easily beat the much crappier cabinets you get at Lowes and HD. Mike the owner is a super nice guy and very easy to deal with.

We have delt with Harold and Mike for over 20 years, almost completely furnished our home from Harold's and was never disappointed. Quality furniture and fantastic customer service was and is always provided.

The furniture has a solid quality that is difficult to describe. After buying my furniture from Harold's for many years, I don't think that I could go back to the furniture made with plastics, hollow sections, etc.

My salesperson (I believe it was Mike) was very helpful and took the time to point out several money-saving points to me. (Not your typical sales person). He also helped me understand the differences in the styles and what I was really looking for. The sales experience was so much better than any furniture store I have been to and the quality of this furniture is amazing.

The showroom has over 1000 pieces and there is a sample of almost every wood and stain you might want to purchase on the items you are looking for. He told me that they do all their own packing for shipment when the furniture arrives, and they also do their own deliveries - they DO NOT contract out. I am anxiously awaiting my bedroom pieces. The headboard wasnt exactly what I was looking for, so they are going to make it custom to what I want. Where else can you get this kind of service in this day and age? Highly recommend you visit or shop online.

Harold's Oak house sells only Quality Oak Furniture. The Amish craftsmanship is exquisite. We have made several purchases from them through the years and the service and quality of their furniture it created to. perfection. I must say that the Amish carpenters and woodworkers that build and design the furniture are not only very skilled but creative as well. Mike who now manages the store that his grandfather founded is old school. Insofar as he is extremely customer oriented. Harold is still at the store daily.

Although retired he cares about the customers and the products that they sell. They also can accommodate custom furniture requests. I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed in the quality of the furniture or in the staff of Harold's Oak House.

Harold's house of oak is amazing, they have a ton of selection in their show room, plus endless custom options. Harold greets customers year round in the front of the store, and Mike is so easy to work with. We just had a custom colored king size headboard and footboard delivered. It matches perfectly! We also had a child's bedroom set delivered.

They two young men who delivered were awesome, they assembled and set up everything, I couldn't have asked for better service or more beautiful pieces! Thank you Mike & Harold!

For the past three years I have wanted a mirror to match my natural hickory bedroom set. While I would occasionally see a design I liked, it never came in hickory. That was true when I was shopping in PA with a friend. But she just smiled and said "I know where to go." We went to Harold's Oak House. And they didn't have the mirror either, but Mike knew someone who would make it for me.

We discussed the design (based on a photo, but not exactly the same), he made a call, we agreed a price (it was reasonable for the piece I wanted) and an approximate date it would be ready. It was ready 2 weeks early. And all you city slickers out there note - they are open on Sunday. I highly recommend Harold's Oak House.
