I looked the store up online and their hours stated they closed at 5PM. It is a 45 min drive for me. I arrived at 4:05. There was 1 truck in the parking lot. I tried to open the door to the store and it was locked. The man got out of his truck and told me they close at 4. It is 4:05 and I just told him that I drove 45 mins to get here. I ask him what they had and he said I would have to come back.
You would think if he wanted your business he would be happy to give you at least 5 or 10 mins to look to see if there was something that might work and then come back the next day to complete the sale. Well I got back in my car and called my husband to tell him. You know, That guy hung out in his truck another 5 mins before leaving! It was 4:15 when he left the parking lot. If he didn't care at that moment to help me out. I certainly am not coming back on another day. That certainly isnt the way to treat potential buyers. Their loss!

I came in to buy furniture for two new offices and was greeted by an older salesman who acted as if I was a bother to him. What I was looking at wasn't priced and after he told me how much he walked away saying " if I can help you let me know" and I thought that was extremely rude. I had to go back and get him to inquire some more. I was there to purchase about $2500 in furniture.
Finally I placed an order because they had all I wanted but one part - it would arrive a week later to be the wrong color. I tried to return it with pictures showing the issue and the salesman couldn't be bothered and tried to tell me I was wrong. I left really mad (with my mismatched furniture) because he wasn't going to make it right at all. I will never return and I will make sure people in Deer Park where I work and La Porte where I'm from know better than to shop at G&P.

This place offers new and used office furniture. Some of it is very pricey but I was able to find some 3ft tables that we combined for a functional conference table that can be separated into individual desks/work spaces. The customer service in the front of the store is so-so but the staff in the back are very helpful and kind.
