Trader Boys Discount Office Furniture

After reading a majority of those Yelp reviews praising Trader Boys, I must have caught them on an "off" day. I wanted to support a local business, and after reading on their website, that they were a "family owner" business, my decision was even stronger to support them. I was shopping for an office chair and their website offered many options. From the moment I walked in, I felt my presence was unimportant; I was not greeted until I was closer to the employees.

Initially I was helped by the daughter of the business owner, and after I shared w/her what I was shopping for she invited her co-worker to intervene. Cameron basically showed me one office chair that had all my requirements, then proceeded back to his desk-stating "I could try other chairs if I'd like". That was the extent of the exchange I had with the employees.

It must have been lunch time, for several other employees including the owner came and went, not one person said "hello", or checked in with me while I was wandering around in the warehouse. I felt that perhaps my "meager" price point of $200-$350 was not enough of an incentive to foster my business. I finally verbalized to the woman who helped me first off, stating "ok, who do I talk to in order to purchase this chair".

I have had over 15 years of retail experience to know that part of the work is creating a relationship with my customers. That was not my experience with this business. Not only did I feel unwelcome, but after initially entering me in their computer system, I was told that the delivery charge to bring the chair 1.67 miles, and one flight of stairs, to my house was an extra $150.

I was not ready to commit to a purchase of over $500. Instead I came home and went online. It is no wonder that Amazon is so popular. I found a chair w/all my needs less than what I originally budgeted for, and it will be delivered and assembled for a nominal fee.

Cameron (Account Executive) has excellent communication. He got to us in a timely manner regarding our inquiries. I have a very busy schedule and he made it easy by making sure that he met our needs and following up. I highly recommend Trader Boys Office Furniture Company.

Many years removed from the original purchase Kacey Silverton, Director of Operations jumped into help service the hydraulic cylinder under manufacturer warranty. Especially during the pandemic with retail stores running limited hours Kacey and her brother Kellen were quick to respond, set an appointment, and get me back in my office chair ready for my next Zoom meeting. You have reinforced why it is so important and valuable to have local family owned business that cherish their customer and think about the long term.

I needed to replace my three 15+ year old office chairs at home, and after a few phone calls with Kellen, I got the good-looking and modern replacements at the same day. Kellen was very helpful and recommended a few to choose. Some were taking longer time to deliver, and as I urgently needed the chairs, Kellen gave me new chairs on the floor. Kellen was very nice to put each in my car (I had make three short trips to home). All in all, Kellen provided excellent service and I got all the chairs I needed at the same day.

The Rayner family and the rest of the staff at Trader Boys are the real deal. They are knowledgeable, care about their customers and each other. A better buying experience would be tough to find. Check them out.

My wife and I recently went to Trader Boys on Pico to buy some office chairs for our house. Trader Boys has a terrific selection ranging from low to high end. Once we narrowed down our choices, we asked one of the salespersons for some assistance. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We picked out our chairs, chose the quality of the leather, chose the color and the type of arm rests. Essentially, we built the chairs to our liking.

Our chairs weren't ready for delivery until after the store had closed due to the coronavirus. Rather than have us wait an unknown period of time, Kellen delivered our new chairs to our front door at an agreed upon date and time. The chairs were delivered in perfect condition, exactly as we had chosen. The entire process went very smoothly. As a result, I strongly recommend Trader Boys for anyone who is looking for well built and comfortable office furniture.

We used Trader Boys to order all the furniture for our new office. Kellen helped us figure out the right sizes and pieces to fit in our space and helped us find some super cool designs. From start to finish, working with him and his team was a pleasure. They were friendly, helpful, communicative and easy to work with. The furniture arrived on time.

They gave us an excellent service, we bought a reception desk they were very patient while picking the colors, they gave us all kind of information about the materials and shapes, plus the price was totally worth it for the amazing quality and design of the desk. They delivered on time and even if we made a color change they day after we purchased it, they did kindly.

I know they have larger accounts than us, but they genuinely treat us as though we're their number one. Just bought some ergonomic office chairs at Trader Boys and couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience. Kellen their manager was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the products and helped me find the perfect chairs for my office and needs. Their team helped me load everything into my cars the same day I purchased it and the whole process was seamless and pleasant. Great and competitive prices. You will not get this type of personable, white glove treatment at any of the other office furniture suppliers. Highly recommend Trader Boys!

Nice selection of chairs. Lots and lots of options to choose from, and many of them very appealing - just totally out of our price range, yikes. If you're looking for high end office chairs, this is definitely your stop. If you're just looking for a one-off desk chair to replace the awkward kitchen chair you've been using (speaking from experience) you can find some cheaper options elsewhere.

Wow I wished I looked up the terrible reviews before I gave this place my business. It is possible they could handle a single desk purchase but DO NOT bring big business here they are not able to handle it. We spent $53,000 here and they messed up more than 1/2 the order and was unwilling to fix it. Joey was my sales person then promoted to designer I wish they had a real designer who knew measurements and design.

