Excellent customer service and reasonable pricing for the quality you receive: Shopping for furniture during "these times" can be nerve-racking with delivery delays, inconsistent delivery commitments (esp when you deal with big brands) and poor craftsmanship. *NOT SO* with Terra Nova designs (TND). I looked all over for the perfect dining table and when I found what I thought would be "the one" at TND, they were so helpful to help answer questions before I committed my credit card.

The table was in stock and delivered in due time (less than 1 month) by their delivery service, who was also professional, courteous, and very easy to communicate with. Oh, and the table is BEAUTIFUL! I'm back on their website looking for a side table to go with the beautiful piece I ordered through them.

Great experience all around. Peter was very accommodating and took us to see the table we eventually bought in the showroom, answered all our questions, and suggested other furniture to complete the dining area we're building out. The price was excellent and delivery was handled professionally and on-time. The table is sturdy and beautiful and is the perfect cornerstone for our dining area.

We ordered a lovely little display case to advertise the merch at our brewery. The piece is almost all glass. Our inquiries were answered quickly by the designer and it arrived in perfect condition. We are extremely pleased. Thank you Terran Nova!

I had a couch made with Terra Nova Designs. They were very responsive, helpful and commited to finding my perfect color and material for my sectional couch. (The owner even dropped off some swatches at my home!) I love my new couch, and am happy I decided to work with Terra Nova to bring my vision to life.

This place is an absolute gem. I've bought a dining set, coffee table, and bedroom furniture from here and am in love with every piece. The quality is amazing with a truly unique design. The furniture from Terra Nova will last a lifetime and it's worth checking out the showroom before it closes. Alejandra and Janeth provide excellent customer service. You won't regret it.

A bit overpriced even with (up to 70% off). Was greeted by the presumed owner, but not greeted at all by the woman at the front at the desk. Also loudly & noticeably took a picture of me as I exited. I wonder if everyone gets this treatment?

OUR NEW GO-TO STORE! As soon as you walk into the store, you will immediately fall in love with their setup/design. It was very hard to walk through and not want to buy everything. Janeth & Alejandra were amazing in helping us pick out our custom sofa! We could not be more happy. They understood our needs immediately and worked with us in designing the perfect sofa.

Their sales style was also what drew us to them from the start. They are not pushy, they give you space to think & speak privately, and they immediately understand your design aesthetic and suggest things you may have not considered. We'll be back soon for more pieces! Counter stools, custom headboard, coffee table, accent chairs, pillows, credenza. we want it all!

If you want the most amazing sofas this is the place you need to be shopping. The quality is outstanding! Plus the customer service is unparalleled. I dealt with Ale and Peter and both of them were committed to making sure I was happy. They are skilled, patient and detail oriented and really get to know you and your needs. Their main goal is to make you happy.

They have a huge selection of furniture from different parts of the world which makes it very hard to leave empty handed. I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know. Simply wonderful!

Terra Nova has some of the best finds in LA. I've gotten unique pieces for my home, and objects de art that I really love. Walking into Peter's large showroom is like being in Asia. It's a delight to shop there!

I have been doing business with Peter (the owner) for at least 10 years now. In my opinion, it's one of the best design/furniture stores around. Peter and his staff are always a pleasure to deal with, and highly professional. Every time I visit the store, Peter personally greets me, and I find myself losing track of time, as I explore every inch of the space. Peter is constantly traveling and bringing new treasures back to the delight of his customers. things that you just won't find anywhere else.

If you're looking for good quality, unusual objects to make your home special, then Terra Nova is the place. Peter cares deeply about his store and customers. I recently purchased a beautiful teak wood dining room set with custom chairs. Due to no fault of his, we found that the cushioning in the chairs made them too low for the table, which was a standard size. Peter rented a van, picked up the chairs at my home, and made multiple trips to the factory to ensure the problem was corrected and that I was satisfied.

He then brought them back to my home and made sure they were the proper height. The lengths Peter went to make things right says a lot about his commitment to his customers. I think you'd have a tough time finding another business that would work so tirelessly to make sure their customers are happy. I will return over and over again and can't wait to see what new interesting finds Peter will have in the store next time I visit.

I've been going to Terra Nova for many years now. I always enjoy the entire experience from just looking around to buying new things for my home. They are consistently kind and helpful without ever being pushy. I just purchased a new couch and absolutely love it. It could not be more comfortable. There are tons of choices (models and fabrics) to suit your needs. And I guarantee you will walk out with something else big or small.

