I ordered a coffee table but the lower shelf arrived damaged. Shawn immediately took care of the problem and had a new shelf shipped within days. Great customer service!

There are not enough stars to give this place. Shawn and John go the extra 100 miles to ensure their customers are happy. I bought a few furniture items from them and I had to file a warranty claim on my dining room table. They took such amazing care of me and did everything they could to make sure I was happy with the replacement item. They are such great honest people and I am so happy I met them.

Beside selling top quality furniture, they provide great recommendations! When I moved here from California, I was in the middle of dental care and had no dentist. When I stopped by their store to purchase my furniture and mentioned this to them, Shawn provided me a referral and thanks to her, I found an amazing dentist! I Highly recommend this store. I came here when I moved from California to Virginia and I am so happy that I did. The quality of the furniture is superior. But beyond that the owner Shawn is absolutely amazing. Had the most amazing experience Buying furniture here. We are in the middle of a cross country move and I called to place an order over the phone, Dustin was extremely helpful and walked me through the process and even used FaceTime to show items to me. We love Good Wood! It's tough to find better prices for this level of quality furniture. Especially if you stain or paint the items yourself! Good Wood's main features are unfinished furniture pieces, although they also carry select finished items. Everything is well made; this isn't assembly line stuff that gets wobbly or falls apart after a few years.

They carry something for every room, from beds to tables to shelves of all sizes. They carry wood stain products in store, and have a business they can recommend to stain or paint items that are unfinished. We've purchased over a dozen pieces for our home from here through the years and everything is still in excellent condition. In today's market it's rare to find places offering items of long term value like the ones found at Good Wood. Definitely give them a look, especially at sale times!

My wife and I bought a small table and two chairs for our kitchen and we absolutely loved how sturdy they where, so when it came time to buy a new chest of drawers they where my first pick. When we arrived the staff was very helpful in loading it into our vehicle and then where very helpful in picking out a stain for it.

This was our 2nd stop on our quest for a new dining set and I wish we could have stayed in the store longer (I have no doubt that we will purchase from here in the next few weeks), but our dinner pick up was imminent. We want a nice, solid wood dining set that will stay with us for many years to come. I'm a sentimental softy, picturing our little girl completing her homework at the table every night while I cook dinner, just as I did growing up. Goodwood offers just what we're looking for - incredibly beautiful, solid hardwood pieces that are meant to last forever - and they're much more affordable than our first stop @ Heritage Amish Furniture.

For dining sets, they offer finished and unfinished pieces. If you purchase finished, the pricing is done for table and 4 chairs. Unfinished pieces are sold a la carte and you can select your own finish/stain. The sales associates were incredibly friendly - not overbearing - and were available when we did have a question regarding table colors and leaves. I'm really looking forward to going back in the next week or so to select our set!

I love this place! They always have great choices of everything you could ever want for your home or closet. That's highly recommend you going there at least twice a week because they always have new stuff coming in!

Excellent furniture, competitive prices. This place has high quality handmade wooden furniture at great prices. We were able to buy American made unfinished bookshelves and pick out the stain colors (with some helpful advice from the owner regarding color choices). I definitely recommend this place if you want solid, high quality furniture and a no hassle sales environment.

Service was excellent. They have a great selection of furniture with different options that you can choose from. You have a choice of unfinished or finished furniture so you can have it you way. Only good solid wood here for an incredible price. Staff very knowledgeable about all products. Would highly recommend coming to see what they have before any furniture purchase.

We recently ordered bunk beds from Goodwood Furniture. Our salesperson, Dustin, was very helpful on the sales floor and even followed up to make sure we received the right color when the manufacturer made a change in paint. Dustin also was part of the delivery crew that brought the beds and assembled them (definitely recommend the white glove service where for a nominal fee they assemble the furniture for you!). The crew was very friendly and made sure everything was perfect before leaving. We will definitely use Goodwood again - excellent products and service!

Great quality solid wood furniture. We furnished most of our home and love every piece. Everyone working there is very kind. No one was pushy like you find at other furniture stores. Delivery people were professional as well. Highly recommend and will continue to buy from them!

What a fantastic place. I remember coming here as a kid with my parents and picking out naked furniture to stain and paint on our own. I just wanted to walk through to get an idea of they offered. We just bought a house and at some point I'd like to add some pieces that we can make our own. They had bookshelves, tv stands, benches, tables, shelves oh my.

They are having a 40-60% clearance right now which makes these prices great. They also have finished pieces which looked good too. I'm happy that this store is still standing and I can't wait to go back to make some purchases. It's in a strip mall and you have to use Jeanne st to access it. There is a decent amount of parking too. I hope they have a sale when I am ready to buy!

This is the only furniture store to shop at. They are very patient and friendly and honest. We are repeat customers and we will not go anywhere else for our furniture needs. The quality is excellent and the customer service is impeccable. It is as if you are shopping with familiar friends. They certainly treat you that way.

We've shopped here a few times, but today reminded me why we go back. Not only do they have great furniture pieces, but their customer service is top notch. They were patient with as we tried to find the perfect piece and color option all while loving on our little boy.

I have bought furniture from here numerous times, it's perfect for any home. You can buy prefinished pieces, or go bare and stain, gel, and paint it however you like for usually 50% or less of the regular price. The quality is great, they have a good selection of gel stains in the back, and plenty of advice for the first time crafter. Like their name implys, most of their pieces are 100% solid wood and if you're lucky you'll come across a rare authentic Amish piece. Their furniture should last you a lifetime and some, and you have the freedom to make it truly unique.

I wrote a rather negative review, trying to be transparent about my dissatisfaction about our experience there. They called me today and said, given the circumstance, they would return the piece. I am waiting on the refund, but appreciate the final resolution to make it right. They receive an extra two stars for their conflict resolution.

Finally made it in to this place and I am sooooo impressed with many things. 1. The store and displays are great! All their products look wonderful. 2. I purchased some tables and high stools the cost was very affordable, the shipping was very fast, and I love my items. 3. The customer service is top notch. They are extremely helpful and friendly. 4. Products are great quality! I will be a return customer again, and again.