I had more then 5 "final design" revisions because of his incorrect work wrong placement of grommets, sizes, etc he ordered a $10,000 conference table 2 feet too short. He had the email with the correct size from me but decided to make his own up size when it arrived it looked like a kid table in a huge room and the desks arrived with ZERO grommet holes.

The owner (Camron) and Joey did not seam shocked it was all wrong it seamed to be a common practice in their business because "all sales are final". While I was working with my attorny on this issue they wanted to come to my office and drill holes in the desk I did not give them permission and they sent their guys to my office told my staff they had permission and drilled holes in the wrong places!

There is common practice business ethics and their shady business practices are protected by "all sales are final". I am suing them if anybody else who had issues with them are more than welcome to join my case.

Fantastic business. I accidentally left my credit card and the owner went above and beyond to find me in order to get the card back to me safely. I really appreciate it!

Trader Boys Is the best! I have had back problems for years from sitting at a desk all day and could never seem to find the right chair. The salesperson Kellen took his time to figure out what my concerns were and worked with me to find the perfect chair. Great place!

What a great find. We were looking for a desk and didn't want to spend a lot. They of course have many large ticket items that are amazing but they also have blowout items that were within budget! We scored. The staff was hands down the best ever. Helpful is an understatement. they physically helped every step of the way. Took the piece apart for us then helped load it and even found rope to tie the hatch down. I highly recommend checking this place out for any home or office needs.

Although I have not yet bought anything from Trader Boys, Kenny has been nothing but helpful with a can do attitude. I hope it carries through an order if I ever get there.

I had a good experience in shopping for my chair here because I found something I really loved with the help of a sales person (Cameron) and ordered it the day I went in. Unfortunately it took approximately 2 months for me to find out that my chair had come in, and I only found out because I called a third time to inquire. Despite the online response to my initial review, if a follow up call was placed it went to an incorrect phone number because my phone shows no messages received, nor missed calls from Trader Boys. Mistakes do happen though, I understand that. Further update: After I picked up the chair today, I spoke to Cameron who said he was truly sorry for the trouble, agreed that they needed a proper follow up system, and offered to provide glides for the chair at no cost to me, and have them shipped to my home. Unfortunately, the glides were not shipped to me. However, Kacey told me that the glides could not only be dropped off at my home, but also installed at no charge.

The fact is, I love the chair I got here. Trader Boys has a great selection. You can go in and try out the chairs, which is something we are losing in this day and age. Also, they have a good ensemble staff who can step in for each other if and when needed so that they deliver the best service possible. This is the mark of a good team.

Needed a white board and no one I called had one in stock (Staples, etc.). I called Trader Boys and spoke to Kenny, who was super chill. I picked it up within an hour and he even put it in my car for me. Definitely recommend +

I had a great experience here. Nicely arranged furniture in the showroom, great prices, and helpful sales people. Jane was particularly helpful! They can also help you plan your space, if you need. I would recommend to anyone looking for furniture!

Drove up from Orange County on Saturday to look at task chairs for my office after speaking with a staff member earlier in the week. Got there only to be ignored by the two stoner kids working there that were more interested in their burgers and fries than customer service and sales. There were half a dozen customers in the store, all being ignored by the two bozos working there. I asked for assistance a couple times but there of no help so i left. Don't waste your time going here.

Trader Boys is no longer a business that puts customer service first. Maybe they're struggling financially but they've lost a long-standing customer who used to rave about them to everyone. I picked out a chair with Joey's help and the chair hurt my back but when I tried to get him to come up with some kind of solution to exchanging the chair, one of the owners (Cameron) was rude, condescending, insulting and didn't care at all about helping me. I'm going to shop on Amazon from now on.

Trader Boys Office Furniture is a fantastic place to get not only furniture for your office but also for you home! I came looking to buy a new desk for my blossoming graphic design business and couldn't be more pleased by the fantastic service and quality of the furniture. The business is family owned, operated and all around friendly which is a pleasure compared to the experience I had trying to buy my home furniture at Ikea and Pottery Barn. The prices are very fair so there is no need for haggling which makes the buying experience even easier.

Went into TB looking for a student desk yesterday. Walked around the showroom floor. Saw the salesmen and woman at the back working at their desks. Walked around some more then walked out. I'd complain about the customer service, but there wasn't any. With experiences like this it's no wonder people shop online instead.

I've been doing business on the Westside of Los Angeles for a good many years, and Trader Boys has been a fixture in the neighborhood for as long as I can remember. And for all that time I think it's been owned by the same family, which is really rare in this day and age. Equally rare is that they seem to really care about their customers and the products they sell.

I've furnished more than ten offices at his point, and they are my ONLY 'go to' for office furniture. And on the very few occasions that I've had an issue with something I bought there, they took care of it immediately. I can't recommend them too highly.