I had been searching for sectionals online but they never seemed quite right. Stopped into Terra Nova to look and saw what I wanted but too large. Janet told me they could custom build the size I needed and deliver within 3 weeks. She let me pick the fabric and the legs and 3 weeks later it arrived. Delivery guys were fantastic very careful and took away my old sofa and loveseat. I highly recommend Terra Nova!

I am extremely satisfied about their service and their products. I went inside the store by chance and I found courtesy and professionalism. I bought a customized sofa and a love seat. They were delivered earlier and they were exactly what I was expecting. No complaints at all.

Amazing store. Reasonable prices, and very knowledgeable staff. They go to great lengths to import beautiful pieces from around the world. They helped me decorate a whole new living room from scratch, so basically doubled as a free interior decorator in addition to providing great, stylish furniture. They also stand behind their purchases -- I found a couple stains on a couch I bought when it was delivered and they came out and cleaned it the next day. Definitely make this your first stop for any furniture you're looking for.

Honestly, there are no equals to Terra Nova. I have been finding miracles here for years, including the prices that are so reasonable, that those miracles become mine instantly! Terra Nova is in my home, my office, my children's homes, or presented as gifts for dear friends. It is simply impossible to walk away from "it" when I see it From the ceremonial tassel I found to hang on my door when I am in session; or the credenza that turned my son's new home from great to extraordinary; or the framed, carved, 100 Chinese Blessings disks that hang in my guest room, my life has become filled with treasures.

Every single of my many purchases has its own story that prompts great conversation AND effusive compliments! I want to share this news with you.just do not buy that item over there that I must have!

Saw Terra Nova's ad in the LA Times and checked them out on Yelp. We needed one final piece for our new apartment. We went browsing today and found the perfect cabinet at Terra Nova. It's interesting and unique while being functional -- indicative of the store itself. Peter, the owner, was great to work with -- he was very helpful and accommodating.

The sale went smoothly and it'll be delivered by early afternoon tomorrow -- almost instant gratification.see it, buy it and it's in your home. Peter went above and beyond by having his craftsman do some "detailing" on the piece so that it'll meet our expectations. Truly a pleasure doing business with Peter at Terra Nova Designs. Terra Nova and owner Peter are my favorites when shopping for interior decor. I bought a lot of my loft pieces from Peter 10 years ago to create an Asian vibe. Peter has an artful eye and picks out wonderful pieces from his travel. When I went shopping recently for a new couch I went all over Los Angeles including RH, but settled on Terra Nova. They have new styles from a local manufacturer and American made was important to me.

It is so comfortable and Peter even came over to make sure the cushions were in perfect shape. Terra Nova is my secret place - but you can make it yours too because it's a very special store.

So on my way to driving to a friends house I thought I'd check out yelp for furniture stores and Terra Nova Designs popped up. After looking at so many others place for the perfect design I wanted for my living room, I didn't have much luck. Needless to say, I didn't get my hopes up on this place. Well they exceeded my hopes and within 30mins in the store I found a coffee table, two end tables and a media center that I fell in love with.

The pricing was very reasonable for the great quality of the furniture and delivery was so fast. All of the items were in my home two days after visiting the store. The young lady and the gentleman were so pleasant to do business with. They even told me when I'm ready to buy bedroom furniture ( as I mentioned I was going to be looking for some) they could find pieces that were no longer in stock. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I honestly would.

We recently purchased a beautiful cabinet from Terra Nova to meet a very special need to fit into a tight room layout and provide much needed storage. We worked with Peter, as we had done several times over the years to work out the design and custom dimensions. Peter had it custom made by his resources. The result was a real "Wow". It was delivered and it met every requirement we specified including a flexible shelf system.

We couldn't be happier. Terra Nova is a valued resource that we have worked with for many years in purchasing great pieces for our home. We couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.

I love this place! I have been coming here a long time now. From 150 yr old farm stools to modern planters, they always have something that I want to buy.

Terra Nova has an amazing and comprehensive stock of Asian antiques and reproductions at very fair prices. They also carry custom made sofas and chairs. Peter and Alejandra are great to work with. I highly recommend this store for furniture and accessories. I have been very pleased with the buffet, bookcase, Tibetan silver necklace, stone Buddha and two different antique gates, one Chinese and one from India that I have purchased there. If you like Asian style furniture and accessories, this is a must see store.

I was meeting Lucy Y. at Miss Stevens, but this store was right next door and I can never ignore Asian decor. I am always looking for new items for my new place, and this store has a great selection. Am especially looking for some type of Asian-ish buffet for one wall. Trucked on through the store and found all kinds of things from buffets, to tables, chairs, screens, vases, lamps, mirrors. A real find. You have to look around and concentrate, because there are so many things to see. I will be back when I have more time to contemplate.
