Having been an avid woodworker for most of my life, I opened my business after college graduation in 1987. Since that time, I have had the privilege of working with a handful of talented furniture- cabinetmakers, helping to grow the business into what it is today. Starting as primarily furniture makers, we have evolved into a custom furniture and cabinet shop.

We have completed countless pieces of handmade furniture, ranging from distressed hand planed pine pieces to high end curly maple. Designs include a number of Early American styled tables and chairs, benches, step back hutches, side boards, desks, entertainment pieces and more.

As well as crafting fine furniture and cabinetry pieces, we have the ability to accent or "add on" to existing cabinetry by matching style, color and finish. We are occasionally challenged with this request, and have gone to great lengths to accommodate individual customers. Custom ground cutters are often produced to match certain moldings and door profiles, and countless hours have been spent color matching both paint and stain colors, as well as top coat sheen.Design and Layout is just as important as the look and quality of your cabinetry.

We also offer a large selection of chairs and benches, produced by another Pennsylvania manufacturer. These are solid hardwood items in a multitude of styles, and are available pre- finished by the manufacturer or custom finished in our facility. This custom kitchen was produced for local homeowners who were looking for a unique, one of a kind functional cabinetry in their space.

Wood Care Report

Wood is a natural fiber and is prone to expand and contract with changes in humidity. We take all necessary precautions during construction to allow for periodic movement of the wood with causing damage to the piece. Pre staining of edges helps to disguise any movement that may occur. Most of our products are top coated with a catalyzed clear finish that adds beauty and durability.
